Plusnet have a better deal at the moment that is a little over £10 a month, which I have and so far it's been great for the price. You pay it all upfront and then nothing to pay for the year. As another poster said, check out the mse broadband page.

Martin lewis website( MSE) Money saving expert is always worth a look as they also seem to get insentives for you to join up,rather like the now expired deal here, dont forget Uswitch and Money supermarket. The insentives change across all three of these at times.Happy shopping / gaming. (highfive)

Hi LadyEleanor,i didnt know you could find out through Sam.So being intrigued i found out,and im 1075m away. From main exchange. And as from the roadside green box about 75 m.So quite lucky.

Speed depends on distance from BT exchange. For 10+ I think you will be under 1Km. I think Samknows tells you.

Ah I thought there might be a reason so didn’t want to risk it, I can’t get fibre but get by gaming on my standard plusnet broadband at the moment. I have just come out of contract so shopping around for a new introductory offer so was genuinely curious before I switched. Thanks for the reply. (y)

That's not true because I spent mine happily. Have you tried contacting support about it?

cant get it to work - tried paying usd, gbp and euros - wont accept any - cvv number on back of card keeps failing - now I know why on offer as you cant spend it

Yes I’ve tried several sites now and it fails on every site, all needing the CVV. It’s fully activated because I have my PIN for the card and the activate tab has gone. I’ll have to try speak to them Monday when they open. thanks

No, but the website needs to ask for the CVV or it won't work.

Hi mate, I’ve got my card and swapped to gbp however whenever I try to use the card it errors on the payment. Do you need to do anything to activate it? cheer

Sky Broadband Unlimited, Talk & Line Rental (£20 for 12 months= £240) - (£7.50 a month after £75 TCB Cashback & £75 Mastercard)
Found 3rd AugFound 3rd Aug
For those who can't get Fibre, this seems like a very good deal.

Thanks OP for this deal. Sky customer team are actually decent. I’m an existing sky tv customer and I opened a new account in error. They allowed me to take this offer and also waived line rental for one month for the inconvenience. Hopefully topcashback tracks. Went for the fibre unlimited instead. This deal should have gotten more heat. Sky fibre unlimited and anytime calls works out = £24.66 pm after all the cash backs etc

with sky for the past 3 years, the cost increased from £17 to £25 within 3 years.... Planning to switch which provider can give some concession in 12 month contact in case if we want to cancel in between.

My £80 cashback (for the £18 a month unlimited) through quidco didn't track at all. I had to raise a claim to which eventually my claim was paid out. Was a bit of a hassle but I've got Broadband for £18 a month for 12 months with £50 prepaid card and £80 cashback. Not bad I say

I've gone through TCB for a few years when buying Sky broadband and has always tracked and paid out without any problems.

Cancelation team +44-333-759-1018. 18 months but 12 months £10 off on line rental

Where do you get the cashback I can't find the deal unless it's already too late

Does anyone know if you can use the prepaid MasterCard to add credit to your sky broadband account? I did that with my by broadband, would be cool to be able to do the same.

Still showing as £80 Quidco for me, with a £75 MasterCard from sky.

Really? Ahh poop. Was gonna pull the trigger on this today.

I agree, I fact I would cap personal credit rates - 25% - extortionate and if they can’t make a profit off 25% max APR then their business model is flawed. Far too many payday loans at 1000s of % - low wages and a new washing machine needed could spiral out of control very easily with the % rates. At least Amazon isn’t 49% CC which I see Provident etc doing ? Shocking state of affairs Tories/Labour have continued to allow financial businesses get away with pre and post bank collapses ? :/

Don’t go mental on Amazon lol

Yeah you move to Platinum as long as you make one transaction a month and payment on time.

Cheers OP! (y) Have just activated my card on the phone (automated system, took all of 3 minutes), and have instantly had the £25 credit applied to my account. After registering with the online account management, it seems to be easy to setup full automatic DD repayments, in order to not be stung by fees through forgetting to repay in time (they DO warn that this can take up to 6 weeks to setup, so best to make sure you make any repayments manually until it shows on your statement). Also worth people checking through their settings on the card management website, as one of the default settings, for instance, is for them to be able to extend your credit limit automatically without asking you, which you may not want..

Got my card today with £2000 limit. I already have 4 other cards (nearly all zero balance) so this won’t be used.

Recently remortgaged last year, have around £125k on various credit cards at my disposal (my credit rating drops a few points with each yearly application usually returns about a month or two later. Had absolutely no issue getting a remortgage.

Finally, a good summary! As an alternative if you don't spend very much money (or at least not at Amazon) or want to be more sure of being accepted or just want to begin a credit history, Quidco are offering £45 cashback on the Aqua Reward card (Topcashback have nothing). Same company runs it: straight 0.5% cashback (actual cash at the end of the year, not Amazon credit) on everything. Just don't miss payments or you'll be sorry. And it helps if your Quidco history is good too. :P

Can't go wrong as long as you have a good Credit Rating! I applied....I was excepted and £25 went straight into my Amazon account, so I spent it......happy days!

Thanks, worked for me, as said above can now redeem 950 points for 10 quid voucher, there's a few items on the site for a fiver as it costs 3.50 postage. My spend was 5.50 plus postage.

It’s been updated now, can redeem for £10 John Lewis e-gift card, just done it

I signed up for this offer with a prepaid Mastercard using the code MSE10 to get the 1000 points. The ICE representative on the MSE forums has said that due to unprecedented demand (was in the MSE email) they had ran out of vouchers (something about them expiring) but more would be on the site today. Sure enough the minimum amount of points you can exchange has increased from 50 points = £1 to 450 = £5....Still not at the 950 points for £10 but getting there. Seemingly the John Lewis vouchers are working fine and that it's just the M&S vouchers they are having trouble with. I read that you make your purchase as normal with your Mastercard and you will then receive an email with a link that will refund the £10 to your "credit card" (Mastercard). How this works for prepaid cards or other Mastercards would be something to watch.

Finally got a code. I know it says it's an online code, but anyone know if you could spend this in-store?

Yep. And when you try and spend the points there are a pile of ridiculous limitations on the number of points you can spend and how often (wait three months wtf?!)

It has gone up in price, this deal has expired.... Shame as I missed out too, delayed signing up too long!

Dont see any for £18.99...£24

Usually 16mbps surfing, 24mbps when 4K runs via Roku, I’m less than a mile from the exchange but Sky always gave me the best speeds, BT, Orange, TitTalk, EE entry Broadbands were all were crap for streaming HD let alone 4K. I can’t fault Sky Broadband or it’s £8.99 all in line and broadband fee, £2 Anytime Extra, £10.99 goodness that works out cheaper than Orange £5 broadband as line rental was much higher on BT (y)

If I'm an existing customer, how can I get this offer?

Did anyone buy using the link in post? It has some deals not available on normal bt site. But when you try to buy a package it goes to a weird looking page that doesn’t look like it’s part of the BT website. Any advice?

Do you mean reward card?

Had an email from BT saying that if I commit to another 12 months I will get 25gb instead of 20gb for £16. Struggle to use 10gb as it is, will just leave it go onto a rolling contract until a good EE offer comes up. Last time I switched it worked out to just under £7pm for my current contract.

Well at least you speak to a U.K. based BT staff member...that won’t happen on Three/o2 or Vodafone most or all are offshore/third party. Vodafone has a minority of call centres actual staffed with Vodafone employees. Frankly you get the odd numpty on EE/BT mobile call centres but the minority is always better than the majority - I find the Irish based EE mobile staff so friendly and willing to help more than the U.K. staff!

We have 3 mm mobiles from BT. Has been flawless for years, it's just using EE. They gave me a mobile signal booster when I moaned about coverage. Had to hassle a bit for the latest cashback but then they accidentally paid me twice :D

Mine has uplifted to £110 on the desktop TCB site but is still showing as £45 on the mobile app.. weird.

I tried to go througth the trading standards and the Advertisement Statndard authorities... But they seem to have limited autority over these kinds of contracts....

Weird. When I go to raise a claim TCB seem to know I was expecting £110 .. hopefully the claim will be successful.

Don't sign up for a deal based on cashback as it's not guaranteed. Have you raised an issue with topcasback? Usually it's the retailer that's caused the issue

Ah wondered where they got them from! Makes sense. Haven't tried it yet but pretty certain it can be used by existing customers too. There was a deal on yesterday for £30 Deliveroo credit for £9.99 (it's disappeared now) but people seemed to be using them fine, and if they are from Wuntu then their terms state that they can be used by new and existing customers.

thankyou (y)

Free delivery, essentially. Confusingly they also have this deal on which gets you £2.50 off your next order when you pay with MasterCard and enter MASTERCARD as a voucher code. No idea if they stack...

Price is very good but service conditions are a total joke, they throttle your speeds down after 12 and 25 gb respectively, seriously this might be acceptable on a mobile connection but not a home one.

Can I get TV as well and still get cashback?

I reckon a lot of people saying slow speeds & dropouts are probably the ones using sky's router for WiFi. I had the same as switch to my own router & had no problems for 10 months after which I left

Anyone knows if there any TV offer? I have sky broadband i like get tv but they ask for alot..i look for £10 month tv

£10pm Sky Broadband utld inc line rental finishes at end of month. On 15th May took plusnet MSE deal - same service for £10pm. Sky sent us a 'Sorry you're leaving letter'. Still within my 14 days to cancel switch to Plusnet. I'm asking fellow community members for guidance/help with a strategy to get basic ultimate fibre - at a retention rate £18 or below ( with either provider). Just took off the delivery fee tbh :( still a saving

Not applicable as they have a minimum spend of £10 on Deliveroo and pretty much every similar website. It wouldn't be cost effective to have a driver taken up just to deliver a bag of fries as the delivery person would cost more to them than what they would be making on that customer. I know your comment was more of a sarcastic comment though ;)

thanks, i've corrected it.

I take it this is normal copper line internet. I work in IT industry and use non-fibre Internet and it does the job pretty well. You comment make no sense.

£23 is expensive. There is a Plusnet fibre deal effectively £16.66 a month (was £15.82 earlier).

If it helps I’ve just renewed my fibre unlimited deal for £23 over char. It’s always worth speaking with Sky when your contract ends. This is a great deal heat added

Sad. I read this as FTL travel.

It is Samsung Pay to be fair, you wouldn't expect it to work on other phones (though Pay Mini exists outside of the UK). It's highly unlikely the 65k threshold will be reached - the last Samsung Pay promo for registering a MasterCard had a 5,000 people redemption limit and that was never reached since most people just use Google Pay

so even if you have one of the right mastercards its useless without a samsung phone? and doesnt work after 65k paid out = waste of time

No, don't believe so. You could try adding it to the app and it will tell you if the card is supported but I doubt it

I posted this on 1st April so it's a shame you missed it. Still 2 weeks left though!
