sorted byexcept when the microwave gives up at two years and one day, JL will say it only has 2 year warranty (even though JL holds the statutory quality and durability obligations for 6 years).

Apart from the price, my main reason for buying this particular model was the two year warranty and the stainless steel interior; I don't think I'll really use the combi or grill functions but unless you buy a commercial microwave none of the standard microwaves have stainless steel interiors anymore, and even some of the Panasonic combis don't.
I'll have to say that for basic functions the menu is fine, but compared to the Sharp it is poor if using the auto menu - are we really expected to keep the manual and remember that H4 is for frozen onion rings!!! Since I have no intention of using the auto menus this isn't an issue for me but I thought I would mention this.
