Does anyone know if the discount applies to steak packaged from the counter that they put on the shelves? Or does it need to be packed at the counter?

I've been today, purchased some off the counter and some packed by the Butchers and put on the shelf and the discount only came off the steak I got directly from the Butchers counter

No doubt they will increase the price of steaks by 20% at 11:59 p.m. Friday for 24 hours.

I've never seen Morrisons do that? The Fish Friday offer knocks 20% off everything + whatever is on offer at that counter during the week, gets the 20% off also, pretty sure it will be the same with the steak.

The steak is always better to be got from the counter in my experience as they cut to size, so if you want a thick piece of sirloin to grill or a thin piece for Philly Cheesteak then they'll accomodate you.

It's an ongoing offer by the looks of it, so even if the steak you want, isn't on offer this week before the 20% off, it probably will be in the coming weeks

It's gone off their app and website along with the 20% off Fish Friday deal and it will have been a little sweetener at the launch of their rubbish match and more card to try and get people to return and shop there. People ain't going to return because it's the most expensive rip-off supermarket out there and their match and more card is a joke. (edited)

Unfortunately Morrison's staff can't afford to buy it even with their extra discount due to currently being on the lowest wages from any of the major supermarkets. (edited)

Morrisons ? Oh yes, the chain that pays £800m in interest per year on the loan used to acquire the company while only earning £400m in profit per year, and then wonders why customers have left in there hundreds of thousands as they continually raise their prices to become the country's most expensive supermarket....Yeah that's the one.

Isn't it likely their steak is more than 20% more expensive than say Lidls or Aldi etc anyway? Sorry bringing back the more points offers and the old jingle isn't going to make me return in a hurry until they lower their prices!

Should be good to combine with the current 25% off 6 bottles of wine promo.
