Nice spec, though at 19Kg seems a bit heavy - what's the frame made from, anyone know?

Frame: Claud Butler 6061 Hydro-Formed T6 Alloy, Multi Butted, Internal Cable Routing.

Weight is 14.9Kg according to other websites so don’t know if Costco have made a mistake (edited)

Really good bike for the money.

Looks like a good budget bike with components above the most basic entry level stuff you usually see. Mostly Shimano components (all of them better than entry level Shimano Tourney) and front forks with a lockout.
Please point everyone posting deal for Argos, SportsDirect, etc. BSOs to this as an example of what a bike looks like.

The crankset looks the same as fitted to many very cheap bikes around £100 and looks to be a basic rivetted steel chainring design. The XCT fork is almost the bottom of the range of Suntour XC forks with only the OEM XCE only fork being lower. Likely only 28mm stanchions. Overall its not terrible for the money but there is a far better Carrera mountain bike on offer for similar money with better forks and drivetrain and possibility of further discounting etc. You will also get a free service and local support for warranty work at Halfords. So personally I would definitely go for that over this.
