Anyone got it delivered? I've placed order last Friday, still didn't get it

I bought them from Amazon.. did some checks to see they were real.. they are and they are actually pretty neat! I expected them to be rubbish.. sound good and look good. Likem.

Anyone know the cheapest but decent ones with noise cancellation? I don't like in ear phones so wouldn't want to spend much. But appreciate my massive noise cancelling Plantronics are quite bulky and heavy when going out. Have some wired bose QC25 ones at the office - not sure if / when I'll see them again :) But you can get a bluetooth adapter for them too but I'm not sure how good they are too!

I have had a pair of these for over a year and have not had a problem with them, they still hold about 4 hours charge in the earphones at a time (then you charge in the case which can charge them just over 3 times)

So many earphones I don't know what to get! Are these worse than the Edifiers?

Sound much better than I expected. These are the new ones as they don't have the rubber casing. No chinese language voices and they pair instantly.. no drop outs.. sync is perfect. Downsides are.. little hard to get out of the case and battery life. I love them though. I ended up putting my nice sony buds on the end of these and the sound was even better.. noice.

I don't think this is correct. I think they're 2 separate products. I'll wait for Redmi ones. Cheers though

Apparently the chinese version say redmi and the global (inc. hk) say mi They are the same thing though.

Quickest I’ve ever got an item from AliExpress was 3weeks and longest delivery was 6weeks.Some deals for QCY on EBay might be quicker.

I think they are pretty good and think they have a better bass than the airdots. However, there are plenty of audiophiles on these threads that slate all of these - my expectations were limited but I cant think that 100 quid buds would sound much better to my ears. Using for calls ect Im sure you get what you pay for.

Within a month in my experience - sometimes 2-3 weeks sometime 5-6weeks. Gearbest can be similar price and a bit quicker maybe

I'm still after a pair for my son, but need them quite quickly - these are probably going to take several months to turn up aren't they?

Anyone experience buzzing during calls with these earbuds? I just got mine in today, and when I make calls, the other person hears buzzing.

MyMemory only sell the Airdots

A lot of the photos on the reviews of this one show Mi True Wireless instead of Redmi Airdots and a couple of reviews say they got the wrong ones, also the products details state 4hrs battery when @MrSwitch deal shows 6hrs. Confusing.

Agreed. It was worth a punt for 9 quid odd. I'll just use them for podcasts and stuff where audio quality isn't important, and use my wired AKGs when I want decent quality.

Yes, I think this is one of those occasions where you get what you pay for.

I have mine in right now. Took over 10 mins of repeated attempts to get them both to connect. Now I'm listening to one of my favourite albums (which I know damn well is mixed right) and it sounds like a bad live recording.

Just in case it’s of interest bought these on amazon, arrived today, thought they had sent the wrong item. They actually make a Global version of the that product which Xiaomi produce. These are made in license so likely to be pants. Xiaomi mi AirDots are legit Redmi are produced on license By luck I’ve received the Xiaomi Version

I got this last week to replace some wireless Zolo Liberty earphones that I broke. Delivery was super quick. So far I've found they to be great and well worth the money. I use them running and they stay in my ears well and the audio is fine. I mainly listen to podcasts on them but music has sounded fine on them too. They connect quickly and also disconnect quickly when you put them in the case (my Anker ones had an issue with this). I've noticed sound dropping in 1 ear for 1-2 seconds while running but so far that has been an isolated case.

Got these from my memory last time. Fast delivery. Had no drop outs but not used for heavy music. Watching YouTube all fine no sync issues. Decent for the budget price.

Agreed - I got the Airdots in the recent thread from MyMemory@19.99 and quite a few of us posted we were unhappy with sound quality which is shrill and tinny. I bought the Haylou GT2 for £3.50 less, and they sound better and also don't suffer from drop-outs I was getting.

Haylou GT1/GT2 are decent alternatives

I also see the Tronsmart Spunky Pro are £19.20 on Amazon with a voucher. Decisions!

Ive had these for a while and they're very good for me. Sound quality is good, and connection is mostly good but has had a few funny moments. I get about 5 hours use before needing a charge. My only issue is the number of fakes on the market, hard to recommend when it's a gamble if you get a proper one!

Cheers, I read the thread about the tronsmart but was put off by multiple people saying their charging cradle died. They would've been spot on but I can't imagine that there's much warranty with a site like geek buying is there?

I have the Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic which I think are a different brand but essentially exactly the same as these. I paid GBP20 from mymemory (deal posted on here) a few months ago. For the money they are very impressive sound wise. Battery life of the buds is around 5 hours which is OK for me. Two things that are not great are they are hard to get out of the case, and as others have mentioned, the connection quality is spotty. Sometimes the range is good and sometimes it is really bad (in a pocket for example). Very inconsistent, but for GBP20 I think they are good value. Oh yeah, the left and right symbol is hard to see too.

Quick update: Got mine today and I'm impressed so far, the sound is nice, tested the microphone had a long conversation with Lenovo support and was quite amazed but how clear the sound was. Also my father could hear me clearly without additional noises. It seems I got the real Xiaomi, serial number it's on earphones, original eartips and box , I followed this guy here to check mines

Can you charge Onyx buds in Spunky Beats case?

On my second pair. I used a rated charger only. Still fried the case within 24hrs. On the Spunky Beats, which are essentially the same as the Neo Onyx. They have a highly modified charging case.

Did you use max 500mA charger? That might be a catch but still a product that shouldn't be on shelves.

(Ref: Tronsmart neo onyx) Correct. My first case lasted 5-days. The 2nd case lasted 24hrs. Then managed to get my money back. These earbuds are great. The overall product is junk though. As the case will fail.

The Haylou are really impressive!. Patchy connection at times but given the price...!. Are these better?.

Personally I think the Tronsmart Spunky Beats are the best budget ear buds for £20 or a little more and I've tried a good few.

Not always true. Mine were direct from Xiaomi store and had Mi on the case. They said these are the International ones. The Redmi branded case are Chinese.

I had the basic airdots and to be honest, they were brilliant! Should have kept them.

I love mine, the sound quality is great. Zero distortion even at very high volume. I've never had in issue with them not charging and although they do run out after a few hours i don't tend to listen to them for more than an hour or two at a time. They are so light and such a good fit for me that i can almost forget I'm wearing them. For me that outweighs the battery issue but i guess it's down personal preference and how you use them.

I personally wouldn't bother with these. Battery life is not good (3hr, 10hr with case, most competitors are around double) And right earphone seems to drain faster than the left and sometimes doesn't charge when put back in the case.

No worries man, 90hz is nice, but currently only on a few select phones, maybe wait a few weeks for the new wave.

I did look at the P30 Pro as it has the IR blaster and it was on the awesome O2 refresh deal (I'm sure it was you who posted it). It didn't have the 90hz refresh which seems pretty awesome on some of the phones I've seen so I didn't make the move for it (sort of wish I did now though especially for the price). Pretty much everything that Xiaomi, Oneplus, Huawei and Oppo are offering. Ideally would like an IR blaster on it (which the Oneplus 7 doesn't have). Never knew how much I'd miss it from when I went from the S5 to the S6. Nothing better than being in the pub, it's packed, the footy is on, someone is about to score and then I hide my phone and knock the telly off (lol)

I've tried 2 pairs of MPOW and have to agree they are great when they work. No issues with pairing but every so often the interference is annoying.

have the same issue in the gym, left one cuts out all the time whilst listening to music, also they seem to loose balance as well... a bit annoying having to reset them constantly.

Has anyone else received theirs yet? As someone who got caught with fakes on the gearbest deal, I've inspected them carefully. The cardboard box looks OK, the id is on each earbud, the lid opens to 90 degrees,and the silicone is translucent. Unfortunately the text under the case is white and clear, and the right and left side indicator look embossed. I don't want to try them as they're for someone else, but can anyone who knows more about them let me know what they received

I got the mpow ones for my wife. They cost a bit more but I kept reading that they were the best. They sound great and when they work they are great but they keep not working! She has to delete them from the Bluetooth settings and reconnect to get them working again. Once working they work perfectly for that session but when she comes to use them a few days later she has to pair them again. Using an mi A1. I might try a pair of these to see if they work better on the connectivity side of things with them both being the same make.

Yes, and if you press one of the buds twice it activates Google assistant so you can ask to change volume, play another song or even ask about the weather ...

I'm in the same boat as you, finding it difficult to find a genuine trust worthy seller of these air dots, it's a shame because the real ones are a great product. Gearbest refunded me quite quickly in the end too.

I bought two pairs, they don't display charge lights correctly and only one earpiece works and then is inconsistent. Obviously fakes as build quality is abysmal. Raised a ticket with Gearbest and to be fair they have refunded within a week with no quibble. I've bought a lot of stuff from Gearbest in the past - this will be the last time , these were for gifts and now I have to quickly find some genuine items.

Ok, bouncing into this one again. Great earbuds, for me a lousy fit because I am one ugly flapper. When they are in properly they are great, never had a disconnect in 6 months or so, bass good and volume more than adequate. If you trust the seller a good buy, even though not perfect for me. Still find it bizarre that companies will copy sub-prime products (no offence Xiaomi) could hardly be worth it???

Mines the same if I slightly move my head it disconnects. Yours will be fakes no question about it. There's also a Reddit on the subject. The only place I'd buy these from is the official Xiaomi store.

True but I've been through 10 sets of various cheaper ones and they all had flaws. Even brought the Lypertek Tevi's but the range is terrible. The Bluetooth disconnects if the phone is a meter away!

I recently got the CN ones from gearbest and they have been not too great. It's the first time I've been disappointed in a Xiaomi product. the sound is okay but they keep losing the connection and cutting out no matter which pocket my phone is in (even the chest pocket on my jacket). I use them mainly for listening to audiobooks and podcasts so keep loosing track of whats happening! I imagine I've just been unlucky as I couldn't find anything from googling.

Just funny how there isn’t actually any kind of noise cancelling feature. It’s just an ordinary headphone and they say noise cancelling. Like i could just talk to you and call myself noise cancelling cos i’m distracting you from other noise. But i wouldn’t advertise myself for it as a feature! I’ve gone for totally unbranded £7 delivered instead.

They do not compare to true noise cancelling, but for £13 delivered their far better than the apple AirPods for blocking out annoying 3rd party train conversations and even better for keeping sound in... as opposed to hearing someone’s else’s rubbish taste in music... aka sound leakage. Make sure you change the earbuds....

I found these keep falling out of my ears and needed a tinker with the equaliser to have a full sound.
