£40 is a great price for this set, however, it has regularly been sub-£40 (rediculously!) over the last couple of months. I grabbed one at £32, but even at this price it's well worth the money

Amazon are usually around the £46 mark for this (plus postage)

This has been £32 so if you don't need for xmas might be worth waiting

If you think the outside looked impressive, wait until you see the interior of it and all the hidden stuff! (horror)

Most of these sets are available cheaper elsewhere even with the 20% discount. e.g. Heartlake Hospital £67.99 (inc. 20% off) at the Lego shop, but... £64.99 · Smyths Toys£59.98 · Toys R Us£67.20 · Tesco Direct£64.99 · Argos Cold from me until someone points out which sets are cheaper here than elsewhere cos I can't see any.

Overpriced like a £700 40" TV? ;) Lego is indeed expensive, but you know why it's so popular? Because it's actually quite good and the alternatives aren't.
