Aren't these absolute trash from what i remember? I read that they dont keep things very cool at all.

Had one similar to this in early 2000s that only had a cold plate at the bottom. Things had to be touching that and cold air was not circulated. Took forever to cool 4 stubbies and was noisy as hell.

    Size comparison

    4.5 litre model dimensions 405 × 220 × 220 mm

    10 litre model dimensions 510 × 279 × 279 mm

    real Xbox Series X console 301 × 151 × 151 mm

Guys I own one of these from when they first released and I cannot recommend it at all.
It's a manual cooler, not a fridge. It has no thermostat and cannot regulate temperature.
It just runs and runs until you switch it off.
I used a smart plug to put mine on a timer, but the device itself is not great at cooling anyway.

    Does it play Crysis?

Mid life crysis to buy one

Please don't buy one of these even at this price. I had a total of 3...all died

Can I buy one from you. Be perfect gift for Christmas Day. Glue door shut and then just tell kids the machine doesn’t seem to work, when you go to set it up
    Save a few hundred quid
  6. Player_One's avatar
Can't believe people paid 70 + for this when it came out. So technically a great deal if you want one. But not for me. Heat added.
    MonkeyMan90's avatar
This is for the smaller size one. The full size one is still £65
  7. jenrazzmatazz's avatar
I bought one of these when they first came out as I succumbed to the hype.
I was so disappointed with the build quality and it’s ability to “cool” I had to send it back.
GAME still screwed me over with their hidden tax, aka “delivery fee” to their store
  8. donny's avatar
was thinking of putting my PS3 inside
  9. Akahn66's avatar
This doesn't connect to my TV, can anybody help?

My one from game died on me after 3 months , no help from game so is now just sat gathering dust lol
    Skerries's avatar
mine died but it was the mains lead that stopped working so I bought a plug adapter for the car adapter extension that comes with it and I now use that

Not true replica.. no red ring of death

Wrap it in a towel it'll be fine

They aren't worth it I got one and they are noisey and are a cooler better off buying a proper mini fridge as they need to be left on all the time I paid 99 quid for mine if you turn it off the unit defrosts and leaks water nice idea very badly executed
  13. Iam2phenomenal's avatar
Brought one at full price when it first come out you could only ran it for a few days as the fan would start making a absolute racket as it got blocked up by ice. So you would have to turn it off and wait for the ice to melt after 10 mouth it stopped working took it back to game and for my money back
  14. reginald88's avatar
    Garbage don’t bother!!
  15. Joe_Yabuki's avatar
If I remember, it was exclusively sold by Game, had a long queue to try to get one and it was 79.99 + delivery, so almost 85£! About 2 weeks prior delivery, I've cancelled my order: one of the best decision I have ever made lol

Shameful example of a product destined to be e-trash.

Great for eBay. Just stick the photo on, sold as seen in the description and a price of £250. =Profit (edited)

These are absolutely awful for cooling
  21. DealsIUsed's avatar
The question is, am I far gone enough to consider buying this?...
  22. Syed_Hayat's avatar
Don't Buy, there is a manufacturing fault. Ice buildup blocks the cooling vents and it stops cooling and leaking alot. I bought one for my sone and it needs de-icing every week. X box say it's normal. Long complaint about this fault on internet
  23. BBTF's avatar
These are great when you want something that cools significantly worse than a fridge, but at 29x the noise.
    Piranha_Plant's avatar
Microsoft had to compete with the brand new Sony PS5 slim for noise… I still think the PS5 slim wins for most noise though

Imagine paying hundreds for the actual console on fleebay or elsewhere online and getting this instead!? lol.

Bought one of these but now keeps coming up with "A new update is available, Alcohol 2.0 improves your system performance”
  26. OFI's avatar
Am I seeing this right... The 4.5 litre holds 8 cans whilst the 10 litre holds.. 10?
  27. engrharv's avatar
Got a cheap RGB version of this from B&M.

    bmstores.co.uk/pro…756

took it back the next day it was so loud I measured the fan at the back at over 60db constantly ☹. (edited)

My son has been nagging me for one of these for Christmas. I may get one and pay the £9 insurance to cover me for any hassle it gives me
  32. Waynej's avatar
I got one at launch. I quite like it tbh. I can't speak for the function as a cooler as I've never even used it for that, it just looks hilarious as an oversized Series X, which is the reason I wanted it. I keep my controllers inside.
    Anonymous_T's avatar
Lol i bet this could make a good game / controller storage unit. Is there enought room to stack games?
  33. RudieJ's avatar
Does anyone know how much noise this generates and if it is noticeable over TV when watching movies.
    Piranha_Plant's avatar
Quieter than the new PS5 slim

Not worth it even if it was £5.
    Piranha_Plant's avatar
I would buy one at £5 for sure
  38. juliea160's avatar
Bought one of these at Christmas and had to return it. Water very slowly dripping inside so everything gets wet, after further research seems to be a common problem so I'd avoid. Looked good though.
  39. Aariyan's avatar
Why would I need this in winter? Specially in UK where everything is cold. Doesn't make sense how this is so heated deal.
    taffyjock1's avatar
Because we stopped living in caves around 50,000 years ago.

A cooler that needs to be rebooted once a week due to locking up (with ice). They nailed the Microsoft experience in creating this replica. (edited)
