    Impressive!

Is this truly unlimited or is there a fair use policy? Could this be used in a router for home broadband?

Excellent 5g three signal in my area, I got the business deal a few months ago, same price, 240mbit download, bought a 2nd user three 5g router on ebay for £60... Nice, ideal for my office and a great backup for our home Internet, initially I used a 5g cheap 2nd user phone to tether it, worked great too.... Overall amazing deal.
  4. ansonuk1's avatar
I'm non tech - is it just a case of buying a 5g router with WiFi then sticking this SIM in and connecting your devices to it after selecting the network name & entering a password ?
    krus5's avatar
You can even use your spare android phone, put the SIM in your phone, start hotspot and that's all.
  5. Bjnwee's avatar
    A quick question.

Business plan, does that mean only for business owners?
    lokha's avatar
I ordered as a Sole Trader and the only information required is ID, but if you read my above post titled Update, to the OP, if the order is completed by speaking to the Business Team, I wasn't asked for any supporting documents. They do ask the name one is Sole Trading under and one may give any name one desires.
  6. n0chex's avatar
I also have the £3 sim and 3 told me it would just carry on @£3 per month
    fcuk's avatar
Yes both mine carry on same price, got letter saying 2 options stay on same price or recommended switch to new one exactly same package at over 4 times price :/
  7. student_saver88's avatar
Can these be turned into esim?
    student_saver88's avatar
The answer is yes they can
  8. Bendown's avatar
Got this along with the free unlimited minutes sim from sky, I have unlimited data and calls for £6 a month
    Don_Tierney's avatar
So you put two Sims in your phone, one for data one for calls? You got a link to sky deal?
  9. user072022's avatar
yours expired because it is not available anymore this deal is 24months as supposed to your deal of 12months
  10. tony70's avatar
Do you know if you can use this data sim plan for a mifi device and tether to a laptop etc?
    TwistedUnicorn's avatar
That,s exactly what it's meant for! Got this myself.. but be careful to check that 3 network works in your area.Loads of complaints by a few people on here regarding 3 network performance.
  11. hukdlr's avatar
I have signed up to the deal a couple of months ago but just curious what happens after 2 years. Does it carry on at £6/month plus the usual annual increase? (edited)
    TheUnknownTech's avatar
Yes.. My deals have run out in the last few months. They make a suggestion of a current tariff, but if you do nothing it continues at 6 quid a month.

For anyone considering using it for home broadband, a cracked screen pixel 5 or galaxy s20 works just fine and can be as low as £40 on eBay.

Connecting it to router via usb didn’t get good speeds, despite being via usb 3 port, possibly due to the cable.

A refurb Three branded 5g router from CEX got terrible speeds

In the end this usb c to Ethernet adapter with charging pass through worked perfectly to connect to the main router:

Which refurbed router are you talking about? I heard and read a lot of opinions about ZYXEL NR5103 and people are quite happy with them.
  13. user072022's avatar
Heat added signed up as sole trader I have combined this with Nokia 105 from sky to get unlimited of everything for £8.
    BonzyBuddy's avatar
    That's not really a deal
  14. blaster's avatar
Three are strict with the 5g routers and want them back if you cancel contract , that's why I bought my Huawei pro 2 from eBay , even tho three says I'm not in a 5g area so couldn't order from there web site any way , but I do get good 5g signal peaks at 480 Mbps averages 150 Mbps lowest is 50 Mbps , had it running now for over 2 years with my £3 a month sim
    Leonh's avatar
How did you get such a cheap deal?
  15. desidealhunter's avatar
    Link not working
    Sam_Fontana-Wright's avatar
    Same for me
  16. krus5's avatar
    Link doesn't work.
    alex_uk's avatar
Works on 3 network website as it’s still available and it’s not complicated rocket science to navigate to three.co.uk and select yourself (edited)
  17. Top_Bana's avatar
Had this for the sims (£3/month) for two years. It’s been fantastic
    blaster's avatar
As your 24 months ended on your £3 Sims , if so what happens do you carry on at £3 or does it go up?
  18. Adam_Mencnarowski's avatar
How about eu roaming? It’s have cap limit on eu ? Or extra fee charge ?
    Chuchi's avatar
It's not free you would need to pay the rate
  19. Paul_f1's avatar
Huawei H122-373 router is the best imo, most are locked to 3 but some are unlocked
    Chuchi's avatar
I have the Huawei CPE pro which I got from CEX for 110 - we need some deals on 5G routers!!
  20. idar21's avatar
Worst provider. Cheap but can cost you when needed the most.
Always have a message of maintenance going on whenever you check for any issues in your area.
    One word : not recommended.
    tharinduasanka's avatar
    But that’s two words
  21. BonzyBuddy's avatar
You would be stupid to get in to a 24 month contract with 3 I did it with when they launched their 5g service only good thing was I got to keep the router you can get better or similar deals through cashback and for monthly rolling
    Ferris's avatar
    What are these better deals?
  22. mldaw's avatar
Thanks OP. The order was confirmed immeditatly, and I got an email to say my order has gone through. I used my monzo business card just to be safe.
    KamalinO's avatar
Mine has also gone through without any issues, no need to provide any proof etc...
  23. lokha's avatar
Have some heat, OP, just signed up for this, as a sole trader and sent ID to their credit check dept, by email, says they will respond within 24 hours, wish me luck

three.co.uk and select business side of the website and you be able to find deal yourself
  25. Chuchi's avatar
I've been using with for a month, I get on average 100mbs which is not bad
    Bendown's avatar
Mine is pretty poor, I am hopeful once the merger goes through with vodafone it will be better
  26. Emd69's avatar
I've been using this for 6 months, had 600mbps before I moved to a different area. Right now I only got 50mbps with no 5g, pathetic
    blida251's avatar
Yes we had one and they started to throttle it and it sucked. We had 5 people with multiple devices on it and basically it was unusable.
  27. myself321's avatar
Great deal , how can they afford to offer unlimited data at this price point for business use
    thedvdmonster's avatar
They’re hoping you might use texts and calls which will bump up the costs.
  28. garbagerich's avatar
Didn't we get 2 data simsfor £6 last year. Still good deal
    fcuk's avatar
Yes it was, abit expensive now 1 for price of 2 .
  29. EndemicAlarm's avatar
I'm interested but the idea of a 2 year contract for data is not fun. Mobile service can be very changeable.
  30. horstachio's avatar
Got 2 of these few months ago, been perfect as backups on iPad and a 5g mifi
  31. harry27's avatar
Anyone that has this already? Have not been able to access account online? Sim working fine however after Setup account when send otp three website doesn't recognise the 3 tel number linked to this data sim. Support for pretty useless via chat. Not sure if it's Becuase it's a data sim?
    realfiasco's avatar
You need to click business account under where you enter phone number on login page says ‘login for business here’ will be your email address rather than phone number

Does anyone know if this will work in a draytek 4G router or does it have to be a 5g router?
    Ferris's avatar
It will work fine in a 4g router.
  35. bazclack's avatar
I guess its gone? Website now says "Missing translationId: deviceGallery.business for language: en"
  36. blaster's avatar
Both my 3 pound unlimited deals end next month and I believe increase to £24 each , will have a look at this to replace
  37. m40's avatar

    KamalinO's avatar
