This deal got to over 400 degrees when it was £470 back in Feb, so this seems like an absolutely crazy price. Costco membership required of course.

Exactly the same specs as the Casio PX-770BK | PX-770BN | PX-770WE, apparently Casio have confirmed it's the same keyboard.

3 year warranty (vs 2 for most).

Hopefully this helps.

If it helps I have found more info. This is exactly the same as the Casio PX-770BK | PX-770BN | PX-770WE.

I checked the product specifications in the manual and previous posts where Casio confirmed they are the exact same!

Many thanks. I think you can't go wrong for the price. They seem to have good reviews on YouTube.

Strange indeed. There seems to be a lot of info and videos about PX-760, PX-770, PX-860 but not about this one.

Many thanks, absolutely bargain ordered. Was look for a piano looking and this is perfect.

How does this compare with the s160? The latter is more expensive at £379 so I’m guessing that’s higher in the range

This is usually 4x the price. This is much higher range than the s160. Look at the much better polyphony alone.

    Is it flat packed?

Looks like it. Bonus points for working out the difference between this model that no-one's ever heard of and one which people have: musicradar.com/rev…iew

(That one weighs the same so the criticisms of the speakers probably apply too.) (edited)

Anyone know how this compares to the Alesis recital Grand which I bought a while ago for xmas, but is back on at £299? (without stand)

That keyboard looks great too, rather similar it seems??! I think the difference is this comes with a rather nice stand and pedals all included. The Casio stand alone is around £150 for the lower Casio models.
It looks like the speakers are better on that? You can always plug in speakers I guess. (edited)

Does it have a pitch wheel?
    I_Zebra's avatar
No it's very much aimed at people whose main interest is something which sounds and behaves !like an acoustic piano

Dang it, been looking for exactly this kind of offer, and its gone out of stock by the time I'm back from working. Ah well! Good deal OP.

I am tempted by this a lot more than the S160. It's an older model but it's part of the Privia line. The CDP S line shortens the length of the keys. This makes it more difficult to control how softly or loudly you play different notes. Also the black and white keys are weighted differently which adds to the problem. If you want to play classical piano this makes it a problem once you get beyond beginner level. James Pavel Shawcross who has a YouTube channel called Thepianoforever has videos explaining the problem. He is an independent reviewer who does not receive freebies from the music industry.

    This or Roland FP-10?
    LaurenceGough's avatar
Roland fp-10 has clicky key action, if not when new after a few weeks / months. Check YouTube etc.

How likely is it to come back in stock?

Anyone had theirs dispatched yet? mine still saying processing
    LaurenceGough's avatar
Check the tracking number. It seems quite a bespoke / smaller specialist delivery company in use. Mines been in the delivery hub for ages... I must be more patient.
