Get 1 years subscription to MyFitnessPal Premium for just £3.90 (give or take a few pence) using a Turkish VPN. You may need to have a FUPS reloadable card.

Instructions:

1. Turn on your VPN and set the location to Turkey

2. Create a MyFitnessPal account . If you already have one, login to the iPhone/Android app, go to settings -> profile and change your location to Turkey.

3. If you want to try it with your UK card, skip this step. Otherwise, if you need a FUPS account, follow the guide from - hotukdeals.com/dis…810

4. Go to myfitnesspal.com/pre…ium and it should tell you that an annual subscription is TRY129.99 (c£3.90). Login with your account, fill in the payment info with either your UK card (if it works) or your FUPS card details and voila! I've just done it and it works, no problem, so thought I'd share it with the community.

Is it better than Nutracheck ? Installed both yesterday, not sure which one to invest time to.
    thundernutz's avatar
Nutracheck is vastly better and easier to use and has a much more accurate database representative of the UK, the reporting features on myfitnesspal are slightly better but the database is just full of utter garbage numbers and is very out of date. I started using Nutracheck a few months ago and cancelled myfitnesspal premium after a couple of weeks and won't be using myfitnesspal again.

    It's gone through.

Oh it didn't work for me. Will update the post that it does work on some cards then.

Myfitnesspal has been involved in a controversy related to selling your data to 3rd party illegally. So if privacy is a concern might want to check it out.

Unbelievable. Now China know I've been buying my chicken tikka masala from Iceland!

How good is this for workouts? I don’t really need/want to track my food but a premium workout app would be nice to have
    Rik_Powell's avatar
Far better free apps out there for workouts, this is purely for logging food IMO

    Can u use GB card
    DibbyDibbyShart's avatar
    Worked for me.
  7. Greigy's avatar
If you are going to go this far to avoid paying the listed price why not just download the premium APK for free?
    FlyingLlama's avatar
The premium APK is always buggy AF... Constantly crashes, closes without error and many other tedious bugs.
  8. Diad-em's avatar
Changed my location on app and using vpn but keep getting an error when trying to log in to start free trial 😞
    NeverBagHolding's avatar
Go incognito that worked for me
  9. jbundd's avatar
Worked for me using Starling - thanks OP!
Also a tip for those who already have a gmail account and aren't already aware, you can change the @gmail .com (on your existing email address) to @googlemail .com and it'll let you create a new account without creating an entirely new email account.
    sm9690's avatar

Yeah and you can also do things like:

    myemail+home@gmail.com
    my.email@gmail.com
    myemail.@gmail.com

It treats it as the same email

I just do Google surveys through the year and get 'free' Google 1 & MFP premium (edited)
    Drew_Wavy's avatar
Where do I sign up please
  11. msanman's avatar
Thanks OP. Anything else you can purchase a subscription service in Turkey e.g. Netflix?
    Superstitiious's avatar
I use Turkey for Netflix, think they've nerfed it for new subs now though, not sure...
  12. Super7's avatar
Don't even think VPN is needed

I had this deal. Im.pretty sure I got charged something minor last month but today I have just been charged TRY 129.99 or £3.86 - for a month. That's full price. Have they stopped this cheap deal working?
    DrBunker's avatar
Are you sure that's for a month? I had an email confirming the free trial is about to end and that the annual premium of TRY 129.99 will then be charged. (edited)
  14. FlyingLlama's avatar
Got it working, do I need to keep my account as TRK when done or change back to UK?
    rtb's avatar
You have to keep it as Turkey. And eat plenty of kebabs and baklava so they don't get suspicious (edited)
  15. 1337shaun's avatar
    Still not worth it, right?
  16. marc1401's avatar
    Worked using Barclays UK card
  17. NeverBagHolding's avatar
Amazing, been wanting this for ages but not willing to pay £69.99 which is literal day light robbery.

£3.90 is all it’s worth. Thanks OP

The fact they charge to use the barcode scanner after being free all these years I will never track with fitness Pal again. So gutted I updated my app
    Dudeofrude's avatar
Barcode scanner still works for me and I have a free account? Only downloaded it again last week too??
  19. palli's avatar
Nice. Some of the features are useful but not worth £65 a year.
  20. DibbyDibbyShart's avatar
Changed location on the app using VPN on phone, no vpn on PC where I used a regular tesco bank card to buy the premium, looks like it's gone through.51013251-CSRWD.jpg

    Worked for me via Revolut
    Doncegeras's avatar
    For me, as well.
  22. stoutitude's avatar
All done thanks OP. Had to do the free trial so assuming the just charge me the normal fee on 30 days time
    SunkissedTraveller's avatar
Same here got a free month trial then says 129.99 TRY starting 19th October.

Few years ago they had a huge cyber security breach and all customer data were stolen including payment deatils
  24. Ramrekha's avatar
Using an IPhone 13 Pro, had to go on safari to change my location to Turkey and it’s worked, I’ve had to start the free trial however but on the 19th October I will be paying 129 TRY which is £3.85. Thanks for sharing the offer!
  25. yatesl's avatar
No VPN needed. Change location to Turkey in the app, then open the website. Worked fine with a Starling card.
    DrBunker's avatar
    This feels... too easy.
  26. bigmo7's avatar
Thank you for this - I've been a very long time user of my fitness pal but could never justify their ridiculous sub so this is great!
  27. James_Joiner's avatar

Did you check that you were going to be charged in TRY after trial period before putting in your bank details?
  32. TechItSeriously's avatar

Any free iOS vpn to do this?
    NeverBagHolding's avatar
Invest in NORDVPN - using TopCashback you get like 40-60% back anyway.

    IMO it’s a solid investment - 2 years for £40/50 after cashbsck
  36. MrsPickleJuice's avatar
can you do it on a computer? I don't have a VPN on my phone.
    Spaced_Out's avatar
You don't need a VPN on your phone. Just change your location to Turkey temporarily, save, click the website link in the post, sign-in, sign-up to the yearly premium plan, open the app / restart the app and voilà
  37. alurlol's avatar
Worked with Chase, left location on the payment screen as Turkey
  38. jmhornby's avatar
Been waiting for an offer like this again. Used VPN app on iPhone and paid using Monzo. Thanks
