Lots of TomTom deals for navigational items at the moment but also currently you can buy a year's subscription for speed camera updates for £14.99.

This was sent to me in an email in amongst other Christmas deals so does not appear to be specific to me only.

If you sign up to a monthly subscription (£2.99 I think), sync your device then cancel, you'll still keep the camera alerts. Then just repeat once or twice a year. In practice very few fixed cameras are going to be added or removed in the space of 6-12 months and maps won't change much either.

who uses tom tom these days? google maps and apple maps are your friend for life.

I use both because I still have one of the older TomToms that came with lifetime map updates and a built in sim card for live traffic. Personally I find the travel time estimates far more accurate on the TomTom. Saves having to use my phone data too.

I recommend the Waze app
