    DADS/MOMS !

    I am using this with amazon.co.uk/gp/…47/ for long enough as crib monitor

    we have also Philips baby monitor (Audio only) but we never used it as this device is awesome.

    I got this tapo with alexa echo 8 bundle - sometimes I need to repeat telling alexa show me tapo to make it fullscreen

    Thanks I came here to ask if anyone had actually used it as a baby monitor so thanks for the tip!

    With the Yi cameras you can view each of the cameras easily on your computer using the Yi software, you can't do this with Tapo cameras.

    You can view the Tapo streams over RTSP in VLC. Admittedly not as simple as having dedicated software though.

    Not a bad price. But the Tapo C210 (2K Version of this) is only £23.99 at the moment. (edited)

    Is it recommended to get a 128gb micro sd card or would a smaller one be fine? How much recording will it do before recording over itself?

    128GB = 384hrs for 2MP (1920*1080) @15fps

    Wish the app for this was better.... had old tapo stuff, decent enough cam (Until it died after a few years of 24/7 power on), but the app was awful.

    What don't you like about it? I use the model up from this with it (C210) and it seems to do everything well enough.

    Would you reckon this would be good for a fast food business. To keep a check on customer coming in and how workers are doing aswell as the back entrance?

    Unless you pay the subscription for the cloud service, storage is to an SD card in the device & these aren't yet compatible with the newer H200 hub which allows storage to a card on it. You may want to check out reviews for the new hub & the cameras that works with that.
