I had this and it was really good. Car seat is fixed in with seatbelt but nice and sturdy. My sister also had one and she too loved it. Hers was Whinnie the pooh though. Looked really nice.

SClub

We had a Baby style Oyster system for our first two children, but it fell to bits. Have been successfully using an Outnabout little nipper since, which lies flat. We've also purchased the infant insert (£25), Maxi Cosi car seat adapters (£15 used on eBay) and a Maxi Cosi Pebble car seat (£130ish). Really like the Outnabout buggy, and have the double as well.

debsallen

I’d recommend finding a pushchair/baby shop and testing a few out, seeing how small they fold, how they handle, if they will fit in your boot etc! That way you can go online and find th best deals for the perfect one! Good luck :)

steveieboy1

Go for a 2nd hand one. We got a used Uppababy Vista for £280 and it would have been over 1k new with all the bits and we need two seats and don't want a double. Having tried loads of pushchairs with our first child we wish we'd have paid a bit more to start with. We got a Maxi Cosi car seat and pushchair when on offer and sold the pushchair so got a cheap car seat, the Isofix base was daily deals x2.

KittyKate

Didnt't like the Hauck we had from Aldi. Terrible wheels and non existent suspension. Poor baby was thrown about like a rag doll and my hands were still shaking an hour after using it! Went back to the iCandy (which is in 2 parts so not quite as handy but a lovely smooth ride). You do get what you pay for with pushchairs.

Yes I did and they checked. But some stores didn't answer

dreamz

I did call and they did check for me so worth a try

antonio369

do you know if you can still call any of the branches to check stock?

Ziggyb

Lucky.

dreamz

It’s just pot luck really. They were 11 in stock but price started at £279. So I waited and kept checking in to make sure there still is stock. Yesterday there were 7 in stock and by evening only 2 left so I picked one up for £199.

I have always bought expensive ish strollers. Not keen on the Aldi ones I think you get what you pay for personally x

jellyjosie

I recommend this stroller. We bought at 5 months and hv been using ever since. The pram (we hv m&p armadillo flip) is sth I will always regret buying first hand - big and useless - but as someone said necessary for newborns as it’s rear facing etc. If u travel a lot or zip around in tube/ busses, the quest is for u! The strap is annoying though....

peympeym

newborns should not go on stroller, they should be in rear facing prams so they see you and feel secure rather than feel lone and abandoned . Crazy paying anything over 50£ for a stroller. Get a Huck from Aldi when available for £30. Does the same job but not for newborns

Aeschylus

We have pink version....it is to rough on ground for a new born imo...however my and my wife are the only ones who can do the strap...so test in mothercare to make sure you can do it

I agree with previous comments. Returned it as it doesn't fold slim enough for a umbrella fold and also found wheels quite rigid.

daes56

Don’t bother. Worst pushchair I’ve ever had! Wheels are stiff and squeaky, so hard to steer, jams up when you try and fold it up/down! Not just me I know several people who have had this pushchair and it’s done the same.

marc2629

Seems like a good price OP, even for a store branded product. A deals a deal!

jdRiggs

You are paying for the flexibility. It is good value if you are future proofing so that if you have a second baby before the child is 2 / 2.5 you won't need to buy and store a double pushchair.

jdRiggs

At first glance it seems expensive for an own brand pushchair, it is probably the lack of a description / detail on the features to explain why its a good deal. The image doesn't convey the flexibility or potential of the travel system. It is excellent value for a pushchair that can be upgraded to a tandem but the voters would have to do some googling to find that out ;) Bonus points from me for being compatible with the maxi cosi, be safe & cybex car seats as they far far exceed the minimum safety requirements. The opportunities are endless with the genie - its pramette, tandem mode and travel system compatibility - up to 10 different modes possible. Will convert to a tandem pushchair by adding a second seat unit (sold separately) Heat added, good find.

orwinian

£260 for pram which includes the carry cot and converts into seat. +£20 for the car seat adaptor. Then however much you spend on a car seat.

CromeX

it seems a little expensive for just the pram.. what's the full system cost in comparison to other full system costs?

Thanks I see the also have the VISTA Model package in red or a sand colourfor £499 This is even better value in my opinion as it is future proof. You can add a toddler seat later if you need to. There is a trade off in size and weight with the cruz but the vista may tick the boxes for some :) Vista package

The price difference just seems to be related to the balloon pattern. It happens a lot with pushchairs same one in different colours will have a variation in price. I wouldn't expect any difference in quality between the two. It's just personal preference. Balloons and 4 wheels or block colour in the 3wheel version. If by last a while you mean for siblings later then personally I would go with the block colour as it's timeless, fussier designs can sometimes go out of fashion.

dreamz
