High-quality, low odour, low VOC, water-based interior matt emulsion ideal for walls and ceilings. Fast, easy appliction with smooth flow and excellent coverage and opacity. Features quick-drying, low-splatter properties for ease and speed of clean-up. Recoatable in 2-4 hours.
I just bought the leyland trade matt 2 x 10 ltrs for £28 which imo is great value and is reasonable quality. (From Scewfix) (edited)

It is good value, but not a like-for-like product
The Leyland described is contract matt, which is designed to seal the walls for the top coat. It has little durability, okay if it's in a no-contact area.

Lickpro... What a bad name
Baldricky
They have a sister company that manufactures Suckpro vacuum cleaners.

going through reviews on screwfix.... just those with 1 or 2 stars are very interesting, claiming if other 5 stars reviews are any real...

I mean, you can get that with any product, when people form a negative opinion of something they seem to be in disbelief that other people could have a positive experience.
Lick is an established brand with many other products also corroborating the score.
I have bought my first tub to try tonight so I guess the proof is in the pudding. Hopefully I will be one for the fourteen people giving 5* rather than the two giving 1* (edited)

Just got around to painting using the LickPro. Room was already white but needed a top up. Spread lovely, not the best opacity but worked well enough. Super bright and white. Overall 8/10 (edited)

I'd try this over the Leyland bought a similar size tub of the Leyland from screwfix and it's terrible. Almost has the consistency of water and going over an already white room I'm on the 5th coat and it's still patchy.

Not sure what you got, my tub of leyland is too thick! 2 coats have covered the plastered wall fine but I'm doing 3 for a better finish.
Yes it's not ideal and i certainly wouldn't use it in high traffic areas but for walls that aren't really touched its perfectly good and cheap.

Not the biggest DIYer but I used this to paint a few rooms over the summer and it exceeded my expectations. I did need 2 coats, but it went on easy and didn’t smell as much as I thought it would. homebase.co.uk/dul…010
