If you want a good connection then go with the networks directly, not the third party operators. They only sell the dregs of that service. Of course companies like EE will bleed you dry for it (and getting worse every time CPI+ 3.9% shenanigans hit)
Until Ofcom grow a backbone and slap heavy regulation on these cowboys, I'm afraid mobiles and broadband will continue to be a giant swindle.
Shame as it seems like a decent option if only it worked properly

The network is completely rubbish on EE
I need to reset my Iphone back to factory setting
Is anyone able to explain what's that about? (edited)
EE have recently switched off their 3G and that’s a guess.
I’ve been on a allegedly “dredged” 😜 low priority service from 1p Mobile and it’s virtually the same as EE.
I was with Spusu and the lack of HD calling and issues with OTP codes (mine was NHS and 7726 spam reporting) made me leave, overall their customer service was good plus speeds and coverage are identical to EE.
The dropped calls issue is mainly on eSIM, physical SIMs reportedly don’t have this problem.
Ignore mobile spot reviewers like the person a few posts up, these are usually “price first, service second” customers who blame the network for their mistakes, it’s a rolling contract so give them a try - you can always leave.
I was previously with EE and haven't noticed any difference
