Thank you for for posting the code here. The lowest price I have seen it at - the classic Nokia 8210 featured in films such as Charlie's Angels now reborn with a colour screen,4G and a whole host of modern features. With more 3G networks being switched off 4G connectivity is a good feature to have in a feature phone.

Use code LOVEFANS to get the price.

    This does not support WhatsApp.

There are a few people interested in a phone like this but with whatsapp working.

This one doesn't have WhatsApp but these do...

They have a very limited version of WhatsApp - for example no group messaging, just simple 1-1.

A MASSIVE no from me as this will not be uninstallable

Just don't use it then? I don't think you need to login into those things to use the phone. The platform is S30+ and not KaiOS (edited)

This will last as it has 4G. The possible 2G / 3G switch off dates are discussed in this article

    mobileuk.org/2g-…off

4G could be phased out 10 years from now. But many feel it will support 5G for much longer. Most of us are using 4G anyway and I find 4G more reliable than 5G and uses less energy.

Anyway about this deal. Yay reminds me of 20-25 years ago when you had a phone and the battery lasted weeks and almost no one was looking at their phone, in the cinema, on a date, at a restaurant, at friends houses, walking in the street, on top of a cooling tower etc etc.

Suspect this doesn't need a replacement elastomer, a stick-on screen protector, or an F-BUS cable for unlocking. If you were there, you know

Nokia is dead with ideas . We are in 2024 so these old model names would not attract buyers to buy nokia in 2024. Phones are not meant just for calling and text in 2024. Make a decent budget phones with decent specs to comepete with Xiaomi, realme, oppp, samung etc

HMD have announced that all future phones will be under the HMD brand, these are some of the last Nokia that will ever be produced

    Peak nostalgia!

    Is it 2003?!
    ChAdOx1's avatar
8210 was already dated in 2003. Cool kids had 8310 or 8910

Nostalgia coming back to my memories. 8210 was my 2nd phone after 3210. Those were the days before I had my hands on the Sony Ericsson K800i. (edited)

Great phone, perfect to disconnect but still be connected without the distraction and addiction forming apps / social media

Why do all these phones lack a USB-C?
    tonymx's avatar
They are designed for emerging markets, india etc - where they are using micro usb still

I knew a couple people who bought one similar to this, the initial smugness of "I'm getting my life back" before the excuses begin of why they bought a proper smartphone again.

Smartphone addiction is one helluva drug.

Loved my 8210 and 7110. Sadly the techoloy has advanced but all we have is bland rectangle devices now.
    HondaS200's avatar
I had the 7110 then the 8800 and the 8800 sirocco. Dread to think of the hours of my life spent just sliding them open and shut
  22. Rastafari's avatar
No no no no no. The Nokia 8210 is sacred and should not be reproduced.
    Masteryates's avatar
Totally agree Rastafari, the 8210 was a premium phone and it's horrible to see this cheap knock off these days. In the blue with the Orange Logo was the best looking. Upgraded to the 8310, but in many ways that phone was a downgrade.
  23. WCNM's avatar
In my culture, we call this Queen Phone, because of its super long standing-by time as the past Queen.
  24. Majo22's avatar
amazing for kids.... so they don't get addicted to games and social media
    jaffamuffin's avatar
So why would they want this then.  Using a phone as a phone is way down the list of things kids want to do with phones (edited)
  25. SaLiHuMoN's avatar

I wanted the original 8210 so badly, it was the absolute coolest little phone when it came out
Might have to buy one for old time sake
  29. Silver_Star's avatar
    I bought my mum the 3310 re-release.

She still uses, it's perfect for her, she just uses it to phone for taxis when she goes shopping.

  31. E55k's avatar
Nokia came out with some epic phones in the day
    poo222's avatar
For sure absolutely dominated. Then they thought Windows OS was the answer to smartphones, and poof, they vanished.
  32. freakstyler's avatar
Hard to believe the original came out in late 1999.  You can get the real deal for around £20-£30 refurbished on ebay in case anyone fancies a trip down memory lane.

I was always surprised they never released the 8250 here with its blue backlighting and nicer button arrangement.
    anonymouse0's avatar
    they did? I had one
  33. joshua.coghill's avatar
What’s the point of having 4g on this when it will barely be able to do anything on the internet. I get toning down smartphone use for essentials but I recon this will struggle with emails. That 48mb ram and 128mb memory isn’t going to like my 12000 email inbox. If you want a phone like this I’d just cut the smartphone aspect altogether
    Ashe's avatar
Amused, given I've just read posts on the even more basic Nokia 105 deal where some people are saying that it really should have 4G.

For what it's worth, I mostly agree. The benefit of 2G is better battery life, which is what I'd say should be the advantage of this sort of phone.
  34. 5YLH3T's avatar
Yes it has - poster has given credit to the original poster in the link you mentioned above.

Just my thoughts but I guess it shows the price you can get this phone at? I guess not everyone might go into the other link to check whereas this shows the phone/price including voucher.

Is there a prize if you complete snake on this? All those stories I heard as a kid lol
  36. silencesanctuary's avatar
Do not hesitate at this price. These will sell out at 50% off.

  38. nanals5's avatar
Does it have location on it guys I can not see weather it does or don’t thanks in advance
    Friday-Ubaydah's avatar
The user of the phone may not have the ability to geo-locate, but you can be darn sure Zuckerberg will know the user's location with the aid of his data siphoning Fakebook app preinstalled on this phone.
