    Word of warning,
I switched from Sky to ID 2 months ago.
0 customer service with everything online chat.
    Network is poor.
    5G internet is slow.
I severely regret my decision to switch to essentially save £40 a year.

Pay the extra, and stick with the big boys 🏻

ive switched from 02 to ID in past 3 months and ID signal much better in my area and internet much faster than o2 for me so guess everyone is different.

I see they use Three's network so for me that might be a good deal! (edited)

What partners does ID use in roaming to gauge how reliable is the signal abroad?

They use the same roaming partners as Three - you can see the list of roaming networks on Honest Mobile's FAQ here which is kept up to date: Honest Mobile

There is also these older threads on iD's forum 5G Roaming | Join the discussion, ask questions, share advice. (idmobile.co.uk) and What are iD Mobile's free Roaming destinations? | Join the discussion, ask questions, share advice.
However note these lists are not kept up to date - Three no longer roams on Telekom DE in Germany and therefore there's no 5G roaming there anymore, same in the Netherlands. However in France I've been able to use all 4 networks and get 5G on 3 of them, for example, which is pretty good. (edited)

If you're willing to lock in for 24 months you can get the Edge 40 with unlimited data/texts/mins for the same price

That's the whole point of SIM only monthly rolling deal.

Will this be good to use with Zyxel modem as a home broadband? Looks like the Three business deal for £6 unlimited data expired so I am looking for alternative

People do it and have mixed results, it's all dependant on where you live.

Does iDs network performance differs from Three? Some resell operators adopt a different way to data management, could slow you down.

Various people on ISPReview haven't stated a difference. It's a 1 month plan though so you can leave if you're not happy, might be best to test yourself.

Does anyone know if there's any way to switch to iD plans like these without a double port? The upgrade option in-app is offering worse an even worse deal than the person I'm doing this for is currently on!

You can't, my phone contract ended and they offered me to carry on paying £45, get a new phone, cancel my contract or port out. No option for PAYG or any other pay monthly. I ended up switching to Smarty 🤷
