Great offer, but be mindful that you don’t get tied up in new 18 months contract. This is especially annoying if you have offers on your account, as those offers will end after 18 months of your original contract but by joining this offer you will have extra months added to your contract. Complicated but hope it makes sense

I've just signed up to streaming on an 18month deal, £19 a month, so if I add the cinema deal, my original deal won't be affected?

You’re paying them £78 per month, only one winner in this mate

Thanks OP. Great deal. I've just signed up for this today.

Also, I was offered Ultra HD for free.
Plus it might be possible to get £25 cashback from TopCashback.

Remember to ask to be set up for Paramount Plus, it’s amazing as that normally £6.99 per
    Month (edited)

Does it recontract your entire contract for 18 months so any exiting offers that finish in that time would end up up potentially costing g you more in long run?
    PhatGit's avatar
From experience, yes if you do it online. However if you call up they will look at renegotiating the whole package including lowering some items still in contract if you say no at first

Sky cinema isn't what it was. I currently have it on NOWTV for a quid and about to cancel as its not worth it ! Also go careful, you often find when taking a new discount they remove existing discounts and its a pain in the neck to sort it out ...

Also, what vector8724 said !! (edited)

Agreed on Sky Cinema. Once the Xmas season is over I’m going to remove it from my package as rarely does a decent Premiere come on…

If I had a Vue cinema near me, it would be a no brainer...but sadly, the closest is about 2hrs away.

Sky Cinema is pretty awful for new content these days...but Paramount + has some good stuff (that's the only reason I'd subscribe)..

Last year, Paramount+ was half price for Black Friday, at only £34.95 for the year (averages at about £2.92 a month). So if that's what is enticing you, it might be worth waiting a couple weeks to see if that deal is repeated.

Hey do you need to already be a sky customer to get this?

Says 18 months contract on mine so double check what offer they give you

Still a cracking deal for free paramount TV and Sky Vue cinema tickets

The deal is £8 for me, but it is a 18 month contract, not 12!

    Soz I got offered 12 month… hence I thought it was 12…

This is showing on my account but Sky won’t honour it. They’re offering me £9 per month for 18 months, which I can have if I take Sky Sports. I’ve been going round in circles with a hard to understand gentleman who is probably in a call centre in India so I’m now in the queue for cancellations. 24 years with Sky apparently counts for nothing.

Ad skipping free for 0 months aswel and whole home reduced to £6
    A1p5's avatar
What's ad skipping? How much are you paying per month? The cheapest they quoted me this morning was £87 - Signature, Cinema, Sports and Multiscreen. HD and Ulta HD also included.
  12. BlackCats2112's avatar
Sky Cinema is pants but might be worth it for the 2x Vue tickets I guess. Not checked what's on Paramount+
  13. A1p5's avatar
I have a feeling they're losing a lot of cinema customers hence the tickets. I know I was gonna cancel cinema at renewal. But having had my renewal quote this morning, looks like I'm leaving Sky altogether!
  14. ashington's avatar
As a long term VIP customer you can get this deal anyway. I'm paying £9 a month.
  15. dragonfury's avatar
Ive had sky cinema for over a year and have only watched 2 films during that time. Garbage. But too lazy to cancel too (edited)

I am currently a Sky Stream customer and have had Sky broadband for nearly 7 years. Spoke with two Sky consultants today who told me that I can get the offer for £11 on a 18-month contract. I see the offer on my app and when I log in the website but I can’t add it. Has anyone else got the £8 offer on a Sky Stream account?
    shikoku14's avatar
Try adding it via the stream puck, that worked for me, i had the same issue that it wouldn’t add via web or MySky app
  17. a_steve84's avatar
    Sky Cimena is rubbish.

Might be worth it just for the cinema tickets though. However not for me, as a dad of 2 very young kids, these days I dont think I'd stay awake in a cinema long enough. Could go for a nap I suppose.

Mine says on my sky Q box £8 a month for the for 18 months with a monthly rolling subscription, what do they actually mean by monthly rolling subscription? (edited)
    po57405k's avatar
Would normally mean you can cancel anytime

Mine has the offer on the page but won’t let me do it online and have to try again later apparently.

Thanks OP. A great time to post this as I was only earlier looking at my renewal cost. Currently paying £50 for Signature, sports, Cinema and multiroom. Wondering if I can haggle a better deal with this offer.
    A1p5's avatar
I just spoke with Sky to see if I can get a cheeky good new deal. Not a chance! The rep plain and simple told me no chance I'm going to get such a good deal again.

I asked him to do a test run with the best deals he had today - the total cost like-for-like came in at £87.

I have a feeling I'm going to be leaving Sky come my renewal in February 24.
  22. Ben10's avatar
Not in mine and ours is £12 just signed a new deal with them fuming
  23. ashy7's avatar
Where do you see the minimum term for this? When I add to basket, in the review order bit just says the new total amount, but nothing about a new minimum term?
  24. saintscouple's avatar
Showing on my account, but even at £8 a month not something i would make use of. Still voted hot as fantastic price for those who would make use.
  25. Belf's avatar
Can you stack the Vue cinema tickets or do they expire monthly?
    A1p5's avatar
    They expire unfortunately.
  26. masterkik's avatar
Does anyone know how long is the offer until, as have an offer dropping off end of the month
  27. drumdam's avatar
Voted hot as it will be a good saving for some especially with Christmas around corner.
Personally wouldn’t pay £8 for sky movies as I think it’s rubbish. £5 or less would be better
  28. amwork's avatar
Good deal, although seems the cinema tickets can only be used Sunday - Thursday
  29. luvsabargain13's avatar
Did any one get the £25 topcashback to track?
  30. sjmleicester's avatar
I've got this offer for £8 / month. Still in 2 minds as Sky Cinema has so many repeats and, Hollywood's output over recent years has been very poor IMO.

It also does state 18 month contract those.

Shame it's not my local Odeon rather than the VUE cinema. Might have been tempted then.

Struggling to get this offer from Sky, I also have sky stream, I see the offer but I cannot add it, spoke to a few reps and the best they can do for me is but either £13 or £11 for 18 months
  32. easylinkselecta's avatar
I was paying £6pm for Sky Cinema a couple of years ago. I watched 2 movies in 18 months. That's £54 per movie. Honestly, it's utter
Paramount+ is similarly rubbish. I just take up the regular free monthly trials every now and again when there's something worth watching, which to be honest, is very rarely.
I don't need Vue tickets either.
In fact I don't need Sky.
    I'll get my coat.

I remember went Sky cinema was good.

    That's no longer the case.
    helal94's avatar
I mean in this day and age where you can watch everything on demand, for “free” and more conveniently with other methods, their offering does seem to pale in comparison.
  36. uog's avatar
Whilst it's a decent offer with the amount of free trials of streaming services about its finding the time
