Product details

The Smooth & Bright Set is a comprehensive set of formulas offering a holistic approach to healthy-looking skin.

The Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a universal serum for blemish-prone skin that boosts skin brightness, improves skin smoothness, and reinforces the skin barrier over time. It contains a high 10% concentration of niacinamide (vitamin b3), plus Zinc PCA. The Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is a hydrating serum that smoothes and plumps, while targeting the appearance of wrinkles and textural irregularities. It combines low, medium and high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid molecules and a next-generation HA crosspolymer to support hydration to multiple layers of the skin while strengthening the skin barrier.

The Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG is a depuffing solution for tired eyes. It reduces the look of puffiness and dark circles in the eye contour, by combining a high concentration of caffeine with a highly-purified epigallocatechin gallatyl glucoside (EGCG).

The Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is a cream moisturizer that works with your skin to support the skin barrier, and strengthen it with regular use. It uses a collection of ingredients that appear naturally in your skin, such as amino acids, urea, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid, keeping the outer layer of skin protected and well hydrated without feeling greasy.

Finally, the Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is a clay-based masque that targets lacklustre tone and textural irregularities, giving way to softer, smoother and more radiant skin . This deeply cleansing masque utilises salicylic acid, a lipophilic BHA known to target pore congestion, as well as clay and charcoal that help absorb facial impurities that would otherwise clog pores.

Salicylic Acid 2% Masque
Use once or twice a week, ideally in the evening, on thoroughly clean, dry skin. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across the face using fingertips. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Patch testing prior to use is advised: Apply the product as directed to a small area once a day for three days to test if you are sensitive to this product. If you develop irritation, hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficulty breathing, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician right away. Keep out of reach of children. Sunburn Alert: This product contains a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

this is a good deal, though it comes round every year and last year was £25.

    re the price:

    Saliyclic Acid 2% Masque 100ml £22.70 (exfoliator)
Moisturizing Factors HA 100ml £9.90 (moisturizer)
    Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 60ml £9 (face)
    HA 2% + B5 60ml £13.90 (face)
    Caffeine 5% + EGCG 30ml £7.90 (eyes)

So the discount is pretty much real

Am I correct that you apply all these three one after another:

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG? Then Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA after.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to skin care. Thanks.

Can do, but wouldn't use that routine on daily basis. It will depend on the type of your skin, etc. Try theordinary.com/en-…tml

I get really annoying pimples only on my nose and in the nasal folds. Would any of these products help?
    CheapChelsea's avatar
It depends on what's causing them but niacinamide is good for regulating oil and reducing pores and salicylic acid is good for unclogging pores so it would be perfect to try but give it a month or two to work properly, sometimes you don't see results straight away but I've been using the ordinary for years and it's gotten rid of my stubborn blackheads

What order would you use this stuff? Ik that makes a difference right?
    cu3ed's avatar
DOnt use them all at the same time...escpeclly fist time, soem things might be a bit strong for the skin and can cause a slight redness to the face. Niacinamide Is very balenced and I use it every night, as the caffine dop for the eyes. Moisturiser goes last as it kinda helps seal it all in.

This any good for acne or blemish prone skin? (edited)
    cu3ed's avatar
Very much so, Niacinamide is good at helping blemish and evening skin tone an dredices pores a little.
Saliyclic Acid does some deeper work at helping prevent spots as its breaks up the clogged pores, those this take a longer time to see any noticable effects.

Just ordered to try and clear up the remains of postpartum/hormonal acne. Diet changes have helped a lot (mainly cutting out sugar) but hoping this will clear up the rest!

Does anyone know roughly how long this set will last before needing to buy more? 1 month? 6 months? Just curious…
    kinnth's avatar
3 months + The double moisturiser might even push it to 6 months imo.

Thanks, Used code NEWAPP10 for 10% off - need to have an advantage card (free to sign up for), website I found it on suggested first purchase on app only but worth trying perhaps anyway (edited)

Don't really rate ordinary products, I do use their Azeliac acid but I buy it of eBay for a fraction of the price.
    Jarrodrstrachan's avatar
Is it the real stuff though?

Thanks OP, I've ordered to try out as well, looking forward to using the different products. Cheaper than buying a few individually which is what I was going to do before seeing this.

Is this good for a dry, flaky face? My skin's been terrible recently!
    Anonymous_T's avatar
Yeah but id only use 2 of those items. Hydraulic acid will help retain moisture, but I'd use the big pump bottle moisturizer instead of the one here. I also find latic acid 10% helps reduce flakyness as its a mild chemical exfoliator altho you dont really need it daily.
  18. yumsymumsy101's avatar
Thanks op, going to give it a go. Would it be any good for a teenager, or a bit much on young skin?
    Swift2018's avatar
My daughter uses my ordinary cleanser and moisturiser, I have let her use the Niacinamide formula just on the breakouts she has...was also worried that it would be too harsh on her young skin...any opinions please?

Still haven’t opened mine from last year, will start using now the colder weather and central heating is coming - just be aware the shelf life once opened is usually only 3-6 months so use it constantly.
    Lil6ix's avatar
Lol what does cold weather and central heating have to do with anything? (edited)
