    does this only slot ont the outside of the bed or can this be attached to the wall direct

    I believe it’s just a fabric sleeve, so to mount to the wall you would need some appropriately sized MDF or an existing headboard

    Cheers op! Looking at the dimensions of Malm, this should work to convert the wooden batten type headboard on my non-Malm Ikea bed to something more comfy and solid (and less pillow-eaty)! (edited)
