Essential plan for £11.20pm, maybe less with 20% code from Student beans, though last time i checked, codes actually increased the monthly amount, so beware of that, for existing BT BB customers, however members reported being able to get these without being an existing customer, something to bare in mind, as always, factor in April increases

Plus CPI+3.9% (approx 10% total) next April and another CPI+3.9% (another 10%?) the next April so I don't think the £268 total cost can be accurate.

Remember to text ‘double data’ to 150 if you’re an EE mobile customer and have BT broadband. You get double the data for free for the length of your contract 😁
    blue22's avatar
How about plusnet broadband users, do they get the same doubling?

If you’re with EE start the PAC code process on their app but don’t go through with requesting the code. Their CS will phone you up and offer something to keep you. I got 20gb for £9pm which suited me but there were other options. This was a couple of weeks ago.

I did the same, I negotiated 4 sims for £5 each with 10gb, and my 5th line has 250gb which I just share data amongst the family

Is this really that good? I just signed up to a rolling 30day contract with idmobile for £10pm

Unlimited min and text and 150gb 5g data

ID mobile is cheap yes but I don’t think they are that good. I was previously with EE and I got 5g / 4g pretty much everywhere including the countryside. Now with ID I’m lucky to see 5g anywhere unless I’m in a big city. 4g also seems to be pretty patchy.

What's the point of going with EE when they cap your speeds at 100mbps when you can get the same coverage uncapped with 1p mobile? Also no EU roaming Vs 1p who do (edited)
    Wahooo's avatar
I don’t think it’s the same coverage though is it? It runs on the same network yes but uses different bandwidth / frequencies and only has access to some channels which results in poorer service? I left EE a few months ago for ID mobile and I’m considering going back £20 vs £8 but signal is poor. May try 1p before I go back to EE and pay more again.

Just got a retentions deal by EE as was due to run out of contract in a week. 40GB, EU roaming included at £9 pm for 12 months, no discount code needed, even though I had NHS code. (edited)

Glad I checked this deal out, I had an existing BT mobile contract with BT and renewed it today, it was going to be £10 a month with roaming, they offered me EE one for £9 a month for 20gb but no roaming, so I agreed to the BT one, after seeing this I phoned again, told them I really would like to move over to EE but the roaming charge puts me off, after the usual, 'I'll see what we can do' scenario, they said they would add this, so moved to EE for the £9 a month and roaming, happy chappy! thanks OP!

We have EE broadband and EE sim. Looking to add another sim.

They offer unlimited data and no speed cap with them so can't see any deals other than unlimited data and they are all monthly rolling.

10Mbps speed cap deal is £10

    100Mbps speed cap is £13.

My family member has £10 a month 24 months contract with no speed cap and unlimited data.

Not sure if it's possible to add another sim with same deal.. Can't see it online

Good deal, only downside is 24 months. I've not longer than 12 months for 10 years now. Went with 1p Mobile instead

Little off topic, but has anyone using an EE SIM managed to get WiFi calling working with a BT hub? Poco x3 pro......?
  23. watermelonsocks's avatar
Ooof the roaming pass is now £25?!?! When did that jump up in price
    Father.Christmas's avatar
    Just seen that. Ridiculous

I am still on my April 2020 lockdown special SIM only.
100GB data (4G only), ult data/texts, TNT sport, EU roaming
Was £10/month, now worked its way up to £12.50/month.
Would consider upgrading for 5G, but costs are just so much more now, so will stick for the moment. If current contract loses TNT (which I'm watching now) or EU roaming, I'd jump.
  25. LimeModz's avatar
Spoke to a ee rep a few days ago and was advised to wait for the Christmas deals. I was on the deal I found here 2 years ago for 160GB for £16 and the last payment was £20.01p. No speed caps.
    watermelonsocks's avatar
As in the Christmas deals will be significantly better? Do you know when they normally start?

Did this yesterday evening after reading this.
Gone from £26 to £9 a month for 30GB rather than 100GB. Unlimited texts and calls but I don't need that either.
It's officially a 1GB contract for £20 but they added on 29GB as additional add-ons and plans discounted by £11.00.
    Thanks for the advice!!

Out of curiosity, have you been locket into another 24 months contract?
