An attraction thats popularity has always amazed me. IMO doesn't work in a spread out City like London which historically hasn't had a high skyline (admittedly changing now)

still need to queue up so long for half an hour just to see the view... so many other place to see it at for free google it

Agreed, it can be lengthy in the summer season and I don’t think it’s for everyone. But if you’re new to the city or exploring it can be quite lovely once you’re on board. And you could stay on for the whole journey as a round trip if that’s easier.

I used this a few weeks ago and was a bit disappointed. We spent more time loading and unloading passengers than we did going up and down the Thames. Having left Westminster Pier we then went straight over to London Eye and picked people up from there which took longer that it would have for the people just to walk across the bridge! Commentary was reasonably interesting, but is just delivered by one of the crew, so delivery can be hit and miss. For the price it's still not a bad deal, but travelling up the river once was enough for me, I'd rather tube back than hop on and off for a few days.

Cadburys (119g bags of buttons) chocolate have a free ticket If you buy one you get one free. Also Kelloggs cereal always have a free entry if you buy another ticket. (the offer that is on mine says buy an adult or child and get a free adult.

I went to Alternate n Towers with my 9yr old last October (during scare fest )- 2 for 1 tickets and had an amazing day - got there at 9:15am and left at 8:45 ! £50 for the both of us (took sandwiches) and a full day of rides - well worth the money imo !...

It says Coca Cola London Eye on the voucher. I have not tried it yet. Has anyone else tried using the code to book online?

I've just bought a pack as we are off to London next weekend - I know the 2 for 1 vouchers (national rail) work fine but I'm wondering if this voucher will allow for a fancier journey (champagne for example!

Coca Cola London Eye? If it is sponsored next year by durex will you be calling it the Durex London Eye?? Took the kids last summer and they loved it but it was virtually impossible to take a photo of them without coke ads all over the pod. Great experience all the same.

Thank you for this. I had almost given up on London Eye discounts after realising the train ticket 2for1 offer was suspended when we are there next week. I have now had a closer look on our cereal boxes as I hadn't even noticed the Eye was included on the voucher! :D

Few excluded date with these, I got caught out with them last October Half Term at The Blackpool Tower, ended up having to pay full for everyone, far more expensive than if I'd bought online in advance. London Aquarium is of very poor value. I would rather spend my money on Chessington as the sea life there was much more superior!

Hmm planning a visit to the capital to do alot of the tourist stuff. I've had a quick look at the London pass. Seems lots of savings. Is there a catch? Which is the better deal?
