Neat price here, whiles not its lowest it is the lowest this set has been for about a year now, set due to retire at the end of the year.

Wilko has the awesome LEGO Super Mario 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System set for £209 from its £230 RRP + with code EGGSTRA knocks a further £15 off, down to £190. Worth noting not dispatched by Wilko, but a supplier (I believe Rewards & Gifts LTD is the supplier).

Set is only sold at LEGO Shop and Smyths officially, but also at Coolshop and other chains who use Rewards & Gifts as a supplier (such as The Range, House of Fraser)

Product Description (copied directly from Wilko)

  • Fun and interactive play
  • Features a handle-operated TV screen
  • Perfect for super mario game fans

Trigger nostalgic memories as you build this detailed LEGO 71374 Super Mario Nintendo Entertainment System. Classic and interactive, this is a 1980s-style television displaying the Super Mario bros game. The television has a handle-operated scrolling screen and if you scan the action brick he will react to the on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups. The system comes with 2646 pieces, a controller and an opening slot for the game pak with a realistic locking function. A perfect delight for Super Mario bros fans.

I’ve gone right through to payment, but can’t see anywhere to enter the discount code.

More expensive than the console itself!

    D4mn you!

I was tempted until you said that... you are completely right.

I also have a fully boxed version with the light gun in the loft. I could use that if I REALLY wanted to... I just don't need this.

    Phew... that was close!

    Code is £5 off £69, £7.50 off £100, £10 off £149 and guessing £15 off £200 (edited)

I'm waiting for the original SMS Lego set. Thats where my money is going. This NES set is nice stuff though!

I honestly find it hard to justify because I can just buy the actual console in pristine condition to display for half the price. Seems like a nice build though. (edited)

For anyone who’s got this built, how well does the screen crank feature work? Some reviews I’ve seen say it tends to get stuck
    jedisteel's avatar
Yeh the screen feature is hit and miss
