Be aware they use CGNAT. Great price if they serve your area though.

If you are going to mention this, don't just scare people, explain exactly the kind of limitations. Let them make an informed decision. For day to day activities it's not a problem for ordinary users. Otherwise you able to obtain a real "white" IP address for 5£/month.

Just discovered yesterday that they're now in my area. However when I check availability the 1Gb option jumps to £60. It also says the promo code doesn't apply to this package. £40 activation too.

As my Plusnet contract ends next month I did a Uswitch compare yesterday. The Hyperoptic 150Mb Fibre came in at the best price at £19.99 a month. However just checked again and when I enter my address this also increases, this time to £35 a month. So no thanks. Checked a lot of reviews yesterday and a lot were pretty scathing. Anyone here care to share their experience with them?

Give them a call pal, I recently moved into a new build house and I was getting their £60 package when I checked my postcode online. Called them and told them I'd been posted a flyer for the June Deal and they signed me up to the 1Gbps package for £18pm (although I then added the Static IP option for an extra £5pm so it would keep my Plex server stable). Definitely worth giving them a call or dropping them an email - if you email copy and paste the flyer picture someone else has posted above.

That's a great price for the 1Gb, though unless you're wired up with some super fast SSD's, you'll probably never reach 1Gb

1Gb/s is 125MB a second at absolute peak even cheap SSD's can handle that. (edited)

No price rise during contract! Bear in mind about a fantastic opportunity to start your service up to 3 months after installation. For people who are still in contract.

50516760-Fyy7u.jpgI pay £40 a month for the 1Gbps and still think it's a good deal. Customer support has been great too.

I thought it was good till that poster made it clear that they are making us share ips with other customers nearby.

Ive had bans for posts I didn't make.. ive had issues with online banking. Ive had all sorts of issues and it does seem to stem back to their sneaky sharing of our internet.

I've been using Hyperoptic for the last year and have had absolutely no issues, great company to deal with and great speeds. I've been paying £20 for 150mb on a 12 month but I just renewed to go on a monthly rolling for £25 for 100mb as I wanted to wait for some new offers just like this.

I spoke to them on the phone and the July offers are only for new customers so I have put in my 30 days and I will take up this new deal as a new customer before it expires on August 14th. So if you're an existing customer and you want to take advantage of this deal, consider seeing if it's possible for you to cancel and then take this up since there's more than 30 days remaining on the offer.

As some people have said, they're pretty inflexible with existing customers when it comes to renewal. So don't anticipate getting any loyalty bonuses when you have to renew, they will likely quote you a higher price than you're currently paying. So I would recommend locking in the longest contract that you can if you want to keep the best price for you.

It's worth saying that they aren't exactly thrilled with this offer being so widespread lol, they were saying it's only a promotional one for new areas and whatnot. So snap it up while you can!

EDIT: In case it helps anyone out, once I cancelled my package, they contacted me and were able to instantly sign me up to the new offer from my next billing period. Very easy and worth doing. (edited)

I have this package and you will get 920Mb on a wired connection with 1ms ping and zero jitter every time.

You’ll never get close to 1gb over wifi though or at least my wifi 6 access points can’t give more than 580mb no matter what I use to receive the signal. (edited)

I have had Hyperopic for the last 5 years. Only cut out once. I did have a cut out recently, but that was due to construction workers cutting my line (physically) by pulling it and they split my cable. in the main hall.

    Best broadband ever.

I've been with Hyperopic since 2015. It's not strictly true that they don't offer deals for existing customers. For example, I'm currently in the second year of a 24 month 1gbps contract. It was £18p/m during the first year and I'm currently on £20p/m. This of course is a crazy deal and one I doubt they'll match when I come to the end of my contract...

Our road had fibre installed about 3-4 months ago, but it still doesn’t seem to be live. Every Checker I look at just said it’s unavailable. Does anyone have any personal experience of how long it took to become active?

Do you know what company installed the fibre? Did you see any names on the vans?

My fibre broadband is using BeFibre and they installed their own equipment so its not open reach and I didn't see it on any of the comparison sites.

They are finally now installing fibre in my area but only available with the bigger providers that want near enough 3x this price. Been waiting for around 5yrs only for the disappointment of the price. I have VM 500mb so can't grumble too much, but their routers are hot garbage so was really hoping to move away from them.
