Torn between this phone and the Pixel 8 Pro. The camera on the latter is astonishing, but I do love the productivity of the stylus.

I have the 8 pro and my son has an ultra.

The user interface is better on the Pixel and the images are really natural. However, the zoom on the Ultra is off-the-scale better. Therefore, unless 5x zoom will be all that you need I'd say go for the Ultra.
You won't be unhappy with either device.

Has anyone upgraded from an S21 Ultra to one of these? Interested how they compare. My S21 Ultra still runs nice and fast, camera still decent, battery gets through a day, just (but I do use it a fair bit). Screen cracked so kind of have an excuse, not sure whether to hang on for another year. (edited)

Your S21 Ultra is the last model with a SD card.

I purchased this in 'very good' condition, slightly disappointed as it arrived with lots of scratches on the screen. I know that other companies (like Giffgaff) state that phones sold as very good have pristine screens. Going through their returns process now.

I looked after mine very well and after a years worth of use, it had zero scratches on any part of the phone. Sold it to Samsung as part of trade in and got £600 for it. To be honest they should have given more as it was £600 for an S23U in any condition. I had protective film applied to all sides of the phone, a glass protector on the front and a case for good measure. Absolutely pristine condition. I'm sure it was/will be sold for much more to someone else.

Has anyone purchased phones through the big phone store? How does the pristine condition work as I am looking for a phone as closest to the new one if I can? I am a bit hesitant as I never bought a refurbished phone so far and also it does not have a 30 day free return like 4gadgets do. Thanks for any help.

The pristine phones are really good! Very difficult to spot anything on them - they will have small marks if you purposely look for them, but on a quick glance they look perfect, their reviews online are really good and people seem happy with the returns process

Cheers op needed an upgrade from a galaxy note 4 only cus monzo bank are saying I need to upgrade by oct 2024 or loose access to there app. Prefer batteries like in note 4 that can be ejected but gor 500+ seeing as s23 ultras only came out feb 2023 for less than half price of a s24 ultra £1300 released guess I can't complain. Could have waited until oct 2024 but I guess I wouldn't have saved much.
Guess I am not gaining much from s23 to s24 to warrant the £800 extra price tag apart from it being new and sat 99o calls and ai bs.
I normally would gave gone cheaper for a s8.

As per....with all these phones with no removable battery I woz about what happens in 500 battery cycles when capacity drops.

Cheers anyway I took the plung.

Least now I can store my icp coins and have icp nns access direct on my phone same as dmail on web3.

    Chose green.

Why can't you buy S23 Ultra on Samsung website as brand new? Everywhere I'm looking besides Argos it's all refurbished S23 ultras. Although the S24 is out the S23 ultras are hardly to be found brand new and it's just over a year old

Ordered a pristine one at 512gb - think it was the last one they had. We'll see what it likes when it arrives, but my expectations are going to be quite high, otherwise its going back...
