Decent deal if you missed the Prepaid MasterCard offer from FairFX offer in August. Pay £5.95 with code DOUBLE and get £25 travel money on a prepaid MasterCard (Euro or Dollar) -… Read more

Checked mine and voucher active in acct. Result.

I've just ordered a Groupon code, and have followed the instructions in the "fine print" to order the card at I've got as far as Step 3 - Payment (where you enter your credit card details and click "Buy Now") but I have not been given the option to enter my Groupon code at any stage. Has anyone else had this problem? I guess I won't click "Buy Now" until I can find a way of entering the code

Can someone explain how once you have the card how you withdraw it back to your regular bank account either through PayPal or Revolut?

How do I bank transfer with this card to my normal account? Couldn't see on website

First post - just to let you all know, this deal is still available on Groupon. I am not sure if the DOUBLE code works, but just make a new Groupon account, and use HELLO15, and you get 15% off, which coincidentally, brings down the cost to £5.95 My question - I ordered and received the US$ version for myself, wife and son. Someone above wrote they also got the EURO version - but if I try, it says I already have an account with FairFx. How did you get around this? THanks

(y) - took a while to wade through all the options - interesting to see if “maintains existing contact” works as I’m out of contract at the moment!

Wow. It’s £1 cheaper and extra speed!!(highfive)

Via the BT Mobile app and then changing my plan I managed to get 40Gb Extra Speed @ £16pm includes £5 BT Broadband discount and BT Sport included. Maintains existing contract as well. There were at least 5 other variants of the same contract with tiny changes - I.e. new 12 month contract. This was the best one I could see. 50Gb was £18

Has anyone got this deal in recent days? tried live chat twice this week and first time just got offered the standard tariff and second time told me to call 0800 number. I'm a BT broadband customer.

I have 2 sims and can’t work out how to do this. It prompts me to buy a new ‘family’ sim and won’t let me simply make a family sim from the 2 I have already

Just received my email to claim the £100, a month after connection.

It seems to have expired this morning, was working yesterday but I'm still waiting on a moving date from the solicitor and now it has gone ;( , don't suppose there are any new ones?

Or you can negotiate a better price, because your contract will be finished an they will want to try to keep you. Remember to hand your notice in 1 month before it ends, then sit back and wait for the offers to come. :)

Could you put this together online or have to call them and haggle lol ?

Hmm. Not working for me :(

So how do I use Quidco or tcb with this offer?

If you still can switch over to 2.4ghz as you will be on 5ghz, that way the signal will travel much further. Ensure you do a regular speed test, mine was at 100mb but my normal speed is 6-20mb. My contract ends next month thank God, never having Virgin again even if they give me it for free.

Seems a very good deal to me, thanks poster (y)

Is this deal also available for the Fibre 2?

I've had a few issues with quidco and they just tell you nothing more can be done. I stopped using them when I lost out on over £100 from a phone contract. Topcashback still has occasional issues but support has always managed to get me the cashback payout.

Shall I take the bait? I left Sky to go to TalkTalk. Luckily, TalkTalk term is finished now. Any recommendations? Is this "Sky Talk Anytime" part of the package? So I'd get the Fibre broadband and Anytime Talk? EDIT: I decided to just try it anyway. I entered the code and received this message: We do not recognise the offer associated with the code you've entered. Please check that you have entered the offer code correctly. Turns out the code didn't work... Or so I thought. I thought I'd try and see what would happen if I'm not signed in and they can't use cookies/cache or whatever it is they use, so I decided to try it with incognito and turns out it works fine (except that they said they're not able to have me keep my number, and they'll provide my new home number in writing.) Is this meant to happen or is this shady? I need help with this... Can some form of action be carried out?

What about existing customers. £100 gift card not overly important to me with this deal.

Seems like a good deal to me, even without the £100 cashback card

Already had super fast 2 at £40 a month and they sent me a price rise letter so put cancellation in, told them I was going to Virgin who were offering 350mbps on a rolling monthly contract for £44.99 (student deal but no student evidence required). Called BT back 2 days before it was due to cancel and they offered me Ultrafast Fibre 2 Plus for £44.99 - they said it was the closest they could offer to the Virgin deal as they couldn’t give me a rolling monthly contract.

I’ve just managed to get them down to £44.99 a month.

I can only see anywhere near this on £70 mastercard £40 M&S £40 quidco, but its the 52mb download product not the 38mb product on this thread. But with £120 cashback tcb and £40 giftcard on the 38mb product there isnt a lot to choose between them

REF THE QUIDCO DEAL DID ANYONE SCREENSHOT the deals page back when this deal started please?? I inadvertantly switched to Quidco I think when checking the deals and figured they were the same as TCB, but in fact the prices weredifferent I discovered when i went back to check.., so if anyone has the original deals listed I'd appreciate it?? I ordered originally Sky fibre unlimitedwith phone line, so thats really the deal I entered under Quidco, However I later added TV install as it was cheaper to do so after joining, by £5 per month :D and also had tried to get the all calls addon for £2, but despite thedeal page active date changing every week, it actually says offer not available(it was an email offer to original non phone people so to be fair wasn't likely to, but I then added the all calls for the std. £8 per month also so the deal price im after is those two please.. Sky fibre unlimited with phone , and sky fibre unlimited with phone and TV (This is what i ended up with , but i think would discount me from the actual quidco offer??) I still purchased the correct qualifying offer at the time .. Secondly, can anyone else confirm that the £100 prepaid card offer doesn't show up in your offers section on sky untill the 30 day qualifying period is up?? or is it supposed to be there just unclaimable for the 30 days +?? mine doesnt show at the moment?? (This is when logging in to ) Thanks in hope :) mine is also still tracking at £6 and £17 Tracked?? any improvement on this ?

Quidco seem to have a cashback of 75 quid plus there is a 10 quid bonus - if both pays out works out pretty cheap - anyone tried and it tracked ok for them?

If all else fails, I’ll try and stick the last quid on my water bill, but it’s a hell of a faff for 4%. For 8% it’s worthwhile if you use amazon a lot or can find something to quickly ‘cash it in’

Thanks for the warning.

I did enquire. The answer was rather involved but i think the critical paragraph was Some prepaid or virtual cards may not be suitable for use with PayPal. If you want to use such a card, you should make sure that it's reusable. This means that you can add money to the same card multiple times and the card number doesn't change. Adding money to this card is not possible AFAICS so the answer wouls seem to be no.

I'm not sure if it will require another authorisation. Once it's authorised i think you can spend whatever is left (subject to £1 minimum spend). It refused mine yesterday (despite a purchase last week) for the reasons i gave. But today it went through. Maybe my last week's spend did not 'register' as authorised with amazon because it was a marketplace seller and this necessitated yesterday's authorisation. Maybe they authorised it again today and somehow the £1 was credited back again before they took the balance so it went through. Who knows? The possibilities abound and frankly don't interest me that much. Unfortunately i'd already ordered another virtual card before i realised all these problems existed, but i won't be buying another.

Ah yea, I hadn’t thought that to spend my last £1 it’ll require another pre-auth. Looks like I’m about neutral then and at least know NOT to do it for my bigger cash backs (although, a bigger amount would give less % loss having £1 left on the card). Sometimes POS in store lets you enter the number if you purposely fail the card (put in backwards 3 times), but a lot of effort for a quid, and the staff SHOULD verify what you’ve inputted (but never do, I did it a lot when I locked my PIN to my only credit card a few years back)

For those who can't get Fibre, this seems like a very good deal.

Thanks OP for this deal. Sky customer team are actually decent. I’m an existing sky tv customer and I opened a new account in error. They allowed me to take this offer and also waived line rental for one month for the inconvenience. Hopefully topcashback tracks. Went for the fibre unlimited instead. This deal should have gotten more heat. Sky fibre unlimited and anytime calls works out = £24.66 pm after all the cash backs etc

with sky for the past 3 years, the cost increased from £17 to £25 within 3 years.... Planning to switch which provider can give some concession in 12 month contact in case if we want to cancel in between.

My £80 cashback (for the £18 a month unlimited) through quidco didn't track at all. I had to raise a claim to which eventually my claim was paid out. Was a bit of a hassle but I've got Broadband for £18 a month for 12 months with £50 prepaid card and £80 cashback. Not bad I say

I agree, I fact I would cap personal credit rates - 25% - extortionate and if they can’t make a profit off 25% max APR then their business model is flawed. Far too many payday loans at 1000s of % - low wages and a new washing machine needed could spiral out of control very easily with the % rates. At least Amazon isn’t 49% CC which I see Provident etc doing ? Shocking state of affairs Tories/Labour have continued to allow financial businesses get away with pre and post bank collapses ? :/

Don’t go mental on Amazon lol

Yeah you move to Platinum as long as you make one transaction a month and payment on time.

Cheers OP! (y) Have just activated my card on the phone (automated system, took all of 3 minutes), and have instantly had the £25 credit applied to my account. After registering with the online account management, it seems to be easy to setup full automatic DD repayments, in order to not be stung by fees through forgetting to repay in time (they DO warn that this can take up to 6 weeks to setup, so best to make sure you make any repayments manually until it shows on your statement). Also worth people checking through their settings on the card management website, as one of the default settings, for instance, is for them to be able to extend your credit limit automatically without asking you, which you may not want..

Got my card today with £2000 limit. I already have 4 other cards (nearly all zero balance) so this won’t be used.

Recently remortgaged last year, have around £125k on various credit cards at my disposal (my credit rating drops a few points with each yearly application usually returns about a month or two later. Had absolutely no issue getting a remortgage.

Finally, a good summary! As an alternative if you don't spend very much money (or at least not at Amazon) or want to be more sure of being accepted or just want to begin a credit history, Quidco are offering £45 cashback on the Aqua Reward card (Topcashback have nothing). Same company runs it: straight 0.5% cashback (actual cash at the end of the year, not Amazon credit) on everything. Just don't miss payments or you'll be sorry. And it helps if your Quidco history is good too. :P

Thanks, worked for me, as said above can now redeem 950 points for 10 quid voucher, there's a few items on the site for a fiver as it costs 3.50 postage. My spend was 5.50 plus postage.

It’s been updated now, can redeem for £10 John Lewis e-gift card, just done it

I signed up for this offer with a prepaid Mastercard using the code MSE10 to get the 1000 points. The ICE representative on the MSE forums has said that due to unprecedented demand (was in the MSE email) they had ran out of vouchers (something about them expiring) but more would be on the site today. Sure enough the minimum amount of points you can exchange has increased from 50 points = £1 to 450 = £5....Still not at the 950 points for £10 but getting there. Seemingly the John Lewis vouchers are working fine and that it's just the M&S vouchers they are having trouble with. I read that you make your purchase as normal with your Mastercard and you will then receive an email with a link that will refund the £10 to your "credit card" (Mastercard). How this works for prepaid cards or other Mastercards would be something to watch.

Finally got a code. I know it says it's an online code, but anyone know if you could spend this in-store?

Yep. And when you try and spend the points there are a pile of ridiculous limitations on the number of points you can spend and how often (wait three months wtf?!)

It has gone up in price, this deal has expired.... Shame as I missed out too, delayed signing up too long!

Dont see any for £18.99...£24

I can’t fault Sky Broadband or it’s £8.99 all in line and broadband fee, £2 Anytime Extra, £10.99 goodness that works out cheaper than Orange £5 broadband as line rental was much higher on BT (y)

Did anyone buy using the link in post? It has some deals not available on normal bt site. But when you try to buy a package it goes to a weird looking page that doesn’t look like it’s part of the BT website. Any advice?

Do you mean reward card?

Had an email from BT saying that if I commit to another 12 months I will get 25gb instead of 20gb for £16. Struggle to use 10gb as it is, will just leave it go onto a rolling contract until a good EE offer comes up. Last time I switched it worked out to just under £7pm for my current contract.

Well at least you speak to a U.K. based BT staff member...that won’t happen on Three/o2 or Vodafone most or all are offshore/third party. Vodafone has a minority of call centres actual staffed with Vodafone employees. Frankly you get the odd numpty on EE/BT mobile call centres but the minority is always better than the majority - I find the Irish based EE mobile staff so friendly and willing to help more than the U.K. staff!

We have 3 mm mobiles from BT. Has been flawless for years, it's just using EE. They gave me a mobile signal booster when I moaned about coverage. Had to hassle a bit for the latest cashback but then they accidentally paid me twice :D
