Details

A genuine do it all drop bar machine, the lightweight Kanzo C Carbon gravel bike loves to explore just as much as you do. With its SRAM Apex1 drivetrain and 11-42T cassette, it will power you along the toughest bikepacking routes and cyclocross (CX) courses with ease.

Plus, its tough Shimano RS171 DB and Vittoria Terreno Dry tyres will keep you rolling efficiently and in control over all terrains and in all riding conditions.
The Kanzo C is a true all-road bike. Its relaxed road geometry is designed with gravel racing in mind. It can easily handle tyres up to 36mm-wide, with ample space built into the frame to fit mudguards. Take it straight from road to off-road. In those long, straighter sections of trails, it rides like a dream. But no matter the terrain you encounter, this bike will ensure that your ride is all about fun.

With the Kanzo Adventure, you can cruise for miles through nature, knowing you’re fully prepared for anything nature throws at you. This gravel bike is the perfect balance of comfort and performance. Plus, its geometry delivers comfort to easily navigate any off-road challenges. And this geometry design also gives it impressively aggressive handling for smoothly changing pace or direction at will.

The bottom bracket and chainstays are specially designed to accommodate up to 47mm wide tyres, without losing stiffness. This is key for when you’re climbing with bike bags filled to the brim. The straight top tube and numerous lugs further extend its versatility for touring and bikepacking. You can easily take everything needed for an overnighter - including a sleeping bag.

When you order a bike, one of our trained mechanics will carefully prepare and pack your bike for shipping. Upon delivery, the assembly is simple and all necessary tools and plastic pedals are conveniently included in the box.

Depending on the delivery service and destination, bikes will either be delivered in a large or a small box. Below is a guide as to how your bike will arrive:

This is a Chinese Carbonda 696 frameset, used by many many companies to build affordable gravel bikes, has a great reputation. Its the same as the Planet X Free Ranger, but with slightly better wheels. Great price.

Great price for a lovely bike. I love the colour.
I would recommend Everyone to get a bike fitting first so that they know exactly if a bike would fit. A friend of mine had to change half of his bike to fit it properly.

That’s pretty much normal for cyclists, the stock parts are for average people of the expected fit. Eg I ride 40cm bars, virtually all bikes in my size come with 42cm (like the above) so would have to change unless I go to somewhere I can customise components.

As Tincaman stated its an open mould frame bike. Hence the price.
It's a very reputable frameset though. I ride one myself and rate it very highly.
The rest of the spec is not amazing but serviceable I guess.

Bit of an odd mismatch of descriptions. Says it can have up to 36mm but is specced with 38

It looks like an error as further down says has 47mm clearance

Wow. That is a hell of a bargain. If I didn't already have loads of bikes I'd buy it! Shame I can only ride one at a time!

Hi mod frame, 47mm clearance and hydraulic brakes for a Ridley is mega value.

Just be careful on Ridleys as they often size up large compared to other bikes. So it could well be that if you are a large in other brands, you are a medium in a Ridley. (edited)

I have this bike and can highly recommend it, also looks much better in the flesh, the saddle on the bike is the only thing I’ve currently upgraded as the supplied one was uncomfortable for me. It appears to be a great frame. I’ve had many compliments from other cyclists on how great the bike looks. I also do not miss using a compact chainset as I find the single chainset vs sprocket combination on this bike fine for my needs. (edited)

What’s the sizing like? I’m 6ft 2 and normally go xl but it’s saying L

I believe this is a Chain Reaction group exclusive, therefore from recollection I couldn’t find this particular colour/spec on Ridley. I’ve also registered the frame with Ridley as I think you get a 5 year warranty on the frame.

This or Canyon Grizl 6 (have one reserved)? Does anyone have any opinions?

Will the L size fit someone who’s 6ft6? (edited)

You can spend your time thinking about whatever you like.
Why it would be that I am not one to judge.

How does this groupset compare with Shimano GRX range?
    basemaster's avatar
    basemaster
Having used both I would say the GRX brake hoods are more comfortable than the SRAM but other than that both systems work well. From recollection the SRAM apex is around Shimano 105 standard. Personally I like the look of both the GRX and the SRAM and I didn’t notice much of a difference in performance in how the rear mech behaves.

I fancy one of these but can't find any reviews close to the bike, the sizing is putting me off as I am 170cm so fall between Small/Medium
