How did you get the £1052 price?
  4. AudioJunki3's avatar
Only £ 1,052.18 with perks at work
  5. FairPriceSystems's avatar
Excellent Price, and will suit a light dev user to with its multi core 700F, thats where these omen kick in when they are on offer (its not a price error, its a promo, so it makes others look odd like their low spec being more cost).

Airflow isnt upto the standard of open mesh cases, but they will be enough to run this perfectly well, but if ur the type that get your knickers in a twist over afew degree's move on, one of the the most common feedback is airflow, but that was mostly from a price point of origin, look at the standard price, would u be quite peed if u paid that and got this?. or paid reseller cost inc during the hell market?, meanwhile many tubers will ... all over this to get likes.

this be idea for someone not too bothered about full headon cosmetics but tidy enough in side, and a user that that does abit of all sorts, bit of dev, a gamer, an all arounder on the medium side over a nice 1440 set up.

i wouldnt upgrade past the 700F CPU myself, id keep it at that, its got a 600W gold, and prob suit nvidia next gen 6070 range, as anyone who buys now will prob skip 5000series

an instant improvment would be to switch out the ram. (edited)
    pannan's avatar
you think this would be up to the job of 1440 upscaling with rtx/60 on recent games, cyberpunk etc on high?

Yeah I've plunged for it as well. Been looking for my first ever gaming PC for the last few months, didn't want to spend over £1200 but wanted a 4070 Super or Ti to come up on a fire deal before I bit the bullet. There are a few upgrades this could do with, as always (PSU and RAM, specifically, cooling isn't the best possible), but for this price? All I can see is a superb deal. I got it for a further 10% off by signing up for an Education/Student account, and there's also a "HyperX cashback" offer where you'll get up to £50 cashback when buying HyperX accessories with it. So I've bought a mouse mat and wrist rests, essentially for free on top. Total, after I claim the cashback, will be £1052. Absolute bargain.
    Raaawr's avatar
FYI, it says you can't use a promotion on the order in the cashback t&c's, this includes sales, so I'd check with hp before they dispatch your products. (edited)
  7. lo_pan's avatar
Ordered with work discount scheme and got an extra 10% off so came to £1,052.18. Worth checking if you have access to similar a scheme.

I have a HP GT13-1049na 3080Ti setup (Intel Core i9, 32GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, 1TB SSD, Black, 2TB HDD). How much would I get for this if I sold it? 2yr old in May.

Is this much of an upgrade? (edited)
    Calumt's avatar
    No
  9. Lee.Nathan's avatar
Looks great for the money, wondering if it's a pricing error as this is cheaper than even their 13400f + 4060 ti systems
  10. skinrush's avatar
600w gold PSU for those interested.
    Moonmonkeys's avatar
The CPU and GPU can reach over 500W. Not much wiggle room there
  11. doobyduck's avatar
Looks hot...but can't see much airflow in this case.
  12. pannan's avatar
    TCB Gaming Laptops & Desktops= 0.85% :/
  13. asl9791's avatar
Gone for it. Just don't have the time to put into self build at the moment and this does look good value top to bottom.
  14. jimbo001's avatar
Brilliant deal, I've managed to build something similar for less (using refurb/used parts) but this is new with a warranty!

4k60 is achievable with dlss on high.
  15. Uncommon.Sense's avatar
Great price for a big brand pre-built, only let down is the RAM quantity and speed, but that could be easily remedied later down the line.
Check TopCashBack and Quidco plus other vouchers schemes for extra money off, not sure if Amex still have their HP promo on.
  16. sdotpdot's avatar
    I snoozed, I "losed".

Looks to be out of stock

Looks very solid for the cash.
  18. skinrush's avatar
Do HP Omen systems still suffer with poor thermal performance?
A couple of years ago they had a bit of a reputation for that.
    Amir_Hamzah's avatar
My 3080 omen is cooled decently,
Though the CPU has a 120mm aio which I wish were bigger.
  19. TheStainlessSteelRat's avatar
I've pulled the trigger. Looks to be £1,800 worth of parts, albeit in a small case, 13th gen CPU, and 32GB of RAM would be nicer (but easily upgraded). Thanks for posting. Here's hoping it's not a lemon! I was after a gaming PC for VR use (with Quest 3) and this seems to fit the bill. (edited)
  20. gutterknife's avatar
Looks tobe a crazy deal for the parts (actual high-speed RAM) - but the cooling seems almost non-existent, right?
    MasterAK's avatar
    5200 (probably CL40) is slow for DDR5.
  21. Eddie's avatar
    wow. What a deal.

    Solid
  23. gutterknife's avatar
Pulled it and gone for this too. Too good to pass up and room for some easy upgrades.

Thanks OP I have gone for this. Total steal at this price!

did you upgrade warranty to 3 years? £40 a year roughly
  27. Almobeana's avatar
I’m not sure if this is that great a deal is it? I guess for prebuilt it’s not bad but you could build a better spec than this for around the same price no?
    Christian_31's avatar
Not sure if I'd agree there. This is prebuilt with a warranty. I'm someone who doesn't have a clue about building a PC, and with each of those parts and the build itself comes with a risk of it not working, being a hassle to sort out under warranty per part, buying and installing a legit copy of Windows etc.. Not to mention I think you'd legitimately be very, very hard pressed to hit £1169 (£1052 with the student deal) by building it yourself anyway. The 4070Ti tends to be £550-640 by itself at its best price.
  28. ilovetennis's avatar
Anyone got a student code to bring it down further, want to pull the trigger, much appreciated
    s_h13's avatar
U have to use a epp web
  29. s_h13's avatar
    What's the warranty with this
    ilovetennis's avatar
1 year (1/1/0) limited warranty includes 1 year of parts and labor. No on-site repair. Terms and conditions vary by country. Certain restrictions and exclusions apply.

Could buy 3 years for £129 (edited)
  30. leesus's avatar
Anyone with a spare student discount/work discount they don’t need?
  31. sotvsy's avatar
The fan noise can be a bit loud at times, especially when the system is under heavy load. It can be distracting during intense gaming sessions.
  32. StolenDiagram's avatar
I'm in the market for a new gaming pc. Want one which will allow 60+ fps at max settings for the newest games, whilst allowing a degree of future proofing without the need to upgrade. Don't currently have a 4k monitor, not sure I'll get one. Would this desktop fit the bill, or should I get the more powerful, more expensive build from here: hotukdeals.com/dea…354
  33. Wakinglimb's avatar
    Ordered. Thanks OP.
  34. MajorDisaster999's avatar
Been waiting for a Ti or Super deal, whilst not perfect, for the price (Inc 10%) this looks absolutely amazing.

What sort of difference would upgrading the ram make.
    ilovetennis's avatar
so take it 2 x ram slots available, and 2 x 8gb occupying the slots. Please can someone link the correct Ram to purchase, looking at 32gb or 64gb overall
  35. s_h13's avatar
When purchasing this pc make sure you get some accessories if the totals under £50 you'll get that back in cashback.
    Rush420's avatar
    How come ?
  36. James_cleeve73's avatar
Is good if you can put up with the constant ominous chanting in the quiet sections of games
    SANCTUS!
    LINIMOUS!
Guess that's just part of the whole HP Omen charm...
  37. zarg's avatar
Does changing out he RAM void the warranty?
    FairPriceSystems's avatar
Nope, (but i would keep the ram to one side incase of having to send it back)

Would this be a worthwhile upgrade on an AMD 5600x, x570 Aurus Elite, 32gb DDR4, 3080 FE based system? I haven't upgraded for a while so it seems like a decent upgrade for around £100 or so once I sell my existing system. (edited)
    toge's avatar
If its a £100 upgrade, defo.
