Finally a deal for those who are with EE for broadband and not BT.
4265526_1.jpg
EE are offering a £20 per month discount on unlimited 30 day rolling SIM only plans and another 30% off any additional SIMs. For example -- I went for the middle option (£13 per month for up to 100Mbps unlimited plan my main SIM), with the option to add another secondary SIM with an identical allowance at £10 per month. The best part is, the contracts are 30 day rolling -- so do not get affected by yearly RPI price increases and I had 2 of EE's customer service reps confirm this over the phone.

Best deal I've seen from them so far.

For non EE broadband customers, you can get uncapped and unlimited data EE sims through on Amazon. 15 months is £200 up front, 17 months is £230 up front and 21 months is £280 months up front. Won't be subject to annual price hikes as paid up front.

I get 600mbps 5g through EE so I currently use one bought last black Friday as my house broadband connected to a 5g router with a deco mesh network sending the signal throughout the house. Brilliant IMO and a much cheaper way of getting high speed broadband. (edited)

Too expensive for me I pay £12 unlimited on Voxi glitch but have seen EE on Amazon and would consider if Voxi stops.

This is for existing broadband customers only?

No it's not, sorry -- I realised I worded it badly, updated now. New broadband customers can also use this offer, but you have to start both the broadband and SIM plans together to get the discount if that makes sense. Just make sure that if you're calling them to get this deal, speak to their broadband guys first -- you'll need to set up the broadband contract first and then the SIM. (edited)

I rang them 3 times trying to negotiate a deal after my term ended and just wanted a price match, and no matter who I spoke to or what I tried, they refused. Now, they bring this out lower than what I asked. F U EE. Won't be returning.

That sucks -- I've had the same happen to me also to be fair. I noticed if you ring up their "upgrade" people at the end of your contract, they don't seem to offer their better deals. Due to this, I would recommend calling up and always choosing their "thinking of leaving us" option -- you get much more helpful people.

I'm usually just happy to have a decent speed to stream music but 10mbps is bad. I get around 48mbps on a crappy 4g signal with Voxi at the moment and I suspect that would go up once I get in to a 5G area.

    Maybe they're targeting a younger market ?
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar

I agree - I wouldn't go for anything less than 100Mbps, even on my old 4G phone (price difference is way too small). I think they're targeting people with smaller low-res display phones to go for that plan, like the iPhone SEs, etc -- who would only stream music and some YouTube (which would usually default to a low res anyway, at least for free users). Virgin Media throttles constantly during peak times from my experience -- EE doesn't. You get what you pay for with Virgin Media.

10Mbps is terrible but 100Mbps for £13 is a bargain and quick enough speeds for most. I have 100Mbps broadband and never notice any lag or stuttering. I wouldn't bother personally with uncapped for £19 - you probably won't notice a difference.
  7. anouj's avatar
Everyone saying this is a bargain but 1p mobile is £10pm for 25gb and includes eu roaming, wifi calling, volte, runs on the EE network and has unrestricted speeds.
    hicks12's avatar
It depends how you use your phone, I swapped from three to 1p as my contract ended.

25gb if used at 10mb/s can be used up in 6 hours, if you are constantly streaming high bitrate content then it can go fast over the month.

Ideally I wouldn't want that cap because the way I use it and a lot of others would is in burst request so loading websites and initial buffering of videos will be a lot better on an unrestricted network.

EE direct feels a bit silly price wise compared to everyone else. Dislike their business practice of throttling 5g to LESS THAN 3g haha.

capped speeds? nah, they can go screw themselves. vote with your money people. don’t let them get away with this crap.
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar
    Author
Well in my case, I'm in a rural area where I can't get much more than 100-120Mbps or so and their speed cap doesn't seem to be working on my up to 100Mbps plan (never has worked from what I could tell, as I've been on the same up to 100Mbps plan for 2 years before that). I still got almost 300Mbps in town centre, so not sure how exactly they enforce their cap (if at all) -- I can't complain on that basis.

You can ring them to get this deal - I did that yesterday (before it went live on their website), worked fine for me.
  10. jameshothothot's avatar
Does anyone know if this includes roaming? As would get this for my son... If their website worked for me
    Optimus_Toaster's avatar
It does not. 1p does (also on EE with no caps or other restrictions)
  11. Looks4deals's avatar
Thanks OP I just rang them and got an unlimited SIM for everything for £18.00.

No I'm not an existing EE broadband customer. (edited)

    Rubbish customer service from EE
    POOR COVERAGE
  13. wilburscoville9191's avatar
I'm eligible for this. However only last week I ported across from EE to 1p Mobile.wjomiae EE network. 25gb for £10 with no speed cap and free EU roaming and no contract. Don't think it's worth moving back. Good deal though. (edited)

I'm paying 20 a month for an unlimited data sim can I get the ₤13 if I don't havee EE broadband. Confused.
    Animal5865's avatar
    No
  15. Hustler1337's avatar
Is this purely a data sim or does this include minutes and texts? Thanks
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar

Includes minutes and texts, both are unlimited on all plans.

I'm a EE Full Fibre customer and have a mobile contract ending in Jan. Rang to try the offer and the chap said the deal was for new EE broadband customers only. Annoying. Only thing they could offer me was Unlimited Sim @ 100mbps 12 month contract for 18 quid.
    Jin_06's avatar
As an EE mobile only customer, I get 45GB @ 100mbps on a 24-month SIMO contract for £20 a month, and that's when i've been with them on mobile for 5 years, that's the best they could offer me, maybe worth asking to be put through retentions?
  17. Skie's avatar
    EEs site is so broken.

    Want this deal? Log in!
logged in and it takes you back to the start with no deal. Try to add a valid sim, go to checkout ‘existing customer? Log in!’
takes you back to the start and out of the checkout. (edited)

Yeah I have broadband and mobile with them and just go in a loop with them. Will try this after Xmas. Didn't work on black Friday for me with them.
  18. Smithers37's avatar
EE is a great network but no way am I paying £10 a month without a handset, let alone for a low speed.
    R8isGr8M8's avatar
In what world do you get a phone and SIM contract for anywhere close to £10 a month??
  19. vs_'s avatar
EE are garbage! Since BT got them they became worst. They have breaches all the time. You will end up paying around 10-11% more from March.
Use anyone else to put them under pressure. One person at a time. 5 lines from EE being moved
  20. BargainHunta96's avatar
How's this hot? 10Mbps? What a joke! Why do they cap speeds in 2023? Their prices are already high compared to their competitors.
    Cameron583's avatar
It’s a clever way to get lots of people to sign up without introducing much congestion.

You could have 10 people downloading at 10Mbps vs just the one
  21. rashk's avatar
I was with EE on a two-year contract. Rental at the signup was £12 ( 128 GB data and uncapped speeds), which jumped to £18 in March. I had EE perks and a multi-sim discount. I spoke to their upgrades team, who offered to keep the price plan at £18 for the next two years, subject to RPI adjustments. I took out a PAC code and was offered the same plan for £15 however, they applied a speed cap of 100 Mbps. I chose to exit EE for VOXI. EE are ridiculously expensive. (edited)

I can't wait to leave EE next month . Signal is woeful and has been the past 3 years for me . Living in the central belt of Scotland and travelling between Glasgow and Edinburgh it's just so inconsistent. This 5g thingy that they all speak about is somewhere apparently...it's similar to the loch Ness monster , folks swear they have spotted it time to time ! :/
    R0BUST's avatar
I find EE to have terrible signal in the South East so it’s not any better here. They’re customer service is good but that’s about it. Every time I call up they say another mast is down. (edited)
  23. Cameron583's avatar
A bit deceptive to say it’s unlimited data, when they’re imposing a speed restriction on the sim, hence limiting the amount of data you can download.

I understand it’s “download as much as you want at 10Mbps”, but it’s not technically unlimited

Too many users on their network to enjoy their network at major events such as football.
    jamie15's avatar
You will find that issue with all networks depending on the location, EE is probably the least worst for congestion (edited)

For the past 8 months this is what i have been doing; Requested pac code from Vodafone to close £37 contract, got smarty at £15 for my personal phone number and lyca which is EE as esim backup at £3, use that as junk no for companies and web sites and i am very happy with it so far. Vodafone was for roaming which now i use best e travel sim to get an e sim when travelling. All this works out cheaper still to £19, i wouldn’t want any restrictions on speed. 51789513-DgI7V.jpg51789513-51pHn.jpg

New roaming add on charges at £25 a trip is an absolute joke. Changes the balance of the whole deal for us. Looking for an alternative to Ee for 20-50gb a month for £10-15.
    Nawelli's avatar
I got the 02 last month on here for £8 for 40gb, including international roaming and unlimited calls and texts. But because I am with Virgin, they doubled my data to 80gb and increased my international roaming allowance.

Lol London or canary wharf and three or o2 is not good, but it's saying it is. Take it with a pinch of salt. Best way is the network that works for you find out the bands they support, then any network that supports those bands will be good in your area.
  28. Gamer903's avatar
I just got Unlimited calls and texts and 20gb data on ee for £9 lol
    Fien's avatar
How’d you get that price? I don’t need the unlimited data so better to save a few quid
  29. TECHSPEC's avatar
EE are finally lowering prices. I got unlimited everything for £17pm.

    Thats without broadband

£13 That's more than I pay for both at home on Voxi.
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar
    Author
Voxi is £30 per month just for an unlimited SIM -- so no, not even close. Unless you mean their "unlimited social" plan that only has 30GB but unlimited data for social media, etc -- in which case, it's not even remotely comparable to this deal. Especially as that's on Vodafone's network, which is terrible.

EE are great, but as always you won’t hear from the people who are happy

I'm happy with EE, just worth waiting for a good deal
  32. OhTheMajesty's avatar
Yeah you have to have their broadband...ergo you are unlikely to use much of that unlimited data
    jameshothothot's avatar
though if you have kids at uni etc they could use it and get enough speed on 10mbs for 1080p netflix etc
  33. anonannbarr's avatar
600 GB Fast Speed Cap If you don' t download much, should be fine.
    TheFatGrandma's avatar

Not bad but there broadband prices seem £10pm more then most providers.

So you're saying the 10mpbs package is free elsewhere?
  36. izzy25's avatar
EE " no 1 network for one hundred yeras" !
When you are the only one saying about yourself you are no1.... says everything.
Cheap quality network. That should be more accurate.
  37. Uumode's avatar
At 10Mps it's probably the slowest network. Though in reality web browsing and emails should suffice for 90% of use cases.

But at the normal price of £30 pm for 10Mbps service that really sucks.
  38. daniel.millssI4's avatar
No thanks. I'll stick with the Smarty unlimited sim for £15.
  39. TechnoDonkey's avatar
Sadly the only reason I would be buying this SIM would be to use it in a 5G hub

This worked for me just now - speaking with online chat they offered uncapped (and unlimited) data for £13 a month. As a BT Fibre customer, I also renewed my 2yr contract with them, but merged over to EE at the same time. All done through BTs online customer support chat.
