About this deal

LG Counter-Depth MAX with AI F2C509GBTN1 9 kg 1200 Spin Washing Machine - Slate Grey

Info added by

When you're pushed for time, this LG washing machine's TurboWash 360 program is on hand to help. It blasts your clothes from every angle, so a 5 kg load will be ready in under 40 minutes. If you suffer from sniffles, sometimes a normal wash just won't cut it. The Steam function bathes your clothes in steam to get rid of up to 99.99% of germs, pollen and other nasties. And the AI Direct Drive analyses the weight and softness of your clothes to work out the best movement during the wash. It helps to prevent fabric damage, so you can stay in style for longer.

Good to know

- Counter-Depth MAX gives you a large 9 kg capacity but it won't stick out any further than your counter tops
- The large porthole door lets you throw in towels and bed sheets without them fighting back

I've had a few 1200rpm machines and they don't get clothes as dry as my 1400rpm. When I buy my next machine, I will want 1400 as a minimum. Also watch out for some machines only offering high spin rates on cycles which you might not want to use. Cold from me for only being 1200.

I have the 1200rpm next model up from this and clothes come out virtually dry and you can always do an extra spin if you feel they are still damp.

Awful machines. I have had 3 of the new LG ones and each one bounced around, the friction dampers and springs are badly designed

I have an old LG. I love it but it jounced around too. I use the shock absorber rubber feet about £3. Problem solved.

Have this machine, surprised clothes have come out drier than expected given the 1200rpm

It's better to look at the spin efficiency rating rather than speed

I would put any money down that this doesn’t have ‘AI’

It has AI… but why would you need AI? Which will take 4hrs to wash… standard cotton wash for 1hr or so is enough I think

I noticed a major flaw with our LG washer this week, child lock is pretty useless, locks the machine from having it's programme changed and being paused if in the middle of a wash, but the power button still works just the same, turns the machine off and ends the programme

    My Samsung is the same

Seems strange, press were so worried about AI taking over the world but manufacturers are keen to promote that most electronic products have them in built these days.

Just had to pay LG £125 to repair the door seal which randomly got torn only 3 months after purchase. They say that rubber items are not covered by warranty and are treated as wear and tear. I'll never buy any of their products again. I'm making it my mission to let people know how dodgy their products are and their business practices.

Our LG is nearly 21 still going well
