not much point in buying them in UK, because solar panels barely work. I have them in the front and back gardens. the front garden gets less sun and also has a shade, so it doesn't charge the camera even on the lowest setting. back garden has lots of sun and no shade, but it only manages to charge during summer, winter time there is not enough charge from the sun

Maybe it's the eufy ones, I have some Chinese brand ones from AliExpress and they worked fine through the winter in the UK.

It probably depends on how well you set the zones up and how much time you spend looking at them.

Had one of these now for a couple of weeks, got a referb from eufy eBay store (deal expired) for £54, I charged mine to 100%, put it at low level in the garden and it has charged via solar every day since. Still at 100% battery. At this price it is still a very good deal for a new camera. If I was to buy another, I would prob look for a deal on the S220 without the light, however so far, so good and fully integrates with Homebase 3 so onboard AI recognition works well.

Just curious, why would you prefer the one without the light?

damn just ordered s220 today morning. Is it worth returning it and ordering this one? only difference I can see is spotlight. Wont that kill battery much faster?

    Hi All,

is this just a standalone camera or can it also record footage somewhere/somehow?

    Many Thanks!

Have storage and will record based in the settings - person detection or motion.
Need to be connected to WiFi or own hub (WiFi works well).

The more motion detected the more footage captured. This is not 24/7 recording

Thanks - just ordered one. Worth noting they are the same price on the Eufy website but you get cashback there, making them even cheaper

How much is the cashback, and the terms? I cannot see that having just looked. Thank you.
