Just launched in the UK it seems. Won’t be to everyone’s taste but it’s a very well reviewed mechanical keyboard with clicky type keys (as you’d expect in a classic keyboard). Those super buttons can also be mapped on the fly. Overall a very decent price for a wireless/Bluetooth capable mechanical keyboard. Seems to be very popular in the US. Also available in the famicom colourway.

Included

Retro Mechanical Keyboard

Dual Super Buttons

USB Cable

2.4G Adapter

Oh damn… Would have opened my wallet for this if it had macOS keyboard layout option.

Note this keyboard is US layout only. shame as I would have taken the plunge on this otherwise

Honestly I recommend trying a US layout keyboard. I recently got the 60he and it's not too hard to get used too, I even use a UK one at work with no issues.

Plus it makes it easier to mod with new keycaps.

Fyi, there's some other wonderful hotswap mechanical keyboards that have flooded the market in the last 2 years alone (since I jumped into the hobby of custom mechanical keyboards myself).

Many nowadays are effectively artisanal prebuilt custom mechanical keyboards with all the usual modifications (sometimes even factory lubricated switches) already applied and often coming in south of £100 these days. And many are on further black friday discounts.

Stuff from the likes of Akko, epomaker/Cidoo, Royal Kludge and more.

Eg RK96, Epomaker Cidoo abm098 and rt100, and others.

8bitdo above is cool, but I feel at this point you're paying for the aesthetic rather than the package (edited)

Agree 100pc. Yeah I tried to post an epomaker deal but it got deleted. TH66 for £58 is a bargain imo. But how much would retro keyboard enthusiasts pay for these Keycaps and those two large buttons 🫣. This is still a much better deal than the trash gaming keyboards which are discounted lol (edited)

"Just launched in the UK" - without a UK Layout?

Just recieved mine after preordering it months ago. So far loving it! I want a good quality mechanical TKL keyboard (never have seen the point of a numeric pad). Pros - lovely feel, flexible connectivity including USB-C, really nice feel, previously had brown tactile keys but I'm really enjoing these. volume dial is very handy, really sturdy, two giant buttons to play with (cable just long enough to have buttons on the floor), nice feel generally on keycaps, apparently the whole switch can be replaced. Cons - no key cap lighting (minor irritation), no tilting (feet) on the keyboard, just a fixed angle, US keyboard only (but I'm happy to try getting used to it), no keycap-puller, would have been nice if the caps lock key had a built-in light, Software to program keyboard is very basic. However I think this keyboard is incredible value

It might not be the best keyboard.
    but it sure is beautiful.

    heat from me.

This is a wonderful keyboard. It has precisely the feel and noise that I require. I would kill for them to do regional versions of this. I already asked them and they said it was not in their plans. :-(

Imagine the disgust of someone who preordered this at full price

Seems over priced for what it is. There are plenty of cheap 40/60%/full sized mechanical keyboards available.

I got mine on Friday and your review is pretty spot on. I really enjoy typing on this keyboard.
One thing I struggled with was the backslash \ key just above the enter key.
To type that, press right Alt and backslash. Easy enough once I worked it out

And then big buttons, are great to press, I bound one to Ctrl + Shift + B to compile code in visual studio. So satisfying smashing that button after making code changes

Really nice and clicky keyboard to type on I think it's better than the mechanical keyboards I've had in the past with red/blue switches.

I picked one up on friday, pretty solid keyboard for the price, the only missing feature for this imo would be backlit keys and maybe the uk layout, although the layout doesn't bother me too much.

I do like having two GIANT buttons i can bind macros to.

Is there a full size version of this with number pad? I couldn't see one. Or something with similar looks?
    C0mm0d0re_K1d's avatar
I think there is only one version of this.

Not sure exactly what your looking for style, Colour and layout wise.

Have a look on eBay or Amazon for a Perixx, PERIBOARD-106 M - Wired Retro Vintage Grey/White Standard Keyboard.
