About this deal

eSims are getting more and more popular, so thought i would post this with some of the best offers available, based on the 7 day 1GB EU SIM which all providers here offer. I read Lebara were going to offer this soon, so fingers crossed they hurry up, as they will offer some of the best

What is eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM card that allows you to switch between mobile networks directly through your phone's settings, without having to use a physical SIM.. It means you can stay constantly connected abroad without the risk of being hit with any nasty roaming charges or being beholden to your networks' often-pricey data plans.

BetterRoaming
  • 1GB 7 day eSim £3.29

BNESIM
  • Use code SELFLOVE for 20% off orders over 1 Euro
  • 1GB 7 day eSim 77p (Auto Renewal)

Easysim
  • Use code WELCOME10 for 10% off order
  • 1GB 7 day eSim £3.15

Gigsky
  • Free 100Mb to Europe (Via the APP only)
  • 1GB 7 Day eSim $3.39 (Via APP Only)

Montyesim

Revolut
  • Offer 100Mb free in the first month when you install an eSim
  • They offer a free 3GB if you are signed up to Ultra

Spusu

Of course, all the main networks in the UK offer eSims now, so if with them already, then no need for you to switch up, just reach out to your operator and ask to be switched to an eSim, but of course, not all offer free Roaming, which is where these new companies come in, that BNESIM for 89 cents for 1GB over 7 days of course the strongest offer here.

For those that don't have esim, you can try esim.me where they will send you a sim card that can hold up to 15 esims.
Check with the app to see if you're compatible. (edited)

what is the best sim for Turkey, just come back and it's crazy if you can't get wi-fi over there

Tried maya for Turkey, it's a bit hit and miss on reception. Bnesim was perfect but both only 4g and not 5g

Of course, all the main networks in the UK offer eSims now

Lots of MVNOs don't offer it yet, such as Lebara, Tesco, Smarty, 1p, ASDA, Talkmobile, Voxi. Those that do are O2, Voda, Three, EE, Spusu, Giffgaff, ID and Lyca.

Any advice on best esim for Jamaica, or even best sim to get just for data (edited)

BNESIM should be 30d unless they've changed it recently.

Also at the moment I think it's cheaper to get 1GB and just boost/auto boost it when you run out than it is to buy 3GB.etc

Will be in Switzerland for 1 week in July, is Spusu the best choice please? Thanks all

I went to Switzerland 2 weeks ago. Spusu (regular Sim rather than esim) worked great, no issues whatsoever. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere.
Their billing (at least on regular sim) is per calendar month which I found a bit weird.

Not sure if they still offer it but I used esim.net when in Florida last year and found it decent, you've got a data cap but it's pretty high. I think it's just an O2 business esim as it showed up as O2 in the UK before I left but just roamed to Verizon and T-Mobile in the US.

I only use and recommend esims.ai

Hi travelling to Japan in the next few days can any one recommend Me a esim plse thanks

I used nomad for a data sim in Japan and South Korea last year with good coverage. Ubigi and Airalo had competitive plans for Japan data sims. Also very common in Japan is to rent mobile Wi-Fi units

I'll be in Australia for a few weeks soon. Any recommendations? Most SIMs seem to mention plenty about EU roaming but less elsewhere

I used a 3 PAYG SIM in Australia last month successfully as it's one of their Go Roam countries

Not sure if you can get it as an esim or not but the physical SIM worked fine

Anyone a good idea for Japan? Will be there for 2 weeks but will need probably at least 10-20gb

Thank you for posting this - by using eSIMs for roaming you are increasing competition which should hopefully reduce/remove roaming fees with the big networks. The networks will be able to see you’re overseas but not paying them for roaming - if enough people do it, prices should come down. I’ve just done it in France and Spain using an EU Sim with Maya. Got super fast 5G too - over 600Mb in Paris using Orange and 700Mb over Orange in Barcelona! All for £12 for 10 days (cheaper than paying £2.47 a day with EE)
