    amazing headphones, IMO better than bose and the xm5s my daughter has the 2 mentioned and they not even close, soundwise or comfort... £200 is a steal, trust me I use mine everyday, cannot recommend enough

    Different rather than better. Both very similar. I've used xm4s and quite liked them except for earcup size (6ft male). I'm waiting on a pair of Bose headphones now but not used before but all reviews state that they have roomier ear cups, so they could be better for me.

    All based on forums/Reddit/reviews: I'd guess sound quality side by side, xm4 would be a bit better, and lots of features in the app. Maybe some prefer touch, other buttons. Bose ANC a bit better, with better isolation for blocking mid frequency (eg speech) but both in their own league vs most other competitors.. better mic on Bose, but still not great apparently.. if looking at Bose se model, then softer case, but I think that it is only £165 with a student beans code (I have a spare).so may be better value vs £180 for xm4.

    I have had two refurbished sets from Amazon at about the £150 mark or so. Both sets were in mint condition so that's what I recommend. Battery life is not great on Bluetooth so on a long flight wire them up.
