A fast processor makes all the difference. The new Google Tensor G2 processor was developed specially for the Pixel 7 - it gives you amazing performance, helpful features and high photo and video quality. You can touch up your photos with Pixel-specific tools like the Magic Eraser that effortlessly removes distracting objects from the photo, or the Face Unblur that fixes out-of-focus faces. Add a brilliant OLED display with vivid colours to the package and a high-capacity battery and you've got the perfect all-rounder.

Good to know

- The adaptive battery lasts over 24 hours, or up to 72 hours with Extreme Battery Saver
- Snap great photos with 50 MP triple camera or the 10.8 MP front camera with built-in flash for stunning nighttime selfies
- Record 4K videos at 60 FPS with both front and rear cameras
- The OLED display has vibrant colours thanks to HDR support, and up to 90 Hz refresh rate, so all motion from scrolling to gaming is super smooth
- With built-in Google Assistant, you can compose messages, answer calls, set alarms and so much more, with just your voice
- The Pixel 7 Pro is waterproof with IP68 certification, so you can take it with you in the shower or in the pool

Fantastic phone!!! Highly recommend the camera is brilliant... Stellar performer. This phone has been the best I've had since my Mate 20X. Camera, video, updates, size, etc etc.... I got mine for 330 used backmarket in superb condition... Then I decided to get the S24 Ultra... Use that for a week and realised I was making a mistake and a costly one. Pixel 7 Pro is as good in my book unless you want super zoom etc etc and even longer battery. Couldn't justify the £1k extra. Pixel pro all the way. Charging isn't that fast but I put it on overnight... It has stuff like circle to search that Samsung has and will get other features with the frequent pixel updates... Pure android, no skins added on top like Samsunng etc.

Totally agree. 7 Pro has been the best phone I've ever owned.

Had this since it came out on contract. It's a good phone overall but I'm noticing these days some software issues, like it just freezes up and restarts for no reason, or certain form fills go extremely slow like the whole phone's lagging, or the camera doing similar. The battery is pretty poor as well considering it has adaptive charging to preserve battery life.

By far my biggest issue though is how cheap it's become and on resale. Good for people who are buying but I broke my screen putting pressure against it digging 9 months ago. Screen replacement is extortionate and means the phone is practically scrap now. My problem, I know, but I don't have insurance and don't want to claim as excess + increased premiums + basement bin resale prices mean it's not a viable option.

I was looking at the Samsung S23 as a good alternative for £454 but it's smaller than I realised, the 7 Pro is a marginally better size but yes, I have read quite a lot of negative feedback on the 7 Pro. Kept looking around today for a deal on the 8 and 8 Pro, mainly for the seven years of updates but hopefully more reliable/less buggy phones in general, though I'm sure Google must be pretty good at patching bugs. Chunkier phones that I expected.

I've been trying to see if I could trade in my Pixel 6a for this deal but Currys online seems to offer only £70!

Got the Pixel 7 Pro from the Google store have it on offer from £849 to £699. They price matched to £424 and will also give me £115 for my old pixel 6A. So works out at £309 + old phone. (edited)

Out of curiosity, is there any reason you would choose this over a pixel 8?
    iTisYaBoiii's avatar
Price? Apart from that you'd just have to compare specs and see if you care about the difference (and shorter support lifespan)

Do they do the price match after you purchased it? Or during checkout with a code? thanks

Ot had any heat or battery issues with mine, just connection issues.... Sometimes my phone rings sometimes it doesn't..calls fail when they shouldn't...not a network fault...tried new SIM card, toggled various settings like 5g off and many others ..turn WIFI on and off and it's then ok for a day or so ???? Should be covered by Google warranty?

Hmm, any chance Amazon will match this price, given they'd open the floodgates to returns as they were selling the phone during the spring sale for £450?!

I contacted the Google Store and they said I would have to buy the phone from them at full price, wait until I physically have it in my hands and only then share the Curry's deal to, terms and conditions pending, seek a part refund, if valid. Kind of keen to avoid that but much more keen to avoid dealing with Curry's terrible customer service.
    baldchris's avatar
I contacted Amazon through web chat and they initially refused to refund the difference, but when I said I'd like to return the phone, they agreed to refund me £22.50, so close enough to being a price match for me.

This or the 8 in the Voxi deal? Heard some potential overheating issues with the 7, but obviously realise the main difference is likely to be the camera specs. Is the Pro really worth it for the camera? I hear the 8 pro doesn't have a telephoto lens.
