I've been using one for about 6 months. It's been an excellent performer.

I would recommend installing a GCam Mod app to get better quality photos from the camera, as the stock app over-processes the photos, but other than that it ticks all the boxes for me. (edited)

pOLED and AMOLED are the same thing, just marketed differently. AMOLED is a Samsung term, whereas other manufacturers use the term pOLED.

Both are Plastic substrate and Active Matrix.

The lack of a true always-on display is up to the manufacturer of the phone whether to enable it in their software.
