Can extra ram be added? I need 32gb+ How does this compare to an i5 10300h Mine has to be run at max performance and freezes occasionally since i bought it.

The manufacturer says 16GB max so I'd look elsewhere

The spec looks similar to the £299 ASUS OLED laptop deal at Argos. But it has a 512GB SSD instead of 256GB SSD.

I'm not sure if its worth an extra £100 unless maybe if its upgradeable.

The CPU in this is far more powerful than the Argos deal, that was a Vivobook Go if it's the one I am thinking of, that was a cheap, basic laptop with no expansion. The Vivobook 15X is a better all-round, faster machine and it is expandable:

Core i3 and they say that only the i5 up has Intel XE graphics so it must have a lesser integrated chip

Intel integrates an Intel Xe-based graphics unit in Alder Lake. The 1220P has 64 of the 96 EUs enabled and clocks at up to 1.1 GHz.

The 1250P has 80 of the 96 EUs enabled and clocks at up to 1.3 GHz. (edited)

Are you sure it's the same laptop?
This one is X1503ZA but NBcheck reviewed M1503QA.
ASUS is very confusing with their model names..
I'm in the market for a laptop with long battery life and good 14" (or larger) screen for a student.
This one ticks many of my boxes but I expected its screen to be not worse than of that one.

This one is all about the screen, the 8GB soldered RAM may put people off but it has a spare DIMM slot so you can upgrade it.
SSD is upgradable too as it's in an M.2 slot.

Not a bad price considering that. Ordered a Dell a couple of days ago so at least I don't have to choose between them.

I went with the Dell for £344 as I really wanted another touchscreen, even though it's only a VA panel (still better than the poor TN/IPS panels many of the cheaper laptops come with).
    This one -

It also has 2 DIMM slots and an M.2 slot. (edited)
