Lightning deal. Sorry.
Lightning deal. Sorry.
The thing is it's bad to use more than the recommended watts to charge device.
expired as can't see it?
Coming up at £21.99
It’s a ten watter - my heat is justified!
Loyalty and deal finding respect!
Completely aside to your bad experience this isn't actually a good price. I'm surprised it has any heat at all unless they're drone upvotes.
Past experience with Mymemory was horrible, personally I would say stay away, customer service is horrible and also is postage times, been waiting 2 months on Anker Power Bank now, they refunded my money due to 3 weeks and no sign, and told me to keep the item as compensation when it arrives, it has yet to show up.
There was only 10 minutes left on the lightning deal when I ordered.
Appreciate the gesture anyway, thanks! :)
il buy it for u and u pay postage to send it to you but will end up costing more no point
£21.49 now or am I missing something?
It is usually on a lightning deal at this price at least 3-4 times per week. Have bought 2 of them recently, Quality power banks
Does anyone know if the c converters work on a switch without causing any issues?
What did you end up replacing them with? I'm happy to pay extra for something that works rather than goes in the bin.
I totally agree. I was just giving another option
why not buy the correct cable, if you mean the machine does not have a type C then you are limited to port speed, so I carry a standard usb to type c for when I can access a type c to type c. But these are good standard cables, nothing fancy.
Looks like deal has expired?
full price for me also with prime
£16.44 for me ;(
now its not even showing as a lightning deal. guess its sold out/expired or something now...
i'm using chrome and adds to basket no probs
Ah I noticed your comments and subsequently deleted mine. But you must have replied at the same time. Glad to hear that you are enjoying it. Agreed - will definitely keep an eye out!
Indeed. It changed not long after I ordered it. After using it for a few days now I'm really impressed with it, build quality is great and the thing comes with a 24 month warranty which is good! The US layout really isn't a problem for me at all I can use either. If you're after a new keyboard I'd keep an eye on this because if it comes back on offer it's a helluva lot of keyboard for 15 quid! RGB, full size w/ number pad & mechanical - can't really go wrong.
Keyboard came today and I am typing on it now. It's my first mech and I've got it to connected to my laptop and it's a really good upgrade from the mushy keyboard I am used to. It seems good quality, really can't go wrong for the price. Still getting used to it but I can certainly recommend it if it comes back of offer.
Gone back to full price now (£49.99 that is, not even £32.99) Glad I saw this last night.. I did want a ten keyless if I'm being fussy, but at this price I don't really mind either!
I've been searching for a mechanical keyboard for the past couple of weeks and had it narrowed down to 3 in my basket and cheapest was £26.99 so I'll take this all day. Brilliant price for a mechanical board. Heard good reviews too for this board, just ordered one. I'll update when it arrives.
A Appreciate your kind words :)
Taa Mrswitch. Methinks Hotukd ought to be compensated for hosting fees, website, staff, etc...except for...Mrswitch and people who take time to find such deals and post them. Do you get paid in free electricity and to slouch over a computer for long hours? I reckon there should be a framework to donating to charitable causes yes, but gratitude, me being old-fashioned, sometimes comes out of the pocket. Suggest option to donate to those who have save us a pretty penny? I was looking at slang for having been able to save money and remembered the expression "Saved us a bomb" but can no longer find it. Is it just me or that slang phrase has become politically corrected? I don't like losing my slang. Save Our Slang.
Thank you, using 10 USB ports as we speak and it just keeps getting worse... this will be great for my Oculus.
I jumped on this OP. I need me a proper non-underpowered hub for my NVIDIA Shield TV. Thanks.
I presume you mean a Hub that supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 10Gbs as Type C is the connector type and has no bearing on speed. Not many devices support 10Gbs USB anyway although that will increase a lot now that Intel have finally integrated it into their chipsets.
Received this yesterday and the quality is fantastic. A worthy replacement to the original pixel 2 cable and better. Not tempted to get another for the car!
Not the same cable, that's USB A to Type C whereas this is Type C to C. These are generally more expensive whereas USB A to Type C can be found in Poundworld
Awesome deal for a USB C to C cable, have no doubt it'll be great since it's from Aukey. Cheers OP, ordered and heat added (highfive)
Note 1 in the description says This cable can not be used to load MacBooks, but connected devices already. Please use the original cable (or similar cable) to charge your MacBook. Not sure what that means really, but doesn't sound like it's suitable for MacBooks. Think this one is better and it's USB-IF certified too (dearer at £6.99 though): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GGKZ1VA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It’s 9.6A at 5V so around 4A full-tilt at the 12V voltage level. It should be fine. Most cigarette lighter sockets will allow up to 150W (you can run things like 240V inverters off them fine).
Something to beware of is that 9.6A will be to much for many accessory sockets in a car and will burn you wires out. I would be inclined to fit a decent cable direct including fuse to the battery if I was going to use this at the full 9.6A
The TeckNet one is really good quality, has a nice metal body and feels well made - little things that make the difference. I use an EasyAcc one but anything proper brand is fine.
I stand down.... Sire

How do I get it for that price? Showing 10.92
I ordered 2, 1 did not work. Sent it back and ordered another and still got to check it works. Nice and bright when they do work though, I've got one set to motion sensor by my back door.
Higher amps than previous quick chargers (i.e. quick charge 2.0). It will only charge faster if you have a modern device that supports QC 3.0 though. Heat.
I've ordered many aukey items including chargers. On one of the double chargers I ordered the usb pins become bent and the port no longer works. Bit of a shame really however aukey cs is brilliant and they post a new one out within a couple of days if you contact them.
where did that say? this is a replacement or add-on for the peeps.
But why is this better than the original quick charger?
Can anyone recommend a pair for running? These bounce around too much according to reviews
Bought these as my first wireless headphones but am sending them back because I could hear background hiss during quite parts of a track and in between tracks. Is this normal for wireless earphones?
£30 now Edit: talking rubbish. Ignore me.
any other views and reviews? the price seems good.
Power Bank, Anker PowerCore Speed 10000 QC, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Portable Charger for Galaxy S8 with Power IQ, Power Bank for Samsung, iPhone, iPad and More amazon.co.uk/dp/B01JIYWUBA/
Can you link one?
Best recommendation would be an Anker charger with QC3. Excellent product , great features, great customer service, and good prices.
Ok hopefully it does. I really need to get a power bank
I would wait till this comes back in stock it's a good price (If you can wait)
Does this interfere with the radio as I lose signal as soon as plug it in
It is indeed! At 12V, 55W is 4.5A, so I guess it doesn't matter - it's ony 11A on the other side of the transformer.
Just a heads up , i got one from Amazon and for some reason keeps blowing the 15amp fuse for cigarette lighter. When i was reading a few post some people have had same problem when two items are plugged in it didn't seem to like it. ie 2 x phones, or 1 x phone and 1 x Tomtom Works fine with one item but defeats the object, not saying it wont work in your car just doesn't like the two mondeos i tried it in lol But for price etc worth it
Idk how the car battery port works. Output?
The only thing that I have purchased from them was a £4.99 our door solar light. Very happy that I was sent this as I’ve been looking to purchase one soon.
I got one sent out randomly for free. Seems good built quality, granted alittle big and heavy compared to my 6k&10k powerbanks but I guess u can expect that since its a 20k one
Nee band 20?
They have sent out to quite a few it seems from checking other hotukd posts. Cant complain though right :)
Nope nothing what so ever, I had to check my amazon purchases and there’s no transaction for it.
Don't worry mate, its okay if you can't backup half the nonsense you spew out. Most of it is made up anyway just to feel important lol (lol) (lol)
You won't be labelled as a verified buyer... #justsaying #andyouthoughtyouwerenice (lol) (lol) (lol)
Have bought some USB cables. Going to try it out this weekend while camping, so I'll write them a review in return. I guess that's fair :D
Now muted as fed up listening to garbage from members that constantly want spoonfeeding on here! (mad)
LOL and a random on HUKD claiming it does is a far better source eh? (unicorn) Just goes to show how insignificant the issue really is from the lack of content on the topic. But you'll still get ill-informed individuals trying to pretend like they know what they are talking about. Let's not forget, you haven't got anything to indicate that it does :)
Good to know. Assume the waiting list get the lightning price?
Yep. It's a common Amazon "trick" - only release a small number of units for the Lightning Deal initially to give a feeling of scarcity, and then miraculously find another few hundred units for anyone on the waiting list ;)
