    I couldn't remember why I already receive Paramount+ for free. It will be because of my Sky movies subscription. I like Paramount+ and recommend it if free. (edited)

    Yes. I received this offer from Sky back in August (when it was free for 12 months), and cancelled the sub straight away after activating the offer.

    My account now states the following: 'Your subscription has been cancelled and your payment method will no longer be charged. You will not be able to access Paramount+ content after your billing cycle ends on 16/08/24'

    Sucks that Sky Mobile customers get treated like second class citizens. I pay them £38 a month too and don’t qualify for “gold” vip. Just “silver”.

    Upon signing up, you’ll be assigned to the Sky VIP Silver band, and will ascend to Gold, then Platinum and, ultimately, Diamond, depending on how long you retain the service. If you’ve achieved three years of uninterrupted Sky membership, you’ll be eligible for the Gold tier. If it’s eight years, you’ll be promoted to Platinum. Veterans of the Sky service that have been with the company for 15 years will obtain Diamond tier status.

    15 years. And I got was a free chocolate bar. And even then, all the codes had been used. Sky is a joke and seriously outdated. Hence why they're now doing insurance and all sorts of other "stuff".

    Thanks OP, my Mum has Sky but never watches movies so I've pinched this 7 day free trial followed by 100% discount for 6 months. Just need to cancel after the free trial ends on 5th January 2024 🏻

    I have currently got the free 6 months from sky and find the content on paramount is very limited. For example the Dora the explorer movie was on channel 4 for my children this week. I checked paramount afterwards and a movie from 2019 still wasn't on there. Top gun maverick is on there but not the original top gun.

    Haven't been able to access app for years and after numerous calls to sky they can't fix it either so no offers despite years as a VIP customer

    Done this and downloaded the app on my LG C1 tv yesterday but the app is abysmal. Laggy and the synopsis and cover art takes ages to load. Meanwhile the PQ is pretty basic.

    It won't accept my PayPal or bank card for payment details. I'm a bit stuck now

    Did the same for me (tried PayPal twice). So I just logged in via chrome (phone) browser (as credentials created before trying to pay) and it worked. Seems to be an issue within the Sky apps browser.

    Once I got into PayPal to check, 3 payments had been set up! So I deleted them all so when 6 months is up they won't be able to take anything!
