Even at £279 I don't think the 7A is a great purchase anymore. I've had one since last August and have been disappointed in its poor battery life and a few UI glitches. Sure, the photos are great and maybe it's a decent buy if you really care about photos, but overall if you have the budget, I think the Pixel 8, Pixel 7 or a different brand is a better buy.

Been looking for a new phone for my mam and pretty much everything is ridiculously big now, it's preposterous that the market is like this. Not everyone can hold a huge 200g phone and use it effectively. There's just some ultra cheap nokias which use such old tech as to be barely functional, and high end stuff like the zenphone which is just overkill for most people. The 7a is pretty much the smallest still manufactured phone we've found, outside of the iphone SE which is still twice as expensive.

I'm not sure how good a sim free deal this is when you can get these on contracts that work out as about £370 over two years.

Depends if you need a contract or not surely? And you may be happy with your current dim only?

Great find thanks, was just what I was after (even 10% Cashback TCB)
I wanted something with a bit of Wireless charging and a bit smaller than mainstream 6.5 inch+, couldn't find any other phone better for the price.
    williemanjaro's avatar
No, TCB is either 1% or 4%, depending if you're a new customer.

Would rather spend the extra£20 at Argos for double the storage, hence why I didn't share the pixel 7 at £379 / £329 with coupon

£279 + £3.99 delivery, excellent price, heat added. This is the cheapest that I'm aware of, except for the John Lewis mis-price a few weeks ago.

I am selling my pixel 7 pro (never used but opened) for £399. You can find a lot on eBay for that price which is a better deal.

Anybody had their £50 back yet? Credit for £50 is supposed to be credited on despatch. Mine has been despatched, but no credit yet. Might take a few days??
