Because recently it has been cheaper.. And as a result this not not a great deal now. Do we keep posting this as a deal everytime it changes price until it gets back up to rrp?

But it’s not prime Now

Will be same price as Prime Days or better in a few weeks as it's Black Friday coming up! 🌞 (y)

These are really good if you use prime to backup all your photos.. It does a sideshow of all your photos (or selected albums) and also time hop images

Ring Stick Up Cam Battery or wired White or Black with , Echo Show 5 Stick up solar version available for £114.00

Great - thank you

Same product, this is just bundled with the Show 5 too (seperate packages)

Great deal. I take it there is no difference between the stick up cam in this deal and the 'all new' stick up cam referred to a separate deal on its own for £59?

I think this is a great deal compared to what it would usually be. Thank you.

That's right

“Alexa, show me the kitchen camera.” This bundle includes an Echo Show 5 and a Blink Mini - everything you need for smart home security. Compact 5.5" smart display with Alexa, rea… Read more

I opted to pay for this deal via the monthly instalment option. In my Amazon orders the price is as stated, but I received an email from them with a breakdown of the instalments which works out to be a different total price - has anyone had this happen? The Blink Mini will not ship for a few weeks, therefore will I be sent an amended bill at a later date to account for that item?

Adilc , I have the blink system ( 3 external cameras) it’s a great little system if you don’t need super duper images, although it’s fairly good images. As it’s wire free it’s a bonus however if you keep the system armed constantly then this does deplete the lithium batteries. The cameras do not move with the subject, they are static so you need to position them well but they do capture a good radius. For what I need, it’s a great little system and it’s very user friendly. You can set images to saver, mid and high as well as change sensitivity settings really easily.

Ok, here's my dilemma, Blink Mini or Ring Indoor cam? Anyone have expereince with either?

Be aware that the Show 5 does not support 2 way audio with the Blink cameras, only available via the app. You can hear but not respond, which is a bit disappointing.

Ring Doorbell 3 Plus + Echo Show 5 £129 @ Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime Day Deal. I've just realised that this would be effectively £119 once you make use of the '£10 off when you spend £100' Bargain at this price.

All ring products require you to pay for the subscription to keep the recordings. Ring products are tiered in price based on features. No the non pre-roll version doesn't have the pre-roll feature and still requirs the subscription to keep your recordings (for 30days) after the trial.

Still don't quite understand. So the non pre roll doorbell has pre roll with a subscription? And a pre roll doorbell also has pre roll with a subscription? So why pay more for the pre roll models when even the cheapest model works with a subscription?

You don't lose the feature, you just won't have any recorded footage. With all the ring door bells you need to pay for the subscription, although like I said you don't have to if you don't want the recordings saved. The whole point of the pre-roll feature is that it captures recordings 3-4 seconds before the motion is triggered. The subscription enables you to have the recordings saved and also some other benefits.

Hmmm. You lose the pre roll once the free trial ends? So what is the point of paying extra for the pre roll version if you lose its features without a subscription?

You will need the subscription if you want to save all your recordings, otherwise when the trial ends you will lose them and it will just be a doorbell, If that is all you wanted it for.

Is anyone else having an issue with the LIFX bulb? Mine keeps disconnecting from the LIFX cloud which means alexa can't find it

This Amazon Prime day is a failure, I didn’t see any real discounts instead of clearing old stock. Fortunately I didn’t order any ;)

Always thought I'd like to try the Echo dot but my paranoia prevents me.

Bought Echo Dot, wise decision I guess! it meets my needs very well. Neat bit of kit.

I have a few echo dots in my house and was going to add one. What's annoying though is when I call her to use say in livingroom, the kids close by bedroom one goes off as well. Is there any way it only picks up on 1 that I'm trying to use?

Buy the 8, much better sound!

All these Echo models... what's the difference between 5 and 8? Just the screen size? It's been a long day and my head hurts but I want one with a screen so I can view the baby monitor/Alexa compatible camera we've just got.

No, it has a light sensor and turns the numbers a very dim orange and by dim I mean it throws no light into the room at all and you can roll over and look at it without burning your retinas or even really waking up. Got one of these literally just to add a visual clock function and it works far better than expected.

I'm tempted to do the same for lockdown Xmas dinner. Do you know if you can multi-screen? ie If we have one on our table then grandparents have one, and I get one for other relatives too - so we can all have a virtual xmas dinner together? Otherwise it's just zoom/laptops I suppose.

Please can you explain further 😃
