i would never buy these crap ever again . No reliable at all .
Do yourself a favor and get wired cctv . Thats what i just went for .

I've got these since they came up on market , and needed them twice and twice didnt triggered .
I've just noticed now that some of them wont trigger for days or even longer . It gets a bit better after i restart server , so now i put it on a timed socket and reset itself twice a day .
They got to the point when i'm reversing car on the drive , i get off , go all the way around to get to the boot and get my bag and jacket , and only when i get my green safety jacket out of boot , just then triggers . Garbage . Dont . Just DONT (edited)

I have the Homebase 3 with 3C pro cameras and agree with you on this. I had to go through support and eventually set the cameras to record all human/pet motion as it wasn't triggering correctly. Had 2 instances where I needed the footage, but nothing triggered the recording so they were useless.

The quality is great, but if you want peace of mind get a system that records 24/7 and highlights events for you

Worth noting this is the home base 2 which has been updated to the, 3rd addition last year. The 3rd addition has people recognition and the ability to add a hdd. The cameras are also a, little antequated now - fine for covering a door way but lack detail and clarity for say a front drive.

I wouldn't agree on the cameras. We have the system and I'm very impressed with the quality tbh. I would highly recommend it, as much cheaper than the new homebase 3 and cameras. Only complaint I have is the AI people recognition feature (which this has) is terrible. I get alerts for people being in my garden when it's next doors cat haha.

Also worth noting that the best features of Homebase 3 (improved AI, connection to NAS, etc) are currently not compatible with Apple HomeKit, so for those who are in that ecosystem and happy with HKSV, this is a cracking deal.

Does this system have the ability to rewind to a specific time or does it just work on AI motion detection?
