Excellent deal but just be aware of temps. I've always built my own but bought a 30L last year with a 3080. It would often just reboot with no warning and the fans would go wild, the memory on the GPU was reaching 110c - I took it apart, repasted and used different thermal pads and now its quiet and runs a max of 80.

Is a 4080 going to be the same as a 3080 then?

tell us your wisdom as this looks quite good!

    CPU a potential bottleneck? (edited)

Something always has to be the bottleneck, otherwise you'd have endless power.

Out of the box one of the stickers wrapped around a cable was brushing against the middle GPU fan (three of them for the 4080 in this), causing a very unsettling grinding noise. Honestly thought I had a broken system from the get go but removed the side panel easily and just pushed the cable down a little. Problem solved. Quite a heavy system, but looks quite nice from the transparent panel. PSU is apparently from cooler master and so too is the case (design), 1200W and produces a fair bit of coil whine but to be expected really. Otherwise a quiet system.

Just grabbed this, interest free option a big plus, backed out of a Box custom pc for alot more than this last year with a 4070Ti and glad I did with them going down pretty recently. Been after a 13700k deal for a long time, hope this fits the bill.

For those of you with the cash they're also doing this beast for a decent price. 4090, I9, 64GB RAM, 3TB

Seems a good price, was looking at refurb ones of these on ebay for £1999 yesterday, they had a Ryzen edition too similar price.

    That's actually an excellent deal.

Seems like an excellent deal, so I got one! I’ll give updates concerning CPU temps. My hopes aren’t particularly high with the choice of CPU cooler though. The illustration depicts a stock cooler which would be wholly unacceptable even considering the value of this rig. But then I guess it will double up as a heater for the winter!
My bad! The CPU uses a liquid cooler, which is good. I would still at a later stage consider installing an extra fan drawing air from the top of the unit; According to owners, it makes a difference to the CPU. (edited)

I normally don't care how PCs look, but those off-centre fans...I... I... Can't unsee them.

It’s an interesting deal, I’m just deciding on a new gaming pc but I will go with the AMD ryzen 7 7800x3d CPU plus NVIDIA RTX 4080. The CPU Runs with a lot less power and slightly better performance.

Everything in this PC Is proprietary. Avoid at all costs.

OP doesn't quite know enough to realise, this is a poorly put together system, look beyond the RTX 4080 and you'll find a CPU that will lag behind and watch for your room temps to jump with this thing trying to keep up. Overall this OMEN is evil, AMEN

I have an older version of this with a 3070ti but the same case. Got it for £900 so don't feel too bad, but you need to install extra fans at the least, a beefier CPU cooler would also benefit you. This thing gets so damn hot that I was sweating while playing Starfield.
    scarface30's avatar
Is that l40 or older l30, read l40 is no where near as bad.

Having read the few negative comments re this pc, now having second thoughts and considering sending it back when it arrives. Anyone else who can chime in with advice either way.
    DevilWithin's avatar
Most of the negative feedback seems to stem from older Omen models that ran hot. I'd tally up the individual cost of the core components and compare the price then make your decision.

tbh, if approves then I wouldn't worry about it.

am thinking to buy this one. I have a concern that this pc only with 5.1 audio, any way to fully utilize if I connect to my 7.1 soundbar? anyone know how many M.2 and SATA would have for addition harddisk storage? Many thanks.

Hi Volley, I’m not sure about the 7.1 soundbar. But there is another m.2 port and 2 SATA spaces in the rear.

This configuration is no longer available on the website at the moment. So glad I grabbed it in the end.
