Thank is there a way you can request what peices you want? Generally don't like leg peices! (edited)
    jennypenny's avatar
Yes I request no breast meat and most of the time they are okay with it. I think they have a button on the till as I have it printed on my recipet. Most times they just tell the person who is packing the meals.

is it possible to be an animal lover and also eat meat?
    girag1847's avatar
I love, dogs, cats , horses ,, and yet at the same time my favourite cut of meat to consume is lamb chops which comes from a baby animal so i would never ever call myself an animal lover but i know many hypocrites who are meat eaters and just because they love and care for their pets they call themselves animal lovers ! ( I have a a friend who loves Foie gras but just because he has 2 pet cats at home he says he is an animal lover )

It's not worth the trips to the loo I get from it. Plus it's a bad deal compared to chicken Tuesdays, ah the good old days, 2022......

Don't forget to play the pinball game on the app,to win free food.

Has anyone else got an email saying it’s half price 6 piece bargain bucket…

    seckinboy's avatar
Just got another email with an apology saying it’s 6 piece only not bargain bucket.
  11. Darren_22's avatar
One time per account use it seems, as I can't use it again.
    jungleboy123's avatar
thats sad. Why KFC so tight!
  12. Specz's avatar
Not a bad offer, but their chickens usually bland and smaller in size compared to other chicken shops. KFC waayyyy overpriced nowadays in any case, but might go for this offer. (edited)
  13. Blueberry_Aniseed's avatar
Their chicken pieces are smaller than wings from super markets nowadays.
    OutSpoken's avatar
I noticed that too and tastes very meh these days, no different than the local bossman chicken takeaways.
  14. leeds85's avatar
Pre lockdown there used to be 5 or 6 cars queuing up at the drive thru, there's never any in front when I go KFC now.
    ray966's avatar
Same here the quality of our local KFC has dropped so much, we hardly go as it’s always disappointing
  15. kerrysilver's avatar
Anyone know is this just. Chicken or chips aswell x
    NoNamesLeftWhy's avatar
if you just looked at the picture you can see that its chicken only.
  16. JC7's avatar
Says £5.99 on my app, not £5.24, strange.
Edit: Found a 4.2 rated branch for £5.24 (edited)
    humdan424's avatar
    My local also £5.99
  17. Ashley_Clarke's avatar
What I've noticed is all these deals give a different code, the receipt will say $APP$ or something similar and they will give the smaller piece to those orders.
    rpmac1981's avatar
Exactly - it was always remarkable that whenever we got the 9 piece tuesday deals, there were 4 or 5 drumsticks in there. Never that many with a full price bucket.
  18. adamnsu's avatar
I find KFC chicken is quite dry and not very tasty (Colliers Wood, Morden and Sutton). The pieces also seem small.

For chicken to the smaller Halal fast food joints which seem better quality.

Only love the KFC Wings and Zinger burger (hate the chips)
    jayzone1998's avatar
Places I been to are alright. Croydon area, Norbury, Streatham etc.
  19. bumbaclart's avatar
I just got this...I was expecting fries with it
    ahleung's avatar
Just had it and I'm pissed as it is just BS marketing. 6pc bargain bucket (with fries) is £12.99. now, if I bought 4 regular fries as these are not in the bucket, the cost would come out to around £12.99!! Letter to the ASA me thinks... 😡
  20. welshblob's avatar
As this is a bucket can you add 4 sides for £2 and 4 extra pieces of chicken for £3? Been a while since i did that so can't remember if that's still a thing.
    jungleboy123's avatar
have you tried this? I was thinking of getting some other people round so we could use our own KFC apps and get more orders but if its just £3 for 4 extra then that would be cheaper.
  21. Coadnew's avatar
Great offer except that it shows as £5.24 for collection and £7.49 at the same restaurant for delivery
    welshblob's avatar
Delivery is a rip off, menu prices are higher, £10 minimum order, then the delivery charge and then an admin charge !
  22. Knights's avatar
It seems the price went up from 5.24 to 5.99 at my end. Can anyone else confirm if they're seeing the same change?

    52002404-qaeR1.jpg
    ninjap's avatar
No, still showing as £5.24 on my app.
  23. Karamazov's avatar
This is how much it should be standard price
    northerngeezer's avatar
    Yes
  24. TerryT's avatar
Yikes, the original price of £10.49 for a 6pc is steep. It's important to recognise how prices can escalate and the impact this has on our wallets. With the rise of social media, there's a growing pressure to conform to certain spending habits. These platforms, with their targeted advertising, do influence our purchasing decisions more than we might realise.

It's worth considering how often we find ourselves reaching for our phones, possibly driven by habit at this point, it's unconscious. This isn't about being immune to manipulation, but about being aware of these influences.

If consumers collectively become more conscious of their spending and question these price hikes (particularly by simply NOT BUYING), it could lead to a change in market trends. This excess cash is going to the wealthiest and they want you to keep consuming and keeping up with the jones's. Going along with and continuation of unchecked price increases will only burden consumers further.

HUKD folks are probably better clued into this, it's the rest not using sites like HUKD that may push this further and further. I can't believe that it's come to me sounding like a tin foil hat lunatic lol. I know many data scientists and this is all real! Data is used to influence the very smartest of us, to keep us scrolling, to calculate which content works best on us at a person by person level at unimaginably low costs in terms of resource and manual intervention (its all autonomous). This is where AI have already got our number. Being mindful of this really helps, I bet you are richer and happier for it.

What a joke that they removed all 4 portions of fries and sent emails to everyone saying the offer email contained a mistake. This was NOT an error in an email as they claim. The fact that the app showed 50% off the "6 Piece Bargain Bucket" and showed that you got 4 free portions of fries means it has nothing to do with an email error. Deal should have been removed from this site when the deal changed instead of keeping the heat and giving KFC advertising they absolutely don't deserve. Insane that they would lie like this to penny pinch.
    Sherbat's avatar
Agree completely but not surprised at all with the parties involved. Wasn't going to get it anyway but glad they messed up and caused more self inflicted damage.
  26. banshee3099's avatar
Need the 9 pieces for £5.99 back
    jungleboy123's avatar
If they'd do that KFC would be rammed and they'd probably make profit on other stuff like drinks and things.

I guess people are still buying KFC despite the extorinate prices these days.

Hadn't had KFC for a while and saw this deal so thought I'd give it a go for lunch. Was really quite grim, not what it used it be... Not sure I'll bother again :/
    Mclwrth's avatar
Yeah, I thought the same when I had it a few weeks ago. It seemed overcooked and much too salty. Thought it might be a one-off so tried it again about a fortnight later and it was just the same.

These deals are so crappy I literally want to kick The Colonel in the chicken nuggets.
  32. RaMoS87's avatar
Bring on the argument about the discounted price and being unable to select the pieces you actually want rather than 6 mini wing pieces (edited)

    Still almost £8 for me...

Why do the prices vary so much? (edited)

Picked up some lidl kfc style chicken today for £2.30 (30% off). 2 for £4.60. Has 6 pieces in each box so 12 pieces in total. Wack it in the airfryer add some sriracha sauce and ketchup and you've got yourself a nice takeaway style meal (edited)
