Not bad for like new i think, you may get away with cancelling the first month, but my advice is just to pay it, and cancel for your 2nd month, credit check is involved here, so bare this in mind

sorted byLike New devices aren’t brand new, but they're not far off. The only difference is that they may have some wear and tear and superficial scratches, but there’ll be no more than five deep scratches or chips up to 2mm in length..
Wow, Ebay definition of like new is not the same as O2...
And you have no idea how much battery degradation there already is...
What is a refurbished phone? Our refurbished range are devices that have been traded in with O2 Recycle or returned to us within 14 days. (edited)
with code NCL7JD
o2.co.uk/sho…new
(Switchy) back once again with the O2 refresh
However the difference between the more budget "a" and the middle budget version is very minimal these days and unless it's my imagination discounts are more common on the middle and top versions.
If I go for a Google pixel is the 7 far better than the 7A?
Make sure NOT to use any data, minutes etc on the new SIM, and cancel the direct debit as soon as it’s created. The DD payment for the SIM doesn’t go out until Day 15 of the contract. (edited)
If it turns up with high battery cycles/scratches can it be returned?
Awful experience, is such a good deal financially worth all this hassle ???
This is part of my review I have stuck up on Trustpilot (edited)

Just phoned my local store and apparently they don't get deliveries on Sunday. 🙈 Great, why advertise next day? (edited)
Great if you're buying second hand though.
More "definitely dropped"
Ordered and no marks at all. No cables and plain box but phone is immaculate.
I don't mind paying the first month if that makes things easier, but obviously if we can cancel before the first payment goes out then that's a bigger win we ordered the esim.
(These Refresh deals have been going on for years)
BARGAIN!
No marks but annoying absolutely no charge in battery.
Got STAC code and transferred to a 45p Vodafone SIM (fingers crossed)
Sold old Pixel 6 (I know not much of an upgrade) for £160 (less fees)
initial impressions of phone are good!
Accubattery has my phone battery at 98% I'm happy with that given the decent saving over a brand new phone.
If you go to Settings - About phone - Battery information - Manufacture date + Cycle count.
If you did the March 2024 update it won't show anymore!
