I've had grief with £1 reserve at Amazon. Heard nowt back from the support email of TCB's virtual card supplier, so went through the regular TCB CS and they've been chasing it for a couple of weeks without joy.

Brilliant. I think it's worth upgrading for me for a better payout. Thanks guys.

I think if you are ordering something over the phone, you could do part payment e.g. pizza! Pay the balance on the card and remaining amount as cash on delivery

I just upgraded and it shows the higher rates

Is it just Amazon that reserves the £1..? So if I find something to buy for exactly £1 elsewhere, can I then use the last pound, or do other retailers work the same way

Just noticed this before checking out on Amazon. **EDIT*** MUST BE ELIGIBLE THIRD PARTY WEBSITE

Agreed, I'd used to find myself confused whenever this happened.

A few other cards that I use are not *this* dumb in their fraud protection. Don't even remember when was the last time I had to enter a pin on the ASDA credit card. Moved to Amazon for their marginally better cashback rates - but not worth this hassle. Great if it works fine online. Good for you!

If it's that much hassle use a different card. They all require a chip and pin at some point after X number of transactions a day/week. You could even avoid using contactless and use the pin to avoid your embarrassment. But this deal is for an online purchase which does not use contactless so you should be ok.

Amazon master card is silly. Their fraud protection is so ridiculous that it blocks contactless payments after every 20ish payments. So when a transaction does not go through you stand there looking embarrassed as if you were trying to fraud someone. Does not matter that you are paying for a coffee in the same Costa at around the same time every day.

I have used amazon pay previously at the entertainer toy shop and skatehut which isn't listed on I cannot find a list of all sellers

Thanks for sharing this deal OP, have signed up and bought Mario Odyssey for £10!! Happy days! (party)

Made me look, sign up and buy one, so have some heat...

It was a very good first deal post, but as you are touching on there HUKD does work in mysterious ways with what goes hot or cold and reasons why. You got a great price on your Switch there, and helped one or two others do the same, keep posting the deals :)

Maybe I should of just added the deal as a general sign up for £30 gift card on amazon instead of with the switch but I've been looking to buy one for a month now and that's the cheapest price I have found

Bit harsh is so cold, but the HUKD vid gaming community don't seem to generaly be keen on any deals that involve use of a credit card, opening an account with the likes of Very etc, and regardless of how good it can be if you work it to the maximum benefit, it will usually get voted cold. It got heat from me.

Just rang for my PAC code from EE, the advisor asked me if I had checked speeds as BT use 3 network. I told her I doubt that as BT own EE, she was adamant they used 3. Probably just a ploy to get me to keep two lines with them.

Well BT OWNS EE so should be good :)

About to order another, fingers crossed. T&C's will come in handy if they don't show it as redeemable on account after the 30 days.

How's the coverage in central London?

Weird i called and explicitly asked about going via cashback site and she told me its fine. Also, the £90 mastercard did not show up even when i went direct on 3 different computers so i assumed it was a site bug. And just for luck i checked the mastercard offer t's&c's and it makes no mention of cashback being a problem, or in fact the deal showing on the site. The exact wording was something like "£90 reward can be claimed for all those that get plans of 15GB+ between xx/11/18 and 22/11/18". Thats not verbatim.... Oh yay, i found the terms.... here

these deals come n go zaheer, so keep yer eyes open on both HUKD and Amazon. (y)

Yep just checked again and it's £10 so not worth it

Not that I've noticed zaheer. I got it for myself last week (or so), and even applied on behalf of a friend, but as I used MY landline, it didn't run smooth. She was sent a form in the post to sign (done now) that needs 2B returned, but by that time I don't expect she'll get her £30 credit :-( :)

Is the offer back on at £30?

I didn't worry or care about the company (Newday) They did me a favour...they cancelled my card due to LACK OF USE just B4 I found this deal, so I was able to apply again, and MINUTES later I had £30 on my gift card. I don't use a credit card AS a credit card, I use it for the purchase protection a credit card offers over a debit card (or cash) and will simply pay-off the credit card seconds after it's used... Use them (Newday, and the card) don't let them use you. (y)

It took about 2 working days for mine to be added. HTH ;)

I bought this and clicked the link on the voucher, it took me to where I made an account and loaded it with £20.00. Where was I meant to put a voucher code in? Has it tracked it as I came from the Groupon link?

Nah, many thanks for sharing. It looked like a great deal, I just didn't think it could get complicated and I didn't think about the long term... I don't like to have physical copies of my stuff stored online. I've even seen someone impersonating me online with my full CV!!! I'll try to remember for next time as well. Now just trying to clarify and close my account for now. Not sure if I could get a refund from groupon though. We'll see... Cheers.

Not sure how BT advertises these products. I took the "average speed 50mb". What could you get I.e. above average .. and they don't actually say what the upload speed is either. What should it be? I am getting between 35 to 45mb dl and 9.8mb ul and ping of 40 to 45ms

Does anybody know how to claim the M&S voucher? I only see the MasterCard on the list when I log in to claim my reward. Thanks.

I can’t remember if I went through TCB or Quidco for this offer, as neither have tracked, Is there anyway of finding out whom I went through, so that I could raise a ticket? Would BT be able to tell me Thank you.

£25 Travel Money on Prepaid MasterCard (Euro/Dollar) from FairFX for £5.25 w/code via Groupon (Top up required)
Refreshed 9th NovRefreshed 9th Nov
Decent deal if you missed the Prepaid MasterCard offer from FairFX offer in August. Pay £5.25 with code SANTA and get £25 travel money on a prepaid MasterCard (Euro or Dollar) - … Read more

word of warning - do not use a credit card to top up your fairfx account when doing this offer because its treated like a cash advance rather than a purchase - I didnt realise this at the time & barclaycard charged me £2.99 + daily interest for the £25 'cash withdawal' very annoying since I could quite easily have used a debit card instead had I known about it beforehand

Got on this late but literally just done it and it's all gone smoothly so far. SANTA seems to have expired so used DOUBLE, just waiting on the card. Can you load the card online prior to receiving the physical card? Or must it be received to activate first? Voucher is present on fairfx account and both cashbacks already tracked. Simples. Edit: I did Euros, no stock issue Noticed afterwards you can get £10 for referals, so I'm guessing as an alternative to TCB, you could refer a family member instead, definately more worthwhile is they actually intend to top up continously, as £10 is for you on registration but £10 for them after £500 top up

Email their support maybe? However, they are painfully slow so Groupon may give you a full refund at the worst.

I have not managed to redeem my code I signed up with Fairfx but put the wrong reference in for Groupon there is no option to put code in on trying to open a eurocard and now the exchange rate is rubbish I've got 5 days now before groupon voucher expires

its £7 now on Groupon

UPDATE - I’m so sorry to everyone that bought their sim on the 28th when I posted this BUT the reward side say it’s only a £75 voucher. I’ve complained to customer services who partly agree, you only find out the reward value AFTER the 30 days cooling off period has passed BUT their views is, offers change daily so they cant change the rewards if a better one turns up - likewise if it was worse. I have managed to get the extra £15 as customer services listened back to a call I made to them about the increase, and the advisor did tell me I qualify for the £90. Trying calling them, explain you would have cancelled your order and re-ordered if the system had let you see what reward you were getting and if it had shown anywhere on the order confirmation. But even £75 isn’t bad, plus you can always downgrade the plan if you don’t need the 20gb’s and save money too. Good luck all those early purchasers.

Topcashback just been declined for mine too. Can't really complain as didn't expect both, although I'm still waiting for the reward card...

Just a heads up that I had my cashback declined. I didn't change anything and have waiting to log a claim for my reward card so not sure where it went wrong.

Looks like it’s on the day of sale. So I’m really sorry, we all get £75 for being a day early ;( I’ve asked customer services to look into this tho as I was lead to believe it was day of activation not sale, or I would have cancelled under the 30days and just re-ordered with the £90 reward. It’s been a week tho and nothing positive. Reward say it’s £75.

Just sought this thread out, turns out 'm not alone in having nothing showing in my 'rewards' bit! What's this about £90? I didn't activate my cards until 5/10 as I had an open issue with broadband, can I get more? I originally ordered when it was a £75 reward...

So how do I use Quidco or tcb with this offer?

If you still can switch over to 2.4ghz as you will be on 5ghz, that way the signal will travel much further. Ensure you do a regular speed test, mine was at 100mb but my normal speed is 6-20mb. My contract ends next month thank God, never having Virgin again even if they give me it for free.

Seems a very good deal to me, thanks poster (y)

I've had a few issues with quidco and they just tell you nothing more can be done. I stopped using them when I lost out on over £100 from a phone contract. Topcashback still has occasional issues but support has always managed to get me the cashback payout.

Shall I take the bait? I left Sky to go to TalkTalk. Luckily, TalkTalk term is finished now. Any recommendations? Is this "Sky Talk Anytime" part of the package? So I'd get the Fibre broadband and Anytime Talk? EDIT: I decided to just try it anyway. I entered the code and received this message: We do not recognise the offer associated with the code you've entered. Please check that you have entered the offer code correctly. Turns out the code didn't work... Or so I thought. I thought I'd try and see what would happen if I'm not signed in and they can't use cookies/cache or whatever it is they use, so I decided to try it with incognito and turns out it works fine (except that they said they're not able to have me keep my number, and they'll provide my new home number in writing.) Is this meant to happen or is this shady? I need help with this... Can some form of action be carried out?

Called BT back 2 days before it was due to cancel and they offered me Ultrafast Fibre 2 Plus for £44.99 - they said it was the closest they could offer to the Virgin deal as they couldn’t give me a rolling monthly contract.

REF THE QUIDCO DEAL DID ANYONE SCREENSHOT the deals page back when this deal started please?? I inadvertantly switched to Quidco I think when checking the deals and figured they were the same as TCB, but in fact the prices weredifferent I discovered when i went back to check.., so if anyone has the original deals listed I'd appreciate it?? I ordered originally Sky fibre unlimitedwith phone line, so thats really the deal I entered under Quidco, However I later added TV install as it was cheaper to do so after joining, by £5 per month :D and also had tried to get the all calls addon for £2, but despite thedeal page active date changing every week, it actually says offer not available(it was an email offer to original non phone people so to be fair wasn't likely to, but I then added the all calls for the std. £8 per month also so the deal price im after is those two please.. Sky fibre unlimited with phone , and sky fibre unlimited with phone and TV (This is what i ended up with , but i think would discount me from the actual quidco offer??) I still purchased the correct qualifying offer at the time .. Secondly, can anyone else confirm that the £100 prepaid card offer doesn't show up in your offers section on sky untill the 30 day qualifying period is up?? or is it supposed to be there just unclaimable for the 30 days +?? mine doesnt show at the moment?? (This is when logging in to ) Thanks in hope :) mine is also still tracking at £6 and £17 Tracked?? any improvement on this ?

Quidco seem to have a cashback of 75 quid plus there is a 10 quid bonus - if both pays out works out pretty cheap - anyone tried and it tracked ok for them?

Each transaction gives you a different virtual card

I just noticed the Virtual MasterCard prepaid card has +16% bonus payout. However, it shows as a limit of £250 payout. Are you able to cash out multiple times to the same pre paid card, or will each payout give you a new virtual card number?

If all else fails, I’ll try and stick the last quid on my water bill, but it’s a hell of a faff for 4%. For 8% it’s worthwhile if you use amazon a lot or can find something to quickly ‘cash it in’
