Don’t think you can fault these headphones at this price. Had a couple of pairs of soundmagics and of course they’re not going to compete with ones at the higher end but at this price tag they’re cracking.
Yeah I was gonna ask are they harsh like the E10's. Not for me then.
I bought a pair of these on recommendation and found them lacking - very obnoxious sound profile with an abundance of harsh sibilance.
Had a quick look , what's the normal postage if spending less than £50 ? As I can only see £7.50 special delivery. .... thanks. Whoops just spotted it's £2.50.

SoundMAGIC E10C In Ear Isolating Earphones with Mic, Red £22.95 (possible £21.80) @ SoundMagic£22.95 Free P&P FreeSound Magic Headphones Deals
Shame that they don't have any "D" versions on offer (USB C connector) since most people will be using these with a phone and most phones don't have headphone jacks anymore
Yeah, I haven't seen these under £30 before! I often settle for the E10 as I tend to break earphones and I find those are more robust (not to mention cheap), but at this price I had to go for these. £25 for the non mic version is great value too.
These are excellent. I also have E80Cs which can periodically be had from this website for about this price, which is crazy. If you have a higher end player and like in ear phones then it is worth the upgrade to the E80Cs, but with my smartphone or a cheaper players I much prefer the E11C. I have no experience of the E50Cs though unfortunately, I don't think they are newer than the E11Cs.
Is the E50C a significantly better / newer version just going by the number change? Online reviews aren't very clear.
Ordered (again). These are the best in ear headphones I've ever had. I have used these non stop during lockdown, for meetings and for running.
Thanks. Purchased. The Apple headphones keep going at the base ending up with only one ear working.
Anyone got the E50C and recommend spending the £5 extra from the E10C (I need a mic or I'd even go to the E80 as reviews look great!) https://soundmagicheadphones.com/collections/on-sale/products/soundmagic-e50c-in-ear-isolating-earphones-with-mic
Good price at the moment but I paid just over £24 at the beginning of the year for the E80s and they sound much better (I have both) Also bought the ST80s for £28 and these sound better as long as you can get a good fit in your ear. It may be worth holding out buying as if anything retailers are having to drop prices now more than beginning of year b4 virus!
Heat, cheapest I've seen these. Purchased. My go to headphones for everyday listening.
You do realise I am the OP? I know these are great earphones. The point is simply that they will underperform on some USB-C devices. If you have a better onboard DAC then buy the E11C's and a dongle, they will sound better.
Why? Why complicate things? They are a great pair of headphones for the price, I bought them a few weeks ago and you're the first person I've seen try and make an issue of the DAC. They will work fine with any phone with a USB-C port. Done.
That is true but as this DAC will override any onboard, the phone\device may have a better driver so I would then opt for USB-C earphones without a DAC. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a terrible driver and thus, needs a DAC.
or lacks 3.5mm input. Hot!
Worth noting that you should only buy these if your Phone\Device does not have a suitable DAC built in already.
The discount code is still advertised but I cant get it to work :|
I snipped that wording from the Web (as I was still in bed and too lazy to go downstairs!) but glad you found it and it's working!
Thanks found it in “Devices” -> “Audio Devices”. Works now. 😁
In the PS settings select [Sound and Screen] > [Audio Output Settings] > [Output to Headphones]. The default setting is [Chat Audio] so you'll need to change it to [All Audio]. Hopefully this should do the trick (y)
How can I get them to work with the DS controller? I plugged them in and no sound was coming out, just the microphone function seemed to work. Am I missing anything?

thanks for the info. i prefer a neutral sound, not a fan of booming bass. i want to use with my android and iphone mainly. i didn't think the E10 was that bassy, but it all depended on the tips and how far in your ear you had them. i used cheap comply copies (better than the supplied tips) with the E10's and been using them a while after getting them in a deal, so was thinking an upgrade might solve the issue, plus better sound and i have the old E10's as a spare/backup. i had CX400's at one point, and had some sony IEM's after that but they got damaged and i tried the E10's thing is, if the remote isn't going to work, i may as well get the model without it, but as it's only £7.50 difference it's sometimes worth getting just in case
E10 is all about bass. E50 claims to be more about sound neutrality (uses Japanese Oxygen Free Copper wiring). E80 apparently best of both E10 & E50 (Japanese OFC wiring). E11 - a more refined version of the E10 (I think uses silver plated wiring to offer a lift to the treble). In the end I went with the E50C. Crisp, detailed mids, you can hear the various layers in the mix, and bass isn't boomy, there's enough, but not for bass aficionados. Mellowed out at the treble extremities once they've been run in. What are you going to be plugging these into? These headphones are slightly higher impedance than your average high street earphones. My E50's sound ok on my OnePlus using Blackplayer media player using the EQ, bass boost and a little tweaking of the amplifier level. Now all set to default since I got a portable amp to drive the E50C which now sound even better with. Re the question on volume control/remote control, I seem to recall that their rethink of the electronics on the C version, should allow the headphones to detect your phone. Previously they had an A/B switch on the cable to make the remote work. Hifiheadphones website has a web-chat where you could ask the question. I had a pair of OnePlus Bullets V2 (which I thought had good midrange), OnePlus Bullets Wireless, Sennheiser’s CX300S & CX400's - the E50C's outperform all of them with a much more refined approach to music. If you want dollops of bass, then maybe a pair of SoundMagic's E10 or E11 might be for you.
are these worth upgrading from the E10C's - i notice the volume control doesn't work on my new cheapo android phone but it worked on my iphone. minor niggle but as the new phone is primarily as a music player it would be handy if the remote worked. not an android expert, just getting used to it but couldn't find any settings and the music app mentioned something about android not always sending the signal to the app to work
Bought some a while a go from Amazon.. having read reviews on what hifi.. I was naffed at the sound quality when received.. am wondering if they weren't realistic fakes from China??

Soundmagic E10 in-ear earphones - Red and Blue £19.50 (extra 5% off for first time purchasers) @ Sound Magic Headphones£19.50Sound Magic Headphones Deals
UPDATE Got my EC10C earphones and am very pleased with them. Love the blue colour and the call quality / mic is great. Music is sounding really good on them and they aren't unconfortable after several hours of wearing. Best earphones I have owned. Still on offer and the extra 5% is still active.
For £5 more I have gone for the E10C model on the SoundMagic website as they are also on offer. That has the inline remote control + mic. £23.28 delivered is a good price.
These are still great and many prefer them to the newer E11's. Mine are 5+ years old. (y)
Successfully purchased a pair with the discount code; £18.53 and free postage.
Same here, years old, been used by various family members including teenagers and still going strong. Red ones too. I really like the case these come with too, just the right size and strong, using it with a pair of much more expensive earphones now.

SoundMAGIC E11D In Ear Isolating USB-C Earphones with DAC £34.50 with free UK shipping at Sound Magic Headphones£34.50£59.9942% offSound Magic Headphones Deals
I got the E10s for like £19 when they got posted at start of November too.... They are really good for under £20 to be sure, but I got some Betron BS10's for £7odds on a lightning deal (normal price £11.99) a few weeks ago and I'd rate them as highly (with a similar sound signature) so the Soundmagic's weren't the upgrade I thought they'd be.... still happy to keep them though as can't have enough spares ;)
My E80s have lasted 4 years of abuse.
Owned a pair of E10 earphones in the past and was very impressed, especially for the price. Unfortunately I lost them so decided to replace with E50 - I was less than impressed and wished had stuck with E10!
Ah yes, I went with default which was Silver... discount is showing on other models. I just found a review on YouTube which is not great, the reviewer questions all the hype about these
