I think it says somewhere on the site that you get 5 year warranty extension but can't find where, maybe someone has more info..

I was interested in the C2 last year but was put off by the reviews saying the screen was extremely reflective, making viewing it problematic during the day in a living room with windows...ie a normal room?! Is this still the case, as £800 for the 42" seems a decent biting point??
...and no, I don't want to have to draw the curtains

That's downside with oled, the screen is reflective. It all depends on where your TV is going and the direction of light from your windows and other light sources.

You ideally want no direct or indirect light shining directly on to the screen. Or you need to be able to control any light with blinds or curtains.

If that's no good for you. Then your looking at some sort of LCD (with direct LED, fald or mini led which is brighter than oled) or a qd-oled from Samsung or Sony.

Was trying this earlier in the week and couldn’t get it to work. Any tips?

For context on trying to buy a 42 inch c3. They are missing some terms on the blue light site I think. Pretty sure it must be spend level related. (edited)

I bagged a 77 C3 for £2584 this week using an NHS code, but LG have since removed themelves from the NHS discount website.

For anyone worried about using Oleds as pc monitor. I’ve been using my 55 C1 for 18 months as a monitor. Just download an app called lively wallpaper and select one of the many free animated types of wallpaper. It’s great and a lot better than a screensaver that turns off when you use the mouse. Also hide your desktop icons. Wouldn’t worry about burn in at all. Oled screens turn themselves off after 2 hours of inactivity anyway. They also go through an automated pixel clean when you turn them off. Great TV’s. (edited)

Hahaha funnily enough, I bought one of these yesterday without even noticing it on here until now. I picked up the C3 48 Inch for £960 (6LA model). What is the difference between this one and the over C3 48 Inch (OLED48C34LA). I saw the 6LA one in Costco, the box was too big for my car so went home and ordered it online for delivery next week!

I also managed to get £24.96 tracked via Topcashback at 2.12% (edited)

Is anyone else unable to apply the blue light code? I get an error message that says 'XXXXXXX Is a code that is not available on the product or is not valid.'

I've tried on a few different TV sets like C3 55/42, but no luck. I have also tried to generate a new code on BLC, but I get the same error message.

I've been on the lookout for a new TV. My wife has a BLC so got a price together for 55" LG G3 through LG website, phoned Richer sounds and they price matched 😁 included 6 year warranty and a free LG G1 soundbar. All paid for and waiting delivery.
.....no need for a BLC code just - 20% off your basket and tell them that figure.
