Picked up for £14 on Amazon to turn on my pc for gamepass, great little device

£11 for me. Changed location to US and currency to dollars. Then changed back to UK and currency to pounds. Dropped straight down to £3.94

Where do you get the option to change the currency?

I use a lot of mini keyboards like this for work (useful for installing commercial AV kit). Always had trouble with Rii branded ones where the trackpad doesn't work correctly. Haven't used this specific model, but I'd probably avoid given experience.

What would you suggest? I'm looking for something to work with my Nvidia shield, firestick etc.

Cold for me based on this being misleading and a 'First purchase' offer.. I just had multiple order attempts cancelled and now AliExpress thinks I've used the voucher for that price..

    £11 for me as well.

I'm not happy with Aliexpress there either good and fast at delivery or take weeks and still to ship.
They gave a credit 1st time and no coupons for late delivery etc.
Re-ordered for the hell of it on the 1st Feb and 3 chats and it's still to ship.
I'm taking large jiffy bag size parcel.
Temu i've had in 5 days fast that Royal Mail and that 5 days included 2 days with Hermes and still didn't manage to lose it.

These are sometimes useful, like for setting up a TV or some other device, even if it's just for entering the wifi password.

I tried to order. It came with the headline price. But when I got to checkout it had added in delivery and vat nearly doubling price.

While still an apparent bargain Aexpress broke the trust. If they can cheat on that why should I buy if I may be in for other surprises.

    Q. Do you, or did you have an Aliexpress account already... And had made up another to appear as a NEW CUSTOMER?

I ask bcos that's what I had done... and I got the same 'price increase' at the final stage of paying for what up until then had been the welcome discount price for newbies.

I soon assumed my previously already used phone number, OR post code and/OR email address or Internet IP address had flagged me as not a new user.

I had the same and I was lucky enough to be able to add a card. So after adding the card the total was coming out correctly. I just need to double check my bank transactions over the next few days. (edited)

Can this be used with ps5?

I've always been reluctant to buy from AliExpress. I thought you get charged custom duty and you may face other issues (ie insecure site with access to your credit card)
What are peoples thoughts on this? Is it safe to shop with them as they have some amazing offers.
    Slinkeh's avatar
Absolutely fine. if you're unsure, pay with credit card and give them a fake mobile number to avoid spam calls. (edited)

It's not select accounts. It's new accounts only.

Doh got this message from ALi after completeing purchase.

We had to close this order due to account security concerns. Error Code: SC_1

Had message from paypal soon afterwards that payment had been taken of £3.95

Went through PayPal dispute as Ali had no record of refund pending or payment dispute.
    PayPal instantly processed refund. (edited)

Same here. Dug into my account: This order has been closed because you've used the same coupon/code or purchased the same discounted item under a different registered account. This is in violation of AliExpress transaction regulations. Please order again without a previously used coupon/code or discounted item. (edited)

    Dave_dave69's avatar

Did the ole convert to USD then back to GBP as outlined above and bagged it for £2.20. Noice!

Avoid AliExpress they are thief's. Took payment for this item and the site popped up with an error "We had to close this order due to account security concerns."

Chat with an agent told me I have to wait 3-20 days for a refund!
    Karamazov's avatar
Don’t see how that makes them thieves, sounds standard
