Where is says 18miles. It's lies. Can verify 10miles. Expect the last 3 miles to be milking a very flat battery

Is a single speed bike - even an e-bike - practical? I've no idea, didn't even know they made one. Looks nice though so hot from me.

I guess this would be fine if you live somewhere flat, like London.

Why? I'd imagine that the vast majority of people who buy an electric bike use the electric assist all the time and hardly ever use the bike without it. so no need for gears to get up hills or to power along at top speed.

Single speed is perfectly OK for an electric bike. Gears are pointless, an unnecessary compication and expense..

    Electric cars are single speed.

Good luck getting hold of a replacement wheel of you ever need one. 26" more of less none existent these days.

Otherwise, it's a reasonable price for an electric bike, just not enough range. (edited)

26 inch MTB wheels are very widely available and will be for a very long time.

For example, Halfords still has as many 26 inch wheels on sale as any other size, and more than most.

Strange to see a bike with a disc brake on the front and a rim brake on the back.

Yuck! You can buy a bafang mid drive 500/750w with a 17ah battery (range 30-60 miles depending on terrain, etc.) for about £600.

    Easy fit on most bikes.

A million miles better than this. Easy to limit to 250w uk spec if you so desire which will up your range considerably.

What sort of warranty you getting on something like that is my concern, £600 and it goes wrong after 6 months, have you any links or recommendations, thanks

At least they didn't put heavy and pointless cheap suspension forks on it.

advert does not say what voltage it is, the capacity of the battery or the torque in NM of the motor

    q and a says is 36 volt 10ah. (edited)

Battery life typically 3 years. Suspect you'd find it difficult to get replacements now let alone in 3 years time.
