Anyone know finthis will improve my FPS at 4k?

    I have a 9900k and an Nvidia 4080 with 32gb ram.

I been pondering a new CPU/Mobo/ram but not sure.

Also, most games will be using DLSS as it gives a massive boost

I would expect the mins and subsequently the averages will be a decent amount higher on the 7800X3D, whilst the highs won't change too much. Entirely depends on the game / settings you are running, though.

Maybe use this as reference as the 7800X3d is usually better in most games (albeit the 4090 is 30-40% faster than 4080 -

    Brilliant price!

Just to note, I purchased this when it was 10 euros more on the last deal. They updated the dispatch time from July 10th to June 12th pretty quickly. So it may be safe to expect it earlier than it's being estimated.

If you are a casual gamer, then Ryzen 7 7700 is a better choice as the single core score is better than 7 7800X3D. Also, it's £280 amazon UK. Regular day to day task will be faster on 7700.

7700 comes with a decent AMD air cooler, and it consumes low power than its other variants. (edited)

    Depends on the game

In super optimised UE5 games then yes, but older or unoptimised games then this will win due to the v cache

Posted the deal a couple of times, if it goes out of stock again just check in an hour or so. I've cancelled the last 3 and ordered these.

I also wondered about this, I suspect it's a typo.
