I give my son quorn nuggets. Neither of us can tell the difference!

After giving these (Chicken Burgers) to the kids for years, I actually tried a one a few months back. They do not taste even remotely like chicken, kids love em though. F***ing ghastly. Heat added though, quick and easy tea the kids wolfed down every time.

Yikes is that a Mumsnet terf logo I see? I am out.

Maybe (shock)

It's positive, no shame in that if it's out of stock! I've had similar happen to me also, where a deal is no longer available soon after posting it. Particularly Amazon - I'm sure they must watch traffic and purchasing patterns and then raise prices very quickly if something is proving too popular :D

Thank you. Unfortunately it was apparently cheaper in Tesco and now oos. I searched but it didn't come up!

Nice price,I paid a quid in Tesco before Easter for these, who cares if Easters gone still cheap chocolate to eat now.heat.

Thanks, that's very kind. Though my deal still nosedived (lol)

"Multiple mods" haven't been keeping it on topic, they were removing comments they disagree with and leaving all anti-vegan sentiment untouched until their hypocrisy was pointed out

Hi reviewing after members have reported thread - it seems multiple mods have been keeping @ankitpatel123 's thread on topic - it is a deal forum dietary discussions, farming practices etc all belong in MISC. Some comments may have been removed if they also quoted or referenced deleted posts. If we've missed some use the report link adjacent to the comment. So price comparisons, availability, ingredients, best before dates, stock levels etc - anything to do with the actual deal offered by this retailer is allowed, debates head to MISC please. If off topic comments are posted please report them rather than reply to them in the thread, thanks all

Same, the cones are small. I bought this for the first time at Sainsbury's for £2.50 and posted it on here because I thought it was a good price.

The strawberry one is so good. I bought this last year too. I haven't checked this year but I hope that they haven't stopped selling them in my local store.

Me too im intolerant so have to make do with glace or sorbet lidl do some good ones and walls swedish glace is good

Ardbeg 10 for £37.00 @ Ocado
Found 12th AprFound 12th Apr
Seems it can be picked up for £37 on offer in sainsburys also, but hoping this is useful to those who are Ocado shoppers :)

I made a trip to Islay & Jura just to try all the peated offerings and have a holiday away from the city. Just prefer the rich and smoky varieties, Jura Prophecy was the drink that converted me. The Mrs is more on the side of Old Pulteney and Talisker, where I tend to agree less as the sea salt is more prevalent. Heading to the whisky show this year to try and broaden the horizons again :D

Hi have tried this whisky and for me it was the most horrible thing I have ever drunk in my life, am not trying to be funny but why do people like this so much, for me it tasted like some horrible medicine the nurse would try to shove down your throat at the hospital. Talisker is a really good dram in my opinion! Let me know your thoughts guys?

Couldn't agree more

Good price for a lovely dram

My favourite whisky, tempting to visit Sainsburys now :)

Yeah we in the craft gin club and we get 25% discount on a lot of gins through work too so there's quite a few drinks. Bought a bottle of that Pink Pepper the other week which alas was full price, may well crack that open tonight. I've cancelled the order for them other Tonics, well edited it for regular groceries instead. We got so much in we'll be good all Summer and maybe even Autumn too.

No Worries at all, i suspect your right in that its down to the local hub not having stock. I'm in two online monthly Gin Clubs and have amassed, as it appears you have, a huge amount of Gin and other spirits over the years. That's quite a short BBD for tonic water. Hopefully the second batch will have a longer date.

I really not got a clue what's going on there then :/ I'm sorry mate, it's got to be down to the hub that serves your region I'd have thought. I've noticed them ones that got delivered last night have August this year as the BBD which is fine but if the other eight coming on Friday are the same that's not okay. We do have a substantial gin problem in the household but not to such a point where we'll go through 320 odd bottles of the same vanilla Tonic in four months with the scores of other varieties and flavours we already got. I might give 'em a bell and see if there's any way they can tell me what the date will be in that second order :o

no luck for me unfortunately. tried various dates and always out of stock. good find though, glad you received your orders. thanks for posting.

I understood that. I made a wrong assumption like I said earlier.

It's not "formulated specifically for this usage". It's made by evaporating Dead Sea water (hence Dead Sea Salt) and sold to anybody who'll pay and used for whatever purpose they want. Whether it's "snake oil" or not is open to debate. :)

go for the epsom salts if any come up on a deal good for detox and skin rashes

Rinse the bath well after so the salt won't remain in there corroding anything. Use according instructions on the bag and don't use them if your bath tub isn't suitable according to the manufacturer. I haven't noticed any damage. Why is that even in quotes? I haven't even thought about the salts corroding the fittings as I assume the salts are formulated specifically for this usage and tested. Sorry if I made a wrong assumption. I would have thought companies producing them wouldn't want customers complaining that the salts they sell ruined their bath tub. Simply that.

From the website Chemical Composition: Magnesium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, Bromide, Sulphates, Insolubles, Water of Crystallization Nothing to do with it being "designed for this usage". It's salt, so it'll corrode. The reason you haven't "noticed any damage" is your fittings are all plated.

Same price at Sainsbury's..........................................if you buy six!

Great I'll save £500 on filling my bath this week. Anyone know any caviar deals? I bath once a week so not going over the top.

Bottle of coloured water, and Bobs the Uncle.

Champagne was oddly introduced as part of a cost cutting exercise. Liz has been known to use a bottle of whisky on occasions. Waste of a good scotch IMO!

Are these the fellas that Liz lobs at the ships when she christens them?

Had these glasses for a few years; can hardly notice the name and they are proper quality glasses, nice and sturdy but not too thick and bulky. Not had one chip yet but they are a little expensive because of the brand.

Probably excess stock from Jamie Oliver's chain of restaurants which have just gone bust ;)

having his name on the glass is ultra naff so a no from me as well

Anything with Jamie Oliver's face on it is a no from me

price comp shows this is an excellent price

250g Marmite NEW Reduced Salt Version £2.40 @ Ocado

I like marmite because of the salty contents, any reason why I should go for this one?

Not sure why people buy Marmite when, for example, Tesco/Morrison's Yeast Extract is a lot cheaper and tastes virtually the same!

I wish they'd work on making it more spreadable (highfive)

why is it bleu?

Sly move. It means that you'll end up using more of it to get the same amount of flavour on your toast, unless, as others have suggested, you sprinkle some salt on...

Well somebody likes it as they are now out of stock. Mine turned up today and this does seem a quality kettle. Fast boiling relatively quiet and nice finish and pours well. Lid is fine nice fit and easy removal.

I think it's a hot deal no matter if it's more expensive than some other kettles, u get what u pay for... Matching kettle same price plus 20 pound discount for the first time buyers . Great deal thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing! People making negative comments should be mindful that this may put others off posting, then where would HDUK be....

Does the kettle fill itself and make the coffee too? It may be a reduced price but still seems expensive for a kettle. It's hardly high tech stuff.

Would that go nicely with some kettle chips??

I won't

You're missing the point. Never mind...

It's not some sort of weird competition! I voted hot on your deal.

Again - one is vintage, the other is non-vintage. Not a direct comparison.
